Description of Work: The crew did excellent work, but they were the most expensive of all of the 4 quotes we received by more than $1,000. We decided to use McClain's Painting because of the rave reviews on Angie's list. Was the work worth $1,000 more than the nearest other bidder? Hard to say. Their weakest link is the advance notice and follow up. In a couple of days, we didn't receive a call from them until about 2 hours before they arrived.They are very good reliable painters, but on the pricey side. Very professional in their work.

The telephone contact and planing was sporadic, at best, and at times made me think the special offer was a waste of time for their business. I later chose Certa Pro: they know Customer Service! Description of Work: McClain's Painting sent a team of three to paint, stain and seal the ceilings, doors and walls of my home. I debated at length about going with them because theirs was the highest quote. However, they were worth every penny. Charles McClain came promptly to measure and to discuss what I wanted. His detailed estimate came within two days. He was thorough and very professional. I asked if he did background checks and if his painters smoked. I explained I have a health issue that is aggravated by fumes and by cigarette smoke. His crew, Todd, Chad and Barbara, were respectful of that problem. They were courteous, quiet, prompt and again professional. I dreaded going through the two weeks it would take to do this job but McClain's team made it as easy as it could be. We will hire them again. They give high value for their work.
