Two Maids & A Mop

All, went well, except the bathroom baseboards were forgotten.

I was very pleased. This was my first time to use Two Maids and I wasn't sure what to expect but I feel good about what they did. Their pleasant personality added a lot to the service and I plan to use the service again. Haven't quite decided how often but I liked the way they were so efficient and had all of their own supplies.

They actually did an incredible job on these rooms. I was surprised how long it took to detail these rooms, but I do not mean by this that they were lax in any way. They worked hard and were extremely conscious of details .... the end result these rooms now sparkle. It is hard to anticipate how long it will take to do detailing of rooms so I like the fact that they have you complete a priority list of what you most desire first, second, third, etc. I wished they had had time to vacuum floors, upholstery and dust the others rooms that needed cleaning, but I am not disappointed in their work at all. By them detailing the rooms in such an excellent way, I was able to complete the rest of the tasks on my own easily. I would highly recommend this firm to others and plan to use them again in the future.

The crew arrived on time. They did all tasks in a careful and thorough manner. Notably, the crew member vacuuming my carpets used an accessory to better clean around the edge of my desk where cat hair had accumulated. This extra effort was not a requirement and I certainly appreciated it!

This review is more for their business practices than their service. I went to their website to get a quote based on a the favorable reviews they received here. I filled out the form to get a quote and provided them the information to contact me. After clicking the button to get a quote the next box said they would contact me with a quote which was fine. It also said by requesting the quote I was agreeing to receive a newsletter (I believe it was an email type newsletter). I never agreed to receive anything from them other than a quote. The lack of professionalism they showed in saying I agreed to this after I clicked a button to get a simple quote makes me doubt their ability to run a business in what I would consider and ethical manner. The correct way to handle something like this would be to have a check box on the form that I filled out to get the quote. I could have then clicked the box to not receive their newsletter. People may think this isn't a big deal, but we all get lots of spam and other unwanted email and this type of practice is simply not right. I will not be using them for services, hope they take this as an opportunity to handle quote requests in a more professional manner.

We suddenly had a need for a special cleaning the week before Christmas, and tried calling all the places in Knoxville, and this was the Only place that could work it in. They did a great job. Since then, we've set them up for regular service and they come every 2 weeks and do a thorough job, plus anything Extra that I have for them to do. I highly recommend them.

The two staff worked very hard for approximately 6 hours (with no breaks). Work was perfect. Only problem was that they tried to open a false drawer in the powder room, the drawer front broke off, and they informed us. We called the next day, and the company arranged for a repair person to correct this at no cost to us. The whole experience was very professional.

They arrived on time and provided a "premium clean." We were pleased with the results.

I've found Two Maids and a Mop cleaning service to be very professional and efficient as well as friendly. I would rate the cleaning at my house as a 9 out of 10 and will definitely request the service again. The cleaners are very well presented and friendly, yet professional and maintain a well-timed schedule to achieve the results I ask for in a timely manner. I would recommend Two Maids and a Mop to my friends.

Went fairly well. The girls came in and went right to work. They try to get the job finished as quickly as possible. There were a couple areas that they missed and I had to go back after them and do them myself. It seems that almost always happens.

The service was/is the best! The crews are terrific! I have used other cleaning services in this area and these are by far the best! Thank you!

This is the 4th time I have used Two Maids and a Mop. At first the service was great. With each succeeding visit, their time here grows shorter and shorter and they miss quite a lot of things. This past visit they only dusted in the combined living/dining rooms where I was actually sitting. I had to remind them to clean the ceiling fans and the dust from them was left on the floor and beds. The appliances were not wiped down well and the kitchen counter was not cleaned well. It is no wonder they were "finished" so quickly this time. If the service does not go back to the level that it was in the beginning, I will not be continuing with them. I am disabled and cannot do the work myself which is why I contacted them in the first place.

They arrive on time, are friendly and courteous, and do an excellent job every single time. We have tried 3 other cleaning services before who just weren't very diligent in doing the work, sometimes even forgetting to do a room at all. 2 Maids and A Mop does it right every single time.

The girls were at my home when they said they would be, actually a little early. They were very friendly and professional. If that's what I paid for, I'd be a happy customer. As for the job of a top to bottom deep clean, I was extremely disappointed. Rachel seemed to be very good but the other half of the team, not so much. The cleaning package I purchased does not have a time limit. However, it seemed as if they ran out of time and left without finishing. When they finished upstairs and I inspected their work, I had them re-do the light bars in the bathrooms. We had stripped wallpaper and there were water streaks that they completely missed. I have a wall mounted two-sided mirror and they only cleaned one side. They didn't dust everything in the Master Bedroom which I didn't see on first inspection. That's basic cleaning, I didn't even imagine I needed to check that. Two bedrooms and a bath are not used and I don't have knick knacks so I don't know why they missed things in the master. Their vacuum wasn't working so they used mine. Otherwise, they did a real good job on the floors. Downstairs to the kitchen: the biggest disappointment for me. My daughter tells me all the time that my idea of clean is different than most. Having said that, the stainless appliances had streaks, the knob panel on the stove was streaked and they didn't touch the range hood. Again, that's basic cleaning. I have a small dresser for mail, keys, purse etc. that wasn't touched. When I reported this in the survey they send after the service, it was insinuated that it was somehow my fault for not inspecting their work. The offer was made for someone from management to come and inspect and re-clean and I accepted at first. I took the day off work for them to clean the first time and I couldn't take another day so I'd have to leave a key. After thinking about that, I was not willing to let total strangers in my home without being there. They did offer a $30.00 discount on my next cleaning...like that's going to happen. I would not, in good conscience, recommend Two Maids and A Mop.

The two ladies that came were courteous, professional and polite. They arrived on time and immediately went to work. I never saw them stop moving once and they were the hardest workers I have ever seen. They were definitely dedicated to doing a superior job. Their work was so good that I have decided to initiate a bi-weekly service on a permanent basis with them. I am so glad that I found them on Angie's List and am happy to provide this positive reference for them.

We have used this service for about 6 months so far and without exception they have great service. They are timely, EXTREMELY professional and consistent. I can depend on them completely. I much rather have this great service than to hire an individual to take of my home. This is the only way to go. No headaches or hassles what so ever!

The team of two showed up during the allotted time. They dusted, mopped, cleaned bathrooms and the kitchen. This was my second cleaning with this company. I am very pleased with the service. My floors haven't looked this clean in years. They also dusted off open rafters in my bedroom in the previous clean. This has never been done. I'm breathing easier.

Did a good job. A few things were moved around and my husband and I had to search around for them, but that wasn't a big deal.

Overall, they did a good job though they seemed to be more hurried this time than they usually are.

This was probably the best cleaning since the initial deep clean visit. Much better attention to detail. Still not so hot on punctuality, said they'd be there at 8a and arrived @ 9:15 or so.... but spent much longer doing a more thorough job. I could TELL the house had been cleaned when I got home late that evening. If they keep up this performance, they'll be headed to A+ rating from me! Courteous, professional ladies, not afraid to ask questions, committed to doing a good job. I would definitely recommend them, plus they get an extra point for traveling way out to the country to clean our house. Very trustworthy.

I have nothing but great things to say about this company. My house was dreadfully dirty, to the point that instead of two cleaners for approximately two hours, it took them three cleaners and almost five hours to get it all done. Despite this, they refused to charge me more than the initial quote ($195 . . . I tipped $60 and would have tipped more if I had more cash on me!) and were unfailingly pleasant even as the day wore on. My house is cleaner than it's been in ages, and it's such a relief. I plan to begin regular bi-monthly services shortly and am delighted to support this company. They did a very good job, especially considering what they had to work with (a very dirty house!).

I have amended the above review. In subsequent cleanings, the ladies spent less and less time cleaning and left earlier and earlier and the job they left behind reflected it. The last time, they weren't even here an hour. The house had barely been touched when I inspected it right after they left. I fired the company and am using a private person now and am much more satisfied.

They were on time, adapted to our schedule as we called the day before and they scheduled the cleaning for the next day, very efficient and professional.

This is the third time I have used this company's services. I was given an arrival time with an hour's window for their arrival. They arrived during the last 15 minutes of that time frame. They quickly got to work. They basically did a good job cleaning most areas though I did notice some things that were not very thoroughly dusted while other things were dusted fairly thoroughly while other things are not dusted at all. In their defense, I have a lot of "stuff" that has to be dusted. A couple of items were broken but I should be able to super-glue them back together. I think breaking something made them a little nervous about breaking something else. I expected that it would take several cleanings to get everything so given the amount of time they are here I have been fairly pleased overall.
