I have had serveral bad experiences with individuals who overcharge for emergency services so I checked Angie's list hoping that I would have a better experiece this time. Many thanks to Wayne at United Plumbing, he answered his phone during the stated office hours and managed to work me in between scheduled work orders. He gave me a base price and agreed that if this was a simple problem as expected, that would be the charge. He arrived on time, did the work, and charged the base price. I asked a question regarding a recommendation I had been given during the cold weather and ice; because it was expensive and I had my doubts about the recommendation I had not followed-up. Wayne had a different recommendation, saving me over $2,000. I found Wayne to be professional and straight forward when talking about charges and making recommendations. He will definitely be on my speed-dial for future plumbing needs-both small and large jobs.

They did a good job, were on time and had good communication. The only negative thing was the man in charge reprimanded the other employee in front of us and it was awkward.

Recommended new toilets due to mineral build up in the line, but didn't hard sell me to purchase through him.

It turned out that the handle was loose allowing water to leak which in turn froze.

It was ok, adequate. When they got here, they did what they were supossed to do. He had to re correct. There was issues but it wasn't with the provider, it was with our plumbing, theat we had to pay for. Felt he was very honest, and did a good job.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and I was pretty happy with it. I thought their service was good. They came out the first time and then when they looked at what I had they indicated that they did not have what they needed to do the job so we ended up having to reschedule a second time so it was a little bit inconvenient. I did an upgrade to a frost-proof faucet and it more than doubled the cost. The quality of the work was very good, but I felt like the sales approach was, maybe, a little bit manipulative.

I am not expert enough to give all the details. The original United response to my call about the leak was in less than an hour, well within the promised arrival time. After stopping the leak and determining that a new water heater was needed (the old one was over 17 years old, likely over 20), United was able to deliver the new heater for installation within about 2 more hours. The heater recommended and installed was a relatively conventional gas water heater with a tank (as was the old one). In response to my questions United recommended against a far more costly tankless system that United had the capability to install. The removal and installation tasks were made more difficult because of the way the old heater was installed years ago in very cramped space, with some difficult and delicate abnormalities in the piping arrangements. The United plumber was able to figure it all out and accomplish the removal and new installation in a very reasonable time, all without any water damage or other damage to anything in my home.

Told me what the problem was and recommended someone to fix my problem. I appreciated his honesty.

They were very professional, friendly and efficient. I would/will use them again.

They came quickly. I paid a little extra however, they were quick and I was pleased with the service.

The technicians were prompt. I gathered that one technician was training another by the way they spoke to each other. I showed them the problem and they told me I needed the valves replaced. I approved the work. They were here a total of about 20 minutes and I was asked to sign the invoice before seeing the toilet work properly. That was a mistake. The problem I had was fixed, but now I have to hold the handle down 2-3 seconds with each flush, or it doesn't flush properly. I rated the price value low because that amount is the equivalent of purchasing a brand new toilet, which does not seem reasonable to me.

The work turned out really well. We were really happy with them. They were very friendly, open, and honest. We have no complaints.

Our 23 year old hot water heater finally died. We called United at 8:00am ish. They answered the call promptly and said they would be out between 10 and 12 that day. They came exactly when they promised. We were impressed by their care in covering their shoes with "booties" to protect our floors. They checked the water heater - determined it was dead - then discussed options with my husband. After agreeing what should be done, they provided an exact financial quote - which we were very pleased with. We had done some research and were very pleasantly surprised that their quote was lower than we expected. Even though we were in a bind, they did not try to take advantage. They left to get the new heater and returned less than an hour later to install. Again, their professionalism in doing all they could to protect our floors (heater was in an upstairs closet) from both their feet and the heater parts was greatly appreciated. They were very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. We are very pleased with their work and will definitely call them in the future.

They stuck to the cost of the Big Deal. They arrived on time. I had used them a separate time for water heater work on a separate Big Deal.

It was excellent. He did a great job. I called them that morning. They gave me a time between 10:30 and 12:30 and they showed up at 11:30. They were very professional. They put on booties on their feet. I was very pleased with them. I will call them again.

I contracted them to replace a leaking hose bib on the front of my home. They found that they could not, because of the way it was installed. They tried to replace the packing but could not because it is an old brand that they did not carry parts for. But they said they would look for a kit and keep me advised. I never heard from them again. I had hoped for at least a call indicating they tried to find one, even if unsuccessful. So my hose Bib still leaks.

Right on time. clean cut very professional. We had a faucet that another plumber messed up. We lived with it for years. It was a tough fix. Never gave up! Works like new now. United is now our first call plumber!

On time, determined toilet had a crack and needed to be replaced. Plumber went to supply house and picked on up. Installed the same day.

Other plumbers in town have no chance in keeping up with these guys for service and craftsmanship.

Repairing would cost $177. Replacing would cost over $440 plus dealing with wall damage. I said thanks but no thanks...it was too expensive. I had a local plumber come in who was able to completely rebuild the valve for $139.

Upon receiving my emergency call, they had a plumber at my house within 15 minutes. They pointed out that 3 other toilets had some bad fittings, preventing future leak damage. Honest, professional, and very reasonably priced!! Highly recommend!

they did excellent and complete job and went beyond the call of duty to make sure it was as I expected.

Josh did an excellent job of refurbishing an expensive kitchen sink fixture that had leaked and caused problems for some time. This saved replacement of the existing faucet. He was also able to improve flushing of 2 commodes that were planned for replacement- to the extent I would not have to spent money for other repairs at this time.
