The plumber arrived on time, determined what the problem was, and called for approval to continue. The cost of materials was not mentioned, but I recently did the same job to a water closet in my own home and the materials were less than $30.00. The time it took me to do the replacement was approximately 30 minutes. Since I do not live in Knoxville, TN, I was over a barrel to get this job done, but I do think that the cost of this service by this company was exorbitant, despite their claims to be competitive.

These folks are almost too professional with their booties and super clean uniforms. Seemed more to impress than provide service. They didn't want to snake the drain, but wanted to replace all thirteen feet of galvanized drain pipe from the sink to the cast iron drain line. Their price to snake the drain was $226.00. Outrageous!

My Professional Plumber responded within 24 hours and had someone onsite just following this time frame to troubleshoot the problem. Both the scheduler and onsite plumber were very polite and professional. The pump was 15 years old and was the logical problem. Timeliness was critical for us since we were going on vacation within the 48 hours. The pump was ordered on the same day as the diagnosis was performed and installed less than 24 hours later. The price was a flat rate of $950 with a 3 year labor/parts guarantee. Awesome plumber!

We have used My Plumber many times. We have an old house and have been upgrading since we purchased. Jamie at My Plumber has done all the plumbing work. He will always return calls and always show up right on time. He has installed our whole house filtration system and replaced all lead pipes. Recently we hired him to install a tankless water system. His right hand man Mark showed up right on time and installed the system and rerouted some drain lines. They are very knowledgeable in their field. They have set price lists, so there are no suprises. They clean up after every job. They keep you in the loop on the repairs or upgrades. We have used them about 6 times for various projects and 3-4 times for small repairs. I have recommended them to neighbors. We will definitely use them for anything plumbing or gas needs.

I live in Virginia but own a rental house in Knoxville, TN. My tenant contacted me on August 27th to say the kitchen sink had a leak underneath the counter. The next morning I called the previous plumber I had used for work at this rental property. They could not tell me when they would be available to come look at it. Tenants were leaving on August 29th and would not be back for a week or more. So I got on Angie's List to search for another plumber. I called James Foster and spoke with him about the problem. He assured me he could get to the house later on that morning. He arrived before lunch and called me with an estimate of what it would cost to fix the problem. I was very pleased with his professionalism and his willingness to help us out on such short notice. The price was reasonable and I will contact him first on any future plumbing issues. Great service is hard to come by, but he definitely gave it his best!

My Plumber is AWESOME! Not something I ever thought I would saw about a plumbing company, but the earned it. Jonathan the plumber who came to our home was very timely, intelligent, well versed in plumbing issues, and fixed problem efficiently. It is refreshing to work with professionals that take there job and customer service seriously. I highly recommend them and will use again in the future :)

All work was done to my satisfaction. The entire job took a little more time than ordinary because plumbers had to leave the site to buy parts to complete the repairs.

Jamie came out on one of the 30 minute diagnostic calls to evaluate some rusty galvanized pluming in my house, installed when the house was built in 1946, and some sketchy leaky DIY copper fittings probably put in by previous homeowner. Addressing these deteriorating pipes has been on my "to do" list for years now and the 30 minute diagnostic call coupon was a good opportunity to get the ball rolling. He identified several problem spots including black iron piping that was used in a portion of the lines going to and from the hot water heater. Gave us a fair estimate for replacing galvanized piping and poor fittings with PEX piping based on a list of U.S. Standard Plumbing Prices, a list of typical plumbing jobs and average costs, that I understand they utilize to price their jobs. The benefit of this standard pricing is that it eliminates some of the "nickle and dime" cost increases that some contractors might use as a method to increase their bill once they get job under contract. Jaime's plumbers showed up early. They worked all day and did a great job with the plumbing installation. They worked clean and wanted to make sure that I was completely satisfied with the work before accepting payment. In the process of the install they took out more of the problem copper than we had discussed which was a nice surprise. Mark, the plumber who completed the install, wanted to make sure any problems spots were addressed while they were there. They also replaced an outside hose run and installed a pressure reducing valve. They were able to contract an electrician to ground the home to a grounding rod (our home was previously grounded to the galvanized piping) for a nominal fee. We are very happy with the service and the quality of work. Jamie's professionalism and that of his technicians gave me confidence that the job would be done well and they would stand behind their work. We're very pleased now that the quality of our water has improved since deteriorating galvanized piping can lead to off tastes/materials in the water, leaks, and water pressure problems. I will call Jamie again for any plumbing issues that arise in the future.

My Professional Plumber made 2 service visits. I was very happy with the plumbing services. I had a toilet problem and just happened to get an Angie's List email promotion for plumbing inspection by My Professional Plumber at a discounted rate. I'm so glad I called the owner Mr Jamie Foster. He sent Mr. Mark Harper who did the inspection and found the water heater leaking. He showed me the leak. I knew the heater was very old and I wanted a tankless model. I decided on the Navien heater. I got a 15% discount off the price. When Mark took out the old water heater there was a complete split of the metal seam in the back. Mark said it was ready "to blow" at any time. This heater was in my attic right above my bedroom. I feel much safer now with the new Navien heater and I am going to have My Professional Plumber do yearly inspections.

They were very professional in appearance (arrived in company logo'ed vehicle & shirts). They had pleasant attitudes. They put on protective booties over their shoes with out me asking them to and I even told them it was not necessary but they indicated it was their policy just in case. Once they completed the diagnoses of the problem they gave me the option to have them repair it as well as they showed me their no haggle price list for the services which included parts and labor. They had to go get the parts from a supplier, returned and completed the job all within about 2 hours. Retested their repair work to confirm problem solved. It did not go very well. We actually asked them to come back and give us an estimate on something else and they didn't even do that. They just wanted to sell us a plumbing service contract. They just walked through the house. We paid them upfront for the deal, but they didn't do any service when they came. The deal wasn't what it stated and when they did come out the guy couldn't even give us an estimate. It felt like a bait and switch to me. The guy was polite and professional. They didn't do what they said they were going to do.

Well, both Jamie and Mark were very professional and informative. They are having a problem with the pressure and flow of water after installing a new pressure adjustment valve. They had to return because of a faulty valve, but Mark and his assistant worked very hard to correct the situation. I haven't called back yet but I am still having water pressure problems in one bathroom and also the toilet they worked on is having a problem again. This is not a negative review. I would hire them again for their professionalism. I felt like the prices were a little high, but I haven't really checked with other plumbers in the Knoxville area and chose them based on Angie's list and references. Hopefully, the problems can be corrected. After a return by Jamie everything is working fine. I would highly recommend this plumber to anyone.

Jamie was a very pleasant worker. Had a great repertoire of jokes! He diagnosed the problems, explained the reasons for the problems and gave me options for repairs. He worked quickly and efficiently. A very good experience.

Outstanding communication and service. Jamie called an hour before to confirm the time. Mark arrived as scheduled and thoroughly explained what he would be doing. He was very informative during the process and took the time and care to make sure the water heater was installed properly and the kitchen drain was draining. We have talked with several plumbers about how to bring in a gas line for cooking, all of whom just discouraged it or only gave one option. My Plumber (Jamie) was doing some other work for us (also completed to our satisfaction) and we talked to him about this job. He listened to our concerns, considered different options, and ultimately gave us confidence in the option we chose. He was very prompt, professional, and was flexible when the delivery of the stove was delayed. He left to take care of other business and returned as soon as he could to connect the stove as promised. His price was at the low end of the range he estimated. Thanks so much Jamie! Father's Day weekend water from an unknown source had buckled our kitchen floor and seeped through hardwood floor, flooding the basement. Initial contact was disappointing as there was no response to telephone or email all day in spite of listing daily service and a member's report of excellent service on an Easter Morning. However, when I did make telephone contact on Monday it was as if My Professional Plumber was anticipating my call and immediately knew my address despite no previous contact. Master plumber Mark appeared before noon as promised and proceeded to systematically assess whole house, basement, and roof while all along communicating very clearly with me what he was thinking. At first he concluded that there must be a roof leak but soon changed his mind because of the location of the water damage away from basement piping leading to the roof vents. Finally he checked out the dishwasher which proved to be the culprit. While doing all the work listed above he was very communicative complete with a number of incidental observations very useful to an attentive homeowner. Pricing was reasonable and entirely transparent; Mark insisted that I be 100% satisfied before he left and I was.

I think this plumber is great and very knowledgeable. I like this plumber, he works really close with you and I felt like he was trying his hardest to keep my cost down. His pricing was fair and plumbers are fairly expensive and he was really working hard to keep my cost down.

We have an 87 year old house and when we moved in it needed several updates. I found Jamie on Angies list. As I said above, over a 5 month period he has done all of our work in the plumbing area. He is very professional and explains everything he does and why. He also has great follow up support. Most of the many jobs he did are listed above. I would definitely recommend My Professional Plumber to anyone. His pricing is all spelled out on agreement forms.

They found other problems and fixed those as well when they were here. They did excellent work. He is a certified master plumber. He is very prompt and easy to work with. The end product was very good. He had a lot of experience with the toilet system that we had.
