Done Right Lawn and Landscape

It took a few days to get scheduled, but they came out, did great work and charged a very reasonable price. We have hired them to do our yard every two weeks.

The leaf removal and lawn cutting was fine. But the drainage syatem work was only fair and the backfill that was done to cover the drain lines was done poorly so now I have long lines of sunken earth following the path of the drain lines. This is not good!

They never showed up or called back to tell me why.

I purchased the Angie's list deal of three hours for $99.00 - I contacted the company, left a message, didnt get a return phone call, called again spoke to a woman who said they would 'try' to get someone to come out the next day for an estimate (and even told her that we were interested in other ongoing services) and would call me, no call, no show. Left another message 3 days ago and still no return call. I purchased this deal based on the positive Angie List reviews but I am not the least bit impressed and I have already invested $99!! I hope that perhaps this review may trigger someone to call me??

It took several calls, in which I left messages, before anyone returned my calls. Then I was promised they'd be out on certain dates, but they didn't show. Eventually, they showed up and did a great job cleaning flower beds, and picking up piles of leaves that I'd raked.

Despite having contacted Done Right Lawn multiple times to schedule an appointment, I never heard from them. After about 1 month of trying, I asked Angie's List for a refund.

The owner came by and I told him I wanted the flower beds cleaned out including cutting back the monkey grass. I also told him I wanted the dead grass cut back and the leaves and clippings picked up all over the yard. I got home from work on the day they came and noticed that a mower had NOT been run over the yard and leaves were not picked up. I thought maybe they would finish the next day. That night, around 9:10pm, the owner showed up at my house so I walked outside and he said he lost his weed eater and wanted to look around the yard for it. I asked him why they hadn't cut the grass and picked up the leaves and he said he didn't realize I wanted that done but they would come back. He never called or came back so i went ahead and mailed him a check for the full $165 against my better judgement. They did a great job cleaning out the flower beds but based on the fact that he showed up at our house after 9pm and then never came back to complete the work would prevent me from using this company again and I certainly would not recommend them to anyone.

It has not been accomplished, because the lady does not show up to do the work. She has rescheduled numerous times, and then she has also just not shown up with no calls to let us know she is not coming.

I purchased the deal prior to Christmas and wasn't sure when I would have the work performed. After contacting Done Right Landscaping, I was told that even if the 3 months term of the deal expired, they would still give me the credit toward the job. We finally connected and on Saturday morning, the work began. After first attacking the weeds, I was asked if I wanted (for an additional $10) the beds sprayed with preemergent. I agreed, and only time will tell how well it works. The beds had been neglected for some time, so I'm sure it was well worth the extra $10. Then, the mulch was ready to be applied. I then watched as the mulch was applied by hand, not just thrown. I was impressed, and when it was all done, it looked great. I was so glad that I called Done Right to do the job. I'll certainly be calling them again for some other of my beds.

Darlene arrived and went straight to work! She brought all cleaning supplies. We are so pleased that she will be doing our house once a month! I wish I could afford her every two weeks!

The worker was nice. He did what I wanted like I wanted. He explained other services the company has and gave me his card. I will use again.

Arrived one afternoon. Looked at beds. Discussed best method to use. Said would return in the week.

I have a 75' by 105' yard that was filthy with leaves, Pine needles, trash, beverage bottles (I live on a corner lot at a busy Red Light intersection) and numerous tree limbs. The price was more than I was expecting but they did an outstanding job of cleaning the yard. It looked strange to see my yard so clean.

I had purchased a "Big Deal" package for a full housecleaning for my 2400 sq ft house in November. When I called to schedule the service I was told it was a "surface only" cleaning, not a real house cleaning for the deal (which was not mentioned in the ad when you buy it). We scheduled the appointment before Christmas because I had company coming, but Darlene had a death in the family and we rescheduled after the new year. Darlene was very nice and she worked hard and at full speed the whole time she was here. When she arrived she said that it would take about two hours and she did spend about two hours here. I would have liked her to slow down a bit and do a better job on a few things. It was hit or miss, but mostly hit. She did a great job cleaning and dusting the chairs around the dining room table, but she did not dust the chairs at the kitchen counter. She picked up the rugs in the kitchen and breakfast room to mop in there, but she mopped around the rug in the entryway. She did a good job cleaning the tub and toilet, but she didn't dust the tissue paper holder. I guess an example of the surface clean was that she dusted a shelf, but not the things on the shelf. She did do a couple extra things for me...put clean sheets on the guest beds when I asked, and she cleaned the inside of the breakfast room windows because she said that they really looked like they needed it. She was going so fast that she was a little rough with some of my stuff...banging into the furniture in the breakfast room when she was mopping around it, and pushing stuff around on the shelves to dust around them. I don't know if she slows down some and spends more time when it is a real house cleaning instead of a surface clean deal or if two hours is all she allows for each appointment and she cleans what she can how she can to get done in the two hours.

for the amount of the coupon the mulch would not cover much, so i spend additional money to cover what was needed. then i was told that the amount of mulch was not enough to cover all work areas after they initally was told the opposite. they were able to cover all areas by spreading it thin in some areas some areas of plants were trampled by workers and industrial blowers.

After the last time she cleaned my home, I couldn't find some of my personal items. I am going to look into this issue further. She didn't always put things back and sometimes showed up late. She had the audacity to offer and help me search the house to find it! Go Figure. I saw her with the garbage bag and she parked just under our security camera in the back of the garage.

I had 3 appointments scheduled do to the lawn clean up and they missed all 3. I have been attempting to get in contact with the cleaning side of ther services via phone and e-mail and I never received a response from either form of contact. I have since done the work myself and requested a refund.

I bought the Angie's List coupon and scheduled an appointment to get the house cleaned for Christmas house guests. As I had learned, this price for a once-a-year cleaning was unbeatable. If you don't get your house cleaned regularly, everybody charges you a lot more. It makes sense, but the cost can be staggering. The last time I hired someone to do a once a year cleaning, she did a fantastic job, but charged way more than $89. On the date, Darlene called and said she had overlooked another appointment and would I mind if she came a couple of hours later. It wasn't a big deal, but I had made plans, and it was a bit of an inconvenience. What was worse, and caused me to score her so low in this category, was that she was quite a bit later than the two hours she had first said. She was nice and likeable. She got right to work. She told me she washed the floor on her hands and knees, and I saw that was true. I told her the first thing on my list was the bathtub. I hate cleaning bathtubs! And since my granddaughter was coming, I wanted a clean bathtub for her. Darlene did a fantastic job on the bathtub. And, as mentioned above, I asked if she cleaned the inside of refrigerators, she said yes, and she made it look great (another job I hate). As for the rest of the cleaning, she did a good job on everything, and received a "B" grade instead of an "A" because, she overlooked a few things, such as the inside of the microwave and the tops of a few things (such as a jewelry box). I liked her and I would use her again.

I got chaged for service but did not do the work. I am still waiting after one month.

I called Darlene the next morning after making this "Big Deal" purchase in November (before Thanksgiving). I asked for her services on Friday, 7 Dec. she agreed and told me it would be the afternoon at 1pm. The week of our scheduled appointment I received an e-mail stating she could not do Friday afternoon as she had another client and could she come Saturday. I explained that would not work and that we had discussed Friday afternoon. She make arrangements and was in fact able to render services on Friday afternoon, 7 Dec as we had originally planned. I asked Darlene to call when she was enroute following her morning client. She did this and I was able to stay at work longer and meet her at the house. I asked Darlene to dust,sweep, vaccum adn mop the floors, clean the bathrooms and clean the glass on the front door. She did all these things very well. I provided the vaccum and she went right to work. Darlene was quick, thorough and pleasant to work with. I stayed near the house, but did not want to get in her way so I stayed outside tending to other activities. I have no doubt had I asked Darlene to do more she would have and would have done it flawlessly. I plan to have Darlene do this type of cleaning once a month following the holidays.

I paid $89 for a whole house cleaning. My house is about 3,600 square feet, so I felt guilty asking someone to clean the whole thing for $89. I told her to just worry about the bottom floor which is about 2,600 square feet. I told her the shower in the master bath and the tub in the kids bathroom were both clean. She did get down on her hands and knees and clean baseboards as I asked. However, she only stayed 2 hours and didn't do anything that I didn't specifically ask for. For instance, she didn't mop the floor in the laundry room. I thought that one would be obvious.... She pointed out that she only gets half of the money that I paid for the cleaning....apparently she thought she should only give half the effort.

I purchased a house cleaning service from this company per Angies List. I contacted them and set up a date and time for almost a month away. The day before my appointment , they called and wanted to change the day. I explained I was expecting out of town guests and that is why I chose that date. They told me they would reshedule other client and would be here by 1pm. At 1:30 I phoned and was told she would be here shortly and she was running late because her other client was " very talkative." She finally got to my house at 2:45. My guests had called and said they would be here in about 1 hour. I told her it was too late to clean house and I did not want to choose another date. I could have cleaned my own house instead of waiting for this service.To say the least, I do not recommend this company.

Besides being late, everything went very well.
