The serviceman arrived promptly. He was careful to introduce himself and displayed his name and company name on his uniform and truck. He assessed the problem and efficiently completed the work. Everything was done to our satisfaction. This company does what is requested and charges fairly for the work. I will definitely use them again.

My new electric range was delivered on Monday before Christmas but the electrical wire/cord was not attached. The delivery person explain that is not part of their service. I needed the range operational for baking and cooking Christmas dinner, cookies, etc. I called Pat Murphy Electrical and they sent someone out the next day. The job was done quickly and professionally. I appreciated the prompt response. I would definitely use them again.

I contacted Pat Murphy Electric on Monday to come our an investigate a problem. They were able to send a tech out Wednesday morning. Rick Hoeg showed up & we started discussing the problems I was having. He was very thorough & looked at all the obvious things outside of the house first & did not notice anything glaring. Next step was to investigate the panel inside my garage & try to troubleshoot. Before Rick started he informed me what the charges would be, this is where we had an issue. The office that scheduled the appointment told me it was $30 to have a tech come out when in actuality it is a $110 an hour. Obviously this shocked me & Rick informed me this was not the first time this mistake had happened. It is $30 for them to do a quote which is then included if you have them do the work. Understandably I was a little hesitant having Rick start investigating until I exhausted all the options with my power company (I truly believed it was an issue on the power company's end from the get go, but felt I needed to hire an electrician to prove my thinking). Regardless Rick stood by & pointed out several issues that may be happening. He told me to call the power company back & demand they do a few additional things before he started. As of today Friday all of the issues have subsided because of what Rick suspected he thought was happening. I am grateful for Rick expertise & being an honest guy. You rarely find companies that will be honest & upfront before milking you for all the money you have. In the future if I ever have an electrical issue Pat Murphy Inc will be the first company I call. Hopefully Rick will still be there because I will specifically ask for him. Thank you very much Rick.

I bought a new dishwasher. Upon installation the dishwasher installer said he could not proceed because I didn't have a dedicated 20amp electrical line. So I hired Pat Murphy Electrical. When they arrived, they said they had never heard of such a thing, but they did an excellent job with the electrical installation.

This is our 3rd time using this electric company. Every time the work has been completed to our expectations, they were neat and clean, and they were professional. We've had a different electrician each time and had good experiences with each. On one job, they actually were not able to make it on the day of the appointment; however, to their credit, we were contacted when it became clear the appointment time was going to be missed, apologized, set up a new appointment and gave us a 10% discount for the inconvenience. This most recent job was the biggest one to date. The work took most of the day with two electricians working 4 hours and one for 3 hours. We were pleased with the final result, plus they even took all the boxes and old fixtures with them as an added bonus!

All of my wiring issues were resolved. All my outlets are working now,(we didn't have and outlets that worked on the back side of the house). Mike did a great job and in a reasonable amount of time. Called Pat Murphy Electric Inc. this morning to schedule a return visit for some work that was not completed on my kitchen remodel by the previous contractor.

The heavy rain storm caused water to flow into our outside outlet and blow the GFCI. I called this morning for service and the service man was here less than 3 hours later. Ric, the service man, advised me on installing a new bubble cover that allows the cover to totally close and the power cords route from the bottom of the cover. He also taped the wires to further protect against rain intrusion. Ric made sure to match up the color of the outlet so it matched the other outlets on the porch. I didn't even think of this. I'm glad Ric was doing the work.

Mike from Pat Murphy came out and installed a new load center as well as some other smaller electrical fixes. Was at the job on time and worked hard all day. I don't think I even saw him take a break. The installation looks great and was well labeled. Would definitely use them again for any electrical service.

Went great, the breaker tripped again, they came out free of charge, it was due to an overload from construction machinery, they found and flipped the right breaker and it was fixed again. Great service.

I called kevin at 830 to check and see why he had not called me at 830 like his boss said he would. I was interested in getting a sooner service than between 9-12 noon because this was my only day off this week. I also indicated that contractors usually call the day before to confirm appointments that day OR they call the day of the appointment to make sure customer is home and they are ok with the general time frame of the appointment-in this case a wider time frame than I am used to. The secretary said they only give you a 30 minute warning before they come out. So since I could not narrow the time of service down I told kevin to cancel the service. he opined he would come out soon as he could but I declined. I feel that punctuality, responsiveness and professionalism is not excellent as indicated on previous experiences. And I advise that if they cannot give you a more narrow time frame than three hours, when requested, especially if you call like a week in advance, that this should be reviewed with management. accordingly, I asked the secretary to have the boss call me to talk about the responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism. she said she would.

I scheduled appointment with Kevin who was responsive and easy to contact. Keith arrived as scheduled and was fantastic. He took the time to discuss with me exactly what I wanted and then did an excellent job. I'm particular and I was 100% pleased with the work that Keith did. I highly recommend Pat Murphy Electric.

We had previously used another electrician to update outlets and to add additional outlets and ceiling lights and to find why one room kept shorting out, and they gave the shorting out issue a lot of talk but never showed any interest in methodically tracing it. In fact, they re-wired a portion of the house to solve it, but that did not solve the problem. After spending way too much time and money, I gave up and did more research and am thrilled with the attitude and work ethics of the Pat Murphy electrician, John Rector, who left at the end of the day with the electricity in the room that keeps shorting out "on again", and he left their work ticket open because they would not ask for payment until the issue was fully resolved. They asked me to let them know when the power goes off again, even if it is a year later. It was about 1 week later when the upstairs room lost its power again on a Friday afternoon. And the same electrician arrived first thing Monday morning, and because he had previously done changes to help isolate areas that could be shorting the power to that room, he fairly quickly found the problem was a wall switch that had been improperly wired for use with wall outlets by the previously-hired electricians. Now I want our entire house inspected for other wiring issues and these are the guys to do it! I trust them to be thorough and professional, and their price was reasonable for what they had to do.

I requested a quite about three weeks ago. Kevin, a manager, arrived on time. He seemed knowledgable and friendly. I liked his recommendations, however after repeated phone calls for a quote I have received no return calls or follow up from the company. Quite disappointed.

Came out quickly. 2 men. took 1.5 hours. Explained everything and answered our questions concerning options to light the driveway. Very nice. Will use them again.

I sent a provider contact request via Angie's List on 12/17. I received no response and followed up with a second inquiry via Angie's list on 12/19, I also called the office phone on 12/19 and spoke with a woman who assured me that a manager would call. I have not heard from them. I was not requesting emergency service and did not expect an instantaneous response. Three days seems to be ample time for a routine response. I am not impressed with their potential customer service. Since the problem has nothing to do with technical services, I still might consider using them if they have a plausible explanation for their lapse.

This provider is highly professional, did the job well, and met all our expectations. The price is reasonable and low compared to other service providers we had. We are very happy to have called this provider for our electrical problems. Would use them again if needed.

Moved sconces. Replaced chandelier. & were innovative in making it work the way I wanted it. Very professional

Keith was very professional, thoughtful, knowledgeable and courteous. He organized his work around my leaving to obtain the sconces and dimmer-switch. I realized I could trust him in my home during my absence. I will be contacting Pat Murphy Electric tomorrow for additional work I need done...and I'll ask for Keith.

Excellent! He got there a day ahead of time and quickly and efficiently went to work tracking down the source. He was professional and completed the job in a timely manner. We had used Pat Murphy Electric a year ago for hanging some light fixtures and they did such a great job that we immediately thought of them for this problem. I would highly recommend them for any electrical problem.

Work went well as were the results. Mike had to come back the next day with a bigger ladder to get up three stories. He called the next day and came early to beat some expected rain. Terrific. I will call Pat Murphy for future electrical work.

Everything went well. Took two workers about 3 hours to complete. Found where lines were cut. Were able to dig down and repair lines.

His attitude and skills were above reproach and while the price was a little high, he finished a rather complicated job in under four hours. I intend to use this outfit for all electrical needs in the future. Definitely an A+ all around.

Excellent work! Great service. Based on the time spent to complete the work, we felt the cost was very reasonable.

I was not there but my husband was happy with the work. No problems after some time. We do not need any more service from an Electric company. I do not remember what the cost was and the date is aproximate .

Kevin very professional and courteous, I know it wont be cheap for the service we needed because of the distance where the Hot tub and the Main box was located. it was a big job. Kevin visited the site, He made me aware it will be costly but, made me as sure that he will do his best to cut the cost down. his a man of his word. He cost it out and being Angie's List member he gave us 10% off the total bill. All in it cost us $ 1545.00. Its a lot of money but they have to place a new circuit and box panel for the Hot tub alone. The technician was very nice and professional and they do above and beyond the job needed to be done.
