WOW 1 DAY PAINTING Knoxville

So I filled out an online form from their website. Very convenient, I read all the reviews on here and was excited by what looked like a great company. The house I am having painted was my mom's and my house before she died. I am ready to sell it. When I filled out the online form, there were two places for addresses, my HOME address as well as the address of the house being painted. In this case, that is two different addresses. I made an appointment for an estimate. I called the company on the day of the estimate to confirm that they knew which address in which to show up, so there would be no confusion. The woman I spoke with mispronounced my name, making it a male name instead of female. I corrected her, to which she said "well WHOEVER made this appointment" I said I made the appointment, She then argued with me that there should be no issue because there was only one address. I told her that was incorrect there were two places for addresses on the form and I gave both as they are different. She continued to tell me I was wrong. In other words, my question which was-- to which address will your painters be showing up-- was never answered, because she was more interested in correcting me, instead of listening to what I was saying to her. I then asked to speak to a manager, she said I AM the manager, and then continued to argue with me by saying, I haven't argued with you, I am not arguing with you.... Dear Lady-- that is arguing. You just lost your company a great big sale, because you refused to back down over something stupid. Good Job. Also, even if you think you are right--- the customer is always right. Sorry WOW painters, but if your customer service cannot listen and think before speaking, then you don't get the sale.

The work was completed on time and for the price quoted. Following completion, we noticed an area that needed some touch-ups. We notified Wow and they responded immediately, sending a painter over the same day to add another coat. We are very pleased with the results and and will definitely use Wow again!

Great! They did an awesome job on bedroom and bath I had them do my kitchen. The kitchen had murals and when they were done u could not tell they had been there. Very clean and professional. Will hire them for next painting project

It went great. Ryan's guys... and girl, did a great job! They communicated very well with us and it was very impressive to hear them communicate with each other on how they plan to work each room. They seem to use each other's strengths, meaning someone may cut-in better or one may do a better job rolling. Just seemed that they all worked great together and did a great job. The supervisor was very attentive and wanted nothing more than for my wife and I to be happy with the work. I've had a not so pleasant experience with painters before, so I was a bit anxious with this being such a large project, but this was a good experience and I would totally recommend these guys and use them again! Great work!!

The entire experience went extremely well. Ryan is very friendly and exceptionally professional. He provided an estimate within an hour of surveying the house. His guys were able to start work the next Monday and due to the large amount of prep work that needed to be done, they finished up the next day. His lead man walked through the house with me and asked me to point out any spots that I noticed that needed touching up. The few spots that I did notice were immediately fixed by the guys and the lead painter even gave me his number so I could call him if I noticed anything else. The paintjob looks absolutely gorgeous and was completed within the expected timeframe for a great price. I am definitely going to use their services again when it comes time to paint the rest of the house.

Wow 1 Day Painting did an amazing job from start to finish! We have a historic house with tall ceilings and a lot of woodwork (which had been stained a reddish-brown by previous owner). Scott and his team took the woodwork to a cream color and all the walls to white in just two days' time. They went the extra mile to caulk all sorts of places in the woodwork to make it look nice. They did a great job communicating with me about their progress and when they ran into issues (always going to happen in an old house). They also were adamant about wanting me to call them to do any touch-ups (no extra charge) if needed. I was incredibly pleased to have so much of the house painted in so little time -- their model is to get the team on a job and get it knocked out all at once... no running from one job to another during the day. Ryan was very prompt in scheduling and communicating with me and checking on the progress.

It was an awesome experience from start to finish and I couldn't be more pleased with the end result. I will absolutely be using them to paint the rest of my rooms. They did a great job and cleaned up after themselves so that you couldn't even tell the room has been painted that day. I was very impressed with Ryan and was equally impressed with his team. I even learned they also paint kitchen cabinets, so I'll have them back to do that as well. I can't say enough good things about Ryan and his guys. I just know I've found my go to guys for all my painting needs, and I'll recommend them to everyone I know.

Right on time - eager to get to work - friendly and professional! Ryan and his team were so easy to communicate with and it looks fantastic! WOW even had a cancelation and they generously offered the spot to us so within a week (!) from our estimate we had our home completed - yay!

3 painters arrived on time. Neat appearance. Courteous. Patched holes. Professional and meticulous. Was able to use the brand of paint I preferred. Done in one day. Planning to use them on other interior projects. Highly recommend services.

First, we chose this company because of the work promised and sales pitch by the owner. We were excited to have our home painted the colors we wanted and done so quickly. Being 8 months pregnant, the promise to have the work done in one day (maybe 2) was what sold us on the company. The first day, we came home to a huge mess. Water stains on a chest we had, water stains and puddles of water on our toddlers play table, paint on furniture, as well as a large empty soda can under a piece of furniture, which our one year old son found and put his mouth on. No drop cloths were used, so there was paint drops on our floors, as well as whirlpool tub. Since signing off and paying $4000 for the project, it has been nothing but a headache. We found spots that weren't painted properly, some that weren't painted at all, one window was left completely unpainted and our banister was peeling paint all over. Not to mention, every day we notice something that wasn't done properly. After calling to have someone come back to fix the issues, we were cancelled on after their expected arrival time, with no notice what so ever. When they finally arrrived to fix the issues, our banister is still not fully painted and I was basically called a liar when I contacted the owner to notify him. I would never suggest this company to anyone. We were overcharged for subpar work and completely unprofessional people in our home.

Ryan Byrd, the owner, was responsive from our first contact. He promptly provided a competitive written quote and followed up the next day to see if we had any questions regarding his quote. What distinguished WOW from other painters who submitted bids was WOW's ability to get the huge job (6,000 sf) done in the least amount of time (4 days vs anywhere from 6 to 10 working days) for the same or lower price using quality paint and background-checked employees. Ryan cautioned that some of our rooms might require a third coat due to existing dark paint but he was more than reasonable in pricing for such areas. His competitors did not mention this possibility and we probably would have been unpleasantly surprised with additional charges after the fact. Scott plus his crew of 7 painters showed up on time, were respectful of our home and accommodating of our inside pets. Scott reported what they would be doing each day and then confirmed what they had done at the end of each day. Each member of the crew was very pleasant and professional. WOW also was prompt and comprehensive in terms of touch ups at the end of the project. We recommend WOW without reservation and can attest that WOW's ability to get the job done in a remarkably short period of time does not in any way diminish the superior paint job that they deliver. We will definitely hire WOW again for our future painting.
