The owner came to my house and gave me a quote for deep cleaning. She told me everything they would do and it sounded very thorough. For example, she said they would not use dusters because that just causes dust to fly in the air but they would use vacuum or wipe down with damp cloth. I also had a few special requests like wiping down the legs of my kitchen and dining chairs and bar stools. She gave me a discounted price of $400 for the deep cleaning since I planned to continue general housecleaning every two weeks, if I was satisfied. On the date agreed, three ladies came to work on my house. The first thing I noticed before I left them to clean was that one of the ladies was using a duster and the dust was flying around. When I asked her about it, she didn't understand me. Only one of the three ladies spoke English but it was limited and still difficult to communicate. I decided to go ahead and leave and trust that they would do the job that I was promised. When I returned later, I could tell my house had been cleaned but there were a few things that were missed like the ceiling fan in the master bedroom, the top of the refrigerator and my specific request of the chair and bar stool legs. I called and left a message but did not get a return call. Two weeks later I answered the door and two of the three ladies were standing there with cleaning supplies in hand. We had a difficult time communicating again but they finally understood that I did not want their services. I got a phone call a little while later and when I explained the problems, the owner offered to correct them but I said I needed to work with people who understood what I needed and who could communicate with me. Other than the language barrier and missing a couple of things that should have been included, they did a good job.

Darlene has ended up cleaning my house for me for a year due to her expert and thorough services provided. Her specialty is floors - After she finishes cleaning your floors, they are clean enough to eat off of them. I definitely recommend her to anyone!

They did a pretty good job. They were a little bit hard to schedule but they did a good job when they were there and they worked quickly.

She did a very good job with the housecleaning. She was a little late, but she had to come from far away during rush hour traffic.

Yard looks good but took a while for service. I think the special offer put them behind.

The people who worked on my yard were friendly, hard-working and pleasant. I purchased a special coupon for this service. I was pleased when they contacted me since I hadn't gotten around to calling them. They came right over and we discussed the work. A schedule was set. However, due to being swamped by the number of people making use of the coupon and the rainy weather, they were several weeks late before they ever contacted me again. I do understand the delay, however my issue is that they did not call to inform me of the problem until a few days before they rescheduled. And then it rained again and the work was again postponed without a call to reschedule. Another issue is that I had asked for them to completely remove the small trees from my flower beds, roots and all. We had even discussed bringing in a small tractor to pull them out. However, no tractor was brought, and at the end, I was told that they were not able to "get it all" but that "it would not cause [me] any trouble". To the contrary, I was unable to plant in the flower beds due the huge amount of roots that were criss-crossing the bed. After great effort, I had to hire someone else to come and dig out the roots that I was unable to dig out myself. Moreover, although they had offered to trim my crepe myrtles and I had declined that offer, they trimmed them anyway. The weeding and mulching jobs were done well. I really feel that the delay between the time that we discussed the work and the time that the work took place (over a month) was the source of the misunderstanding, as well as the fact that I never received a written estimate with the work outlined. I definitely do not feel that it was on purpose. I now know to go over the work requested and the price agreed upon when they ARRIVE to begin the work if there is no written agreement. Without the time delay or with a written estimate, I think the work would have been done just as requested.

because he said I did not have all the materials (wood) that was needed. I told him that I would pay for his gas to make up for the inconvenience. He then calmed down and said that he would order the wood from lumber liquidators and it would take about 2 weeks to come in. He said he would notify when the wood was available I never heard from him again. I did pay him for the work he did that day 300.00 dollars he wanted 550.00 dollars. The entire completed job was suppose to cost 600.00. He wanted all his pay at once. When I told him no that is when he got upset.

Two workers were there the next morning and work began immediately. Two loads of mulch were spread and clean up was very thorough.

They stood us up seven times before they ever bothered show up. I came home from work several days to have them show up. They removed the trees, but were supposed to remove the stumps too. They cut them out, but left the stumps in the ground. They didn't do all the work that they were scheduled to do.

It went like clockwork. They showed up and did all of the services I asked them to do.

I ended up hiring them as my lawn people. They do all my lawn maintenance now.

I called them to set up an appointment and the person I spoke with was willing to work with me to honor the Deal. Her hands were somewhat tied because of extenuating circumstances within the company, so I ended up getting a refund.

It didn't go well, really. The cleaning was far less than thorough; and, when I contacted the provider to address the issue, she seemed unconcerned, stating that was the best that could be done. Needless to say, pursuant to a service business, that was the wrong answer.

Purchased Big Deal Coupon for $99.00 on March 29, 2013, for 3 hours of yard work. Greg Bell contacted me shortly after the purchase by phone and said it would be a while before he could get to me because of all of the rain and asked exactly what I needed done. Told him that I had several bedding plants that I wanted put in my flower beds. I waited a couple of weeks and sent him an e-mail with a picture of my flowerbeds. Darlene who responded to my e-mail several days later said she no longer worked for Greg but would tell him about my e-mail since he rarely checked the e-mails. I finally called him and asked if he was going to be able to get the planting done. He told me that he and Darlene, who evidently had gone back to work with him, would come out and review what I needed and then schedule. They came on a weekend afternoon, reviewed what I had needed, and scheduled Darlene to come on Tuesday, 4/30/13 at 3 PM. That Tuesday as I was headed home to meet her she called at 2:30 PM (thirty minutes before the scheduled appointment) and told me that Greg could not drive her out to my home as he was stuck on another job and wanted to reschedule for Thursday afternoon. Well, I work and had already planned to be off for the 4/30/13 appointment and the weather indicated rain for Thursday. I was unwilling to reschedule and waste another day of vacation in the hopes that Greg would be able to make this appointment so I requested a refund of my $99.00. As of today, June 5, 2013, I have not seen the money returned to me.

Greg Bell, the owner, is an extremely nice gentleman -- BUT it took me a month to get him to meet me at my house and discuss the work I needed done. I had paid for a special Angie's List deal on March 28: "$99 for up to 3 Hours of Professional Lawn and Yard Work Service!" For starters, I emailed the company at the address given on the Angie's List online order summary/invoice. I received a reply a few days later telling me that the person on the receiving end of my message "no longer worked" for the company. So I called the contact phone number on the same invoice. A woman named Darlene answered, and seemed in a big hurry to get off the phone. She gave me a different phone number after I told her why I was calling. When I finally reached Greg Bell, we agreed to meet at my home a couple of days later, at 5:30 p.m. I was there on time after I left my office; Greg was a complete no-show. I called again a day or two after that, and he apologized. He explained that the many days of heavy rain had backed up his work schedule, and on top of that, he was down to two work crews. He said he used to have five crews, but had a difficult time finding good employees. I'm a patient person, but this was beginning to annoy me. It took me another call or two before finally meeting on Thursday, May 23, to discuss the work needed in my yard. During that brief visit, Greg was, again, very apologetic about the delays. He assured me that he would do the work that weekend and I wouldn't need to be home. No one called or showed up Saturday, Sunday, or Monday (which was Memorial Day, so that didn't really surprise me, even though I did see other yard crews working in my neighborhood). Finally on Tuesday morning May 28, Greg called me at work and said they were about to tackle my backyard. When I got home that evening, yes -- the yard was clean, mowed, and tidy.

I'm not really satisfied with them. I feel like I didn't really get my monies worth out of it because I had to pay more money in order to get them to do what I wanted done, so I don't feel like it was really that good of a deal. I had to call them multiple times before I could get them to set up a time to come and do the service. Once they came and gave me the estimate to do the service they charged me $100 more then what I had the "Big Deal" for. I was supposed to have so many hours of service for $99 and I paid another $100 for them to do it. They said in order to haul away and do whatever that it was going to be so much that I had to pay the extra $100. I ended up paying $250 and I don't feel like I really got $250 worth of value from it. Although the people were very nice I had a very hard time getting them to come and give me the estimate. They were good about coming back once I agreed to pay them the extra $100, so once they finally came they were punctual and the quality of the work was good.

Darlene is very responsive and personable. A thorough cleaning was done. I would definitely use the cleaning services again.

Horrible Experience....Have yet to determine the cost of the door glass replacement which is surely more than the mulching job itself. Please beware of this company with no insurance, poor response, and truely no honesty!

Very happy with the service overall! The team worked extremely hard and it only took two days to finish! Communication was quick and easy. Response time was even better. Greg was out a few days later to look over the property, then give a quote. All phone calls were answered in a timely manner! Follow up was excellent also!

Greg and his assistants met the deadline, returned phone calls promptly and with a high degree of professionalism, did a great job. The mulch is the color I wanted and was placed neatly but they followed the work with a blower to make sure everything was clean and tidy. Greg is busy which is a good sign when hiring someone, and his rates are fair but not cheap. However, you get what you pay for! (I had anotehr experience with a cheaper land scape guy and his mulch contained weeks that I am still trying to combat.) For those negatiave reviews, I wonder if some people just do not realize the value of good professional help. Again, Greg's rates are more than fair, but he does not work for free! I will call him again and have already asked for a quote on sod in my backyard.

I purchased the 3hr/$99 deal. Greg came by and did a time and cost estimate for mulch and the work I wanted done. The men came when they said they would, did the work I needed done (as well as helped me with a non-yard issue) within the estimated time then mulched several of my flower beds. The price for the mulch was very reasonable. The men were considerate, polite and professional AND cleaned up after themselves which was greatly appreciated.

Three weeks following my coupon purchase, I tried to schedule a residential project, but was subjected to an organizational upheaval, unreturned phone calls & continual rescheduling of agreed upon appointments. Today's agreed upon appointment was originally scheduled for 8:30 am, then rescheduled for 1:00 pm, as 1:45 pm approached, I left a voicemail stating that if they didn't return my call or show up by 2:00 pm, I asked them to cancel appointment. At 2:30 pm, they called to say they were on their way, I told them not to bother. I expected an apology & how they could fix this wrong, but instead I was told to get my money back. I would not recommend Done Right.

I called them and left a voice message letting them know my needs. They called back and schduled an appointment. They showed up as scheduled, did the work, and I paid them when they finished. It was a very satisfactory and pleasant experience.

We had them out for an estimate for more work than the deal stated. He came back with a price of $450. I called him back stating that was more than I wanted to pay decided to just stick with the deal. He said he would call me back the next day, he never called. I tried to get ahold several times for several days with no response. His mailbox is now full.

It took a few days to get scheduled, but they came out, did great work and charged a very reasonable price. We have hired them to do our yard every two weeks.
