My Professional Plumber

We had called to use the big deal special because we had a funny noise in the water line. It turns out that we had to replace the pressure valve. They were fine. They seemed to know what they were doing. We called for a reason and they found another reason and then he found the problem. I had asked him to do something. First of all there was some insulation around the pipe. I went under and checked it and told him he needed to put some insulation back around the pipe. He said he already did. I was under there, I'm a do-it-yourselfer and I was having a problem with my knee. I didn't particularly feel like doing it. He said he did and I said never mind I'll do it, so I went and got a piece of insulation and put it around the pipe and then he told my husband that he would do it if she wants me too. He went by the book price. I have no idea for pricing for something like that would be.

Mr. Foster has proven to be very responsive to service requests and has always been dependable. He answers phone calls promptly and shows up on time. If there was a superior rating category we would apply it to his service and company. He always goes "the extra mile" in providing his services for his customers. They were prompt and did a good job.

I called about my toilet leaking and bathroom sink. Jamie checked the toilet and found it just needed a screw tighten and he replaced the sink waste assembley. This is the second time I have used My Plumber and will use Jamie again he has always responded very promptly and this time he even came out on Christmas Eve.

On Friday we noticed that we were only getting luke warm water from our 15 year old hot water heater so I called Jamie at My Professional Plumber. I had to leave a message but Jamie called me back within 30 min. and was at the house within a couple of hours. Originally, we wanted to replace our hot water heater with a tankless unit. After Jamie checked-out the location of the hot water heater, vent and gas lines it would have ended up being a very costly heater (we are a middle condo unit) and he said if it were his he would install a regular hot water heater. Of course with the cost difference that was the direction I was going as well. The next day Saturday, Mark the technician came on time and feet covered. Mark did a great job was friendly and professional. Mark also took the time to show us how to flush the unit and how often to do it something we had failed to do with the last hot water heater we had. We would definitely us My Professional Plumber" again.

We purchased a $29 diagnostic service through Angie's List to look at an issue with our tub. They evaluated several plumbing items in the house as part of the service call. The faucet that had an issue was replaced (approximately a $220 repair charge, which seemed a little bit high given that the "service call" to get out was covered). But, they were very prompt in getting here, came when they said they would, and performed the service quickly and efficiently. They did not "push" other services, and were generally friendly.

Great company with up front pricing and good employees.

They had to do a major plumbing job. They did a very good job. We had a leaking outdoor faucet. He had to work 6 hours to do this job. He charged the flat rate. He was polite and patient. He did a great job.

He was very prompt and communicated effectively. I am considering using them for the service.

They did the work and did a fine job. The price was high but the results were fine. They were on time and professional. They did have to return again to replace the distributer valve at no additional charge. It has not been a problem since. They later returned because of a drip in one of the faucets. They did not charge me for that service either. I will use them again.

He showed up on time. However, My daughter works for the gas company and thought the work could have been done differently in terms of the piping and the placement. I have a good size hole in the ceiling and floor that he did not address. It works okay but I do not like where it placed. I am not real satisfied with the service. My daughter requested he call her but he did not respond.

He spent some time explaining how to keep my drains clean. He explained what to use and what not to use. The experience was really good. He was very educational.

Jamie is wonderful! They wear booties over their shoes to protect our floors. They clean up well. Jamie is very personable and I would highly recommend their services.

I purchased a $29 coupon that was essentially worthless. ANY company will come out and give FREE estimates for plumbing repair. The coupon did nothing. Don't buy the word "diagnostic" because it only means what others will do for free. I was shown a "rate" chart for services which seemed exorbitant. I finally bought the spill and gave in to have the toilet work done. I was given a lengthy lecture about all the "costs" involved and how much overhead the company had and the level of professionalism I was being given. All the while other companies were being criticized for their "overcharging" and work being provided by technicians. I am usually pretty savvy to this kind of presentation, but this time I bought it hook, line and sinker. Later that day, I visited Gray Hodges to purchase a replacement kitchen faucet and incidentally relayed the story to several "plumbers" and others in the plumbing business. I was given what the competitive rates should have been. Uniformly, I was advised that the fees should have been approximately half what I paid.

Arrived on time, performed repairs with no difficulty, was very polite & professional.

The whole experience went well. We were surprised to find a plumber on Friday night after hours who would respond to our request for help in fixing our leak. We were very please with this company.

My plumber (James) was on time. Originally came to do work for another co. that I had hired to remodel my kitchen but I asked if he could do something about my commode running & they stayed to fix it. Went the extra mile.

He gives a clear and concise review of the problem, reviews your options and takes your budgetary concerns into consideration. I have always highly recommended him and will continue to do so!
