He completed the job in less than an hour, clean and tidy, professional. He had his apprentice with him. They covered their shoes to keep my floors clean. This is second job they have done for me, three years ago they replaced the hot water heater and connected the ice maker in our refrigerator.

United Plumbing did an excellent job and substituted a part for the free flapper that came with the deal at no extra charge. They also rescheduled my appointment a couple of times. The toilet works great now. I also got s few pointers about working on toilets and some other good advice. Everything was great.

The company ended up wanting to charge more than I had thought it was going to be. I did not end up using this big deal.

It went fine. I knew I had issues – a toilet was running (which was fixed) and he checked the pressure level. He replaced the PRV valve. He fixed everything that he needed to fix so I was pleased. He's very knowledgeable.

Had the part ready in the truck to fix the pressure valve. Gave me an estimate for further work. Completed work quickly and efficiently. Nice independent, locally run business. I will call them for all my plumbing needs.

It was a really big job to take out all that old cast iron. It took a full day to complete most of the work, with a bit more on a following day. The only issue was a leaking PVC joint after installation. They came back, found a fissure in it and replaced it with a Flex Coupling, no cost. I would dock them a grade on Quality, but the issue was with the PVC and and not their work. They did quickly come back to correct the problem after notification. I would hire them again for the same work, and I will use them again.

Overall the job went well. They were punctual, courteous, and professional. The work was performed per our request. A water drip did develop under the sink from the water intake to the fixture. When I called to report the issue, they returned the same day of my call and were able to identify the source of the issue and resolve. The issue was due to the tight angle under the sink and the intake line was not making a good connection. He replaced with a different type of intake line that was able to accomdate the awkward connection and resolve the issue.

We discovered a water puddle in our garage and identified it was originating from a pinhole leak in a copper water line that delivers water into our house. I called United Plumbing and they were able to come that same afternoon. They cut the section with the leak out and replaced with a new section. All went well and the leak was repaired the same day as discovery.

It took a bit to contact them, but I trusted the Angie's List email system a bit too much and the holiday happened in the middle of it. So, once we talked, the appointment was booked within 24 hours with extremely prompt and reliable service. I trusted wayne's knowledge of plumbing and he was honest with us as to cost and urgency. Great experience!

Bought the Special on Sunday, got an email Monday morning scheduling the service for today. Said they would be here between 3 and 5. Called around 3:40 to say they were on their way. Were here around 4:00. Replaced Flapper, and inspected rest of plumbing in house, plus water heater and washer hoses. Would definitely use them in the future for any plumbing needs.

Our HW heater stopped working some time Wednesday and water was only luke warm by Thursday AM. I saw the excellent ratings for United on Angie's List so I called Wayne that evening and he agreed to come after hours on Friday so that I could be home. He arrived on time and had a kit to replace both thermostats and elements. He pumped the tank dry and had it all done in about 30 minutes. He even put in a drain line from the blow off valve on top to the ground for safety at no charge. Both he and his asssistant were very courteous and professional and offered to address any other issues/concerns we might have even though it was Friday evening after a long, hot week. I hope I don't have any major plumbing issues anytime soon but if I do I will definitely be calling Wayne. He is now our plumber. I've had many bad experiences in the past with contractors usually because I had to find them online or in the phone book if I couldn't get a personal reference. It's so nice to be able to call someone you've never used before when something like this comes up and can have the confidence that the service and work will be good, the price fair and you don't have to worry that the person that comes to your house was or will be featured on America's Most Wanted. This is the third time I've used Angie's List in the last few weeks and each experience has been great.

I called Wayne, the owner, about several plumbing issues in my home. He scheduled the work for the next day, and he and his crew arrived at the scheduled time. I had him install an irrigation system pump and associated pressure relief value in my basement. As I requested, he completed the installation so that I could isolate the pump from both the house supply and irrigation system, reducing the possibility of a pump leak in my finished basement. While he was here, he also replaced the leaking cartridges in the kitchen faucet and adjusted a single handle shower control, providing increased hot water flow to the shower head. All of the work was completed in about 2 hours and to my satisfaction. This is the third time that I have used United Plumbing. They have alway arrived at the scheduled time and have been very courteous and helpful, explaining the plumbing problem and the corrective action. Additionally, they have always treated my home with respect from putting booties on over their work shoes to fully cleaning up the mess after the job was completed.

We had a leaking bathtub faucet that had turned into a steady stream, causing our water bill to nearly double. We figured that the bathtub controls needed to be replaced. When the workers arrived and reviewed the problem, the senior worker discussed with me what would be necessary to replace the controls and gave me an estimate of $450. He then gave me an alternate of rebuilding the existing controls of $135. Needless to say, I went with Plan B. They were quick, left no mess and turned all the water back on before they left. I appreciate the forthrightness of United Plumbing's workers and will use them again in the future.

The plumber and his assistant arrived as scheduled and performed the necessary assessment and repairs quickly. They explained the problems and answered the questions I had. Quality new parts were installed. I appreciate the education and am very pleased to have fully functioning toilets aqain.

We called on Tuesday, they came out on Wednesday. We had a leak in our neighborhood pool house restroom and an issue with a urinal. They fixed both in a timely and professional manner for a cost a lot lower than we expected. We will definitely use them again.

Wayne was very knowledgeable and professional, inspecting all items concerned thoroughly, and making cost-saving suggestions and advice. He knew what he was doing, and performed the necessary work quickly, restoring everything to its proper function. He rebuilt the leaking kitchen faucet to perfect working condition, even polishing it to look like new! It is difficult these days to find a competent plumber, so I was very impressed with his workmanship and integrity. We would definitely call on him again in the future, if needed, but it looks like we may not need to for a long time, since he did the repairs right in the first place!

He could not make original appointment. His assistant came the next day. He performed flush of water heater and inspected plumbing. Said I wou need new pipes from meter throuout the house. I did not get a written estimate, but he gave a verbal estimate of $5000. Whole visit was done professionally and with great courtesy

We contacted United Plumbing Company to have them unclog our bathtub and fix a leak in the toilet tank caused by the gasket being worn. We attempted to replace the whole flush valve ourselves with no success, but Wayne was able to fix it easily, quickly and without replacing the entire thing. Our toilet is usable again. He was very professional which is always appreciated. He was also very polite and considerate. He came in the house wearing shoe covers, not something I see very often. We will be using their service again.

Service delivered was professional and proficient. Owner arrived on time and offered quick diagnoses of what the issues were and what he'd do to fix them. He was honest and left us feeling that he'd not overworked the problems, rather, he offered a few simple solutions that my husband and I could address on our own.
