The work was very thorough. Explained why the problem occurred, and made some recommendations to change some things so that the problem does not occur again. Was on time, and was very professional. I would use him again.

I was a little nervous, you hear so many horror stories. These guys were great, Bryan (the owner), contacted me quickly and arranged time to come over. They really put me at ease, and explained everything in detail. They had all the parts, tools and anything else they needed. The faucet is beautiful, but its also heavy duty, much better than the crap you get at Lowe's or Home Depot. They installed the hand bidet quickly, looks great. I was impressed that they knew what a hand bidet was. They fixed the bathroom sink leak and even took care of the pop up drain thing. Bryan's prices where spot on, exactly what I thought it would cost, and I feel like I got a lot of value for my money. They will be back in the spring/summer to replace a pressure relief valve at the meter. I highly recommend, The Plumbing Authority, and I'm not easily pleased, but they hit it right out if the ballpark. Five stars, all the way.

These guys were great. They were able to get to our job quickly and were very courteous and informative. We already knew the problem area. We showed them the problem and they fixed the crappy work the previous plumber did before we bought our house. I will definitely use these guys for all my plumbing needs. Also, their price was half of another plumber my home warranty recommended.

We had The Plumbing Authority take on two projects: one was to remove and replace a Shower/tub unit and reroute drain lines. The second project was to install a whole-house reverse osmosis water system. The previous home owner had installed a whole-house water filter and water softener after the home was built and for some bizarre reason had routed the drains for these items into the adjoining bathroom's tub. He drilled two holes through the side of the tub and routed two black rubber hoses into the tub thereby ruining the tube and making it unusable. This fix was obviously not up to code. We had the Plumbing Authority remove the damaged shower/tub enclosure and on their recommendation install the new unit with the plumbing fixtures flipped from the right side of the unit to the left side. This made access to the shower far easier. They also rerouted the drain lines under the shower/tub enclosure where they should have been from the start. We also had The Plumbing Authority install a whole-house reverse osmosis (RO) water system. The Plumbing Authority was the only plumber from whom we received estimates that would permit us to purchase the RO system components ourselves rather than being forced to accept whatever the plumbers would supply. Working with Bryan Dotson was great. I learned a lot and he saved me from making some expensive mistakes. The installation of the RO system was complex but Bryan was able to incorporate everything I asked for and the finished work was very professional done.

Removed commode and ran camera and supposedly cleared the pipe. The pipe again stopped up six days later. We called they refused to come back out , were very rude unprofessional. I will never do business with them again or use Angie's list, I regret joining and using Angie's list if this is a sample of businesses recommended

Contacted Brian through Angie's List. Brian called me promptly, we discussed the problem, and Brian provided a time frame in which he could meet me to inspect the problem. Brian showed up when he said he would, and fixed the problem that day at a fair price.

My pipes in my house were becoming clogged. Several sinks and toilets were making gurgling noises and a bubbling noise. Called the PA and they assessed it to be my drainage pipe is clogged over the phone, but would have to check it out. Once he arrived, he listened to the problem (Which at this point was at a constant gurgling) and checked some of the pipes in the crawlspace to see where they led. Once he assessed the actual problem, he discussed our options and prices. He was able to provide a service to snake out our pipe without a camera for about $300 and with a camera for about, we opted for a camera to see the issue. He spent about 1.5 hours working on the problem. During the time of fixing the issue, his assistant came in the house several times and was very respectful (put on covers for his shoe and was extremely polite) and ran the water to make sure the pipe was cleaned. Once completed we reviewed the problem on the video, which was roots in my sewage drain, in my 100 yr old house. I was very pleased with his performance and he also gave me solutions to help fix the entire problem. In addition, he gave the extreme bill of 2500 to replace the old clay pipes which is susceptible to root problems. And a lower priced solution of replacing a 3-5ft section for 700 dollars. I would use these guys again and trust his judgement.

Brian came out quickly, went over all my problems with me, made an appointment to come back two days later after I had purchased a bathroom faucet and did all the work. He was efficient, professional and courteous. Everything was done to my satisfaction.

Bryan was very informative & neat with his work. He was very careful to clean everything when finished. Arrive within an hour of call which was a rush job. If you need help call Bryan.

Overall, it was a good experience. They were able to make it to the house quickly and showed up at the time they said they would. It was a complicated job, as our plumbing has some quirks to it. But they seemed knowledgeable about plumbing--even the younger assistant seemed like he really knew his stuff. And they were adaptable--reconfiguring a tip for their pipe snake on the fly to deal with the clog. It took a while but they were working hard the whole time--I didn't feel like they were drawing anything out to increase the labor costs. They also did a good job explaining what the problem was, something that dovetailed with other things I knew about our plumbing, so I know it was reliable. I would definitely use them again.

Dealing with the Plumbing Authority was great. Very responsive, very easy to talk to. I could not have found a harder working more knowledgeable vendor to handle the problem. They worked as hard towards the end of the job as they did at the start and did not stop until the everything was working properly. I would HIGHLY recommend them.

I was very happy with the work that he did. He was very professional. We had a large dog in the house and he was really good with that. My son equally liked him. It was a little more frustrating because they had to work through an insurance company but my understanding is that the guy was really willing to do that and was very patient while they got that worked out.

i first had an experience with him when i had 2/10 homebuyers' warranty. It was who they sent out for me. Everytime I called him, he was professional, on time, courteous, and the last time i called him, he helped me fix it on my own for free (i no longer have the homebuyers warranty). I think he is honest and I will continue to call on him as the need arises in the future.

Free estimate. Set start time and was here on time. Put in new indoor lines without shutting off water. trenched with out excessive digging. very little mud. Water was only off for a short time. Work was done with very little impact on my life. So nice to have flowing water.

WE WE HAD AN "EMERGENCY CALL" FOR HELP...AND...IT WAS ON A "SATURDAY ABOUT 4PM"! OUR TOILETS WOULD NOT FLUSH AND SEWER PIPES CLOGGED UP. MY HUSBAND WORKED SEVERAL HOURS TRYING TO UNCLOG THE TOILETS AND CHECKED OUR SEPTIC TANK...AND OUR SEPTIC TANK WAS NOT FULL...BUT "NOTHING WAS DRAINING OUT" OF THE SEWER PIPE INTO THE SEPTIC!! I FOUND HIS AD LISTED THRU "ANGIE'S LIST" AND "BBB"...HE CAME RIGHT OUT ON SAT. ABOUT 4PM. HE "SNAKED" THE PIPES FOR "SEVERAL HOURS" TO GET THE PIPES UNCLOGGED. THE SEWER PIPES WERE CLOGGED UP BAD!! WE WERE "VERY IMPRESSED" WITH BRYAN. HE WORKED HARD OUTSIDE IN THE DARK AND KEPT AT IT UNTIL...WE COULD FLUSH OUR TOILETS AND THE DRAINS WORKED AGAIN!! WE KEPT HIS BUS. CARD AND WILL ABSOLUTELY CALL BRYAN AGAIN FOR "ANY PLUMBING" PROBLEMS IN THE FUTURE. HE IS A HARD WORKING AND HONEST PLUMBER. WE "HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM".

He is very expensive and he uses the high school kids to do most of the plumbing. So I would really not recommend him and I would not use him again.

Responsive. Answered my call and made appointment for the next day or two. Wasn't afraid to cut into the wall and get the job done like a different plumbing company I called. This was their second job for me and I will use them again. The house is 120 years old and the other job they fixed was also a leaking waterline and reset a toilet.

It went fine. He was very clean and polite. He now calls himself the Plumbing Authority.

asked provider to repair outdoor faucet drip. charged $170 for his work but faucet leaks now worse than before his repair. he called and said there was "cupping" within interior wall pipe connection and he would send a bid to fix "from inside out" of basement bedroom. this was probably 2 weeks ago. Have not received his bid. feel that this was a total waste of my money

Bryan is the owner of The Plumbing Authority and as soon as we called his business number he promptly answered the call. He was very patient as he listened to my husband give a long description of our situation. Bryan was not only patient, but we also noticed his very professional manner. He arrived on the same day of our call to him as he understood our dire situation. He explained what the problem was and he assured us that he could repair within the day. He used his tools to unplug our sewer drain.

Bryan came out to do the first repairs that I needed complete. We have only been in this home about a year and had a contractor do remodeling and his plumber completely re-plumbed the house and installed a new bathroom. Although the job was o.k. it wasn't great and we knew we would not use them again. We joined Angie's list and have now found a new plumber. As he repaired what should have lasted longer than a year, I was so impressed with his knowledge and how he worked, I talked to him about the next task on the list...a new water heater. We set everything up, he ordered and had everything delivered to his warehouse to bring, and gave me a date and time. This time two of his guys showed up, and they could not have been nicer and began to tackle the task. They worked quickly and without any mess, which is something as the water heater is in a not so great basement of a 1930's cottage, they took the old one out and put the new one in and all I had to do was be here. It was a very easy process! They will be out to complete more work for me soon.
