First contacted this company because shower was leaking. Plumber advised leak was not a plumbing problem, but due to small gaps between tiles where grout had eroded over time. Also wanted to remove some tile from kitchen wall backsplash area. On May 20, he estimated shower work at $475 and the kitchen tile removal at $125. Scheduled both jobs for first available date, which was almost a full month later. Slight inconvenience to use alternate shower, major inconvenience to put kitchen remodel work on hold for a month - but figured he must be really good, so it was worth the delay. He arrived as scheduled. I asked him to start in the kitchen to ensure the work would get done in case he ran out of time that day. He looked again, and decided he didn't want to do it - said we'd be better off just leaving the tile in place and working around it. That's fine - just wish he could have told us when he did the estimate, so we could have made alternate arrangements. (Side note - went to Lowe's, bought a Dremel rotary tool for $89 + tile cutting blade for $20, and did it ourselves.) Next, the shower - overall good work, if you're a fan of lots of caulking, which I am not - reminds me of a rental property quick fix, but that's just my opinion. He chipped one tile, and cracked another, and left some black marks in the tub, which can't be removed, so I think he might have somehow scratched through the porcelain. He did an excellent job on replacing the row of tiles. After removing the excess caulking, we're pleased with the result, but probably would not use this company again.
