Scheduled for them to come the week of the 25th. Due to the storms and such they could not come this week, but they could not give me specific dates for rescheduling. I needed to be sure to have dates so that I could coordinate a fence repair at the same time to keep other houses pets in.

This company has earned our loyalty and trust, and we would highly recommend them. When we called requesting an estimate the gentleman was here the next day. He was very thorough and professional. He advised us that it was their busiest season, and since our trees weren't an immediate danger and weren't from storm damage, it would probably be between 4-6 weeks before they could perform the work. We understood and agreed. That was on 4/30/14. On June 13, they called to let us know they would be doing our work on Tuesday, June 17. They showed up promptly (9 am) and spent the entire day with a crew and multiple trucks getting the job done. They had to send a different truck back the following day to pick up the large trunk pieces, another trip with separate equipment a few days later to grind down the very large maple tree stump and roots in the front yard, and still another trip on another day to haul away the sawdust debris from the grinding. That's four trips with different trucks, equipment and personnel, and each was performed exactly as promised with great professionalism. We thought so highly of their work we have already contracted with them for additional work to clear an overgrown area in our wooded lot. Again, it's a 4-6 week wait, but worth it, in our opinion. They are the best! Oh, and they provide a 5% senior citizen discount. That is also very much appreciated.

We had a large tree in our backyard that split into 3 sections in the storm last Monday, 6/16/14. One large part of the tree came down and was on the ground, but also still attached at the other end about 30' up; a second section fell another direction, but got hung up in another tree and suspended very high; and the third section standing probably 60' high was still intact but severely compromised. This tree would require special equipment and expertise to get down safely. I checked Angie's List and narrowed my selection down to Lancaster Tree Service. I could not have possibly made a better choice! They called me back the same day and came out to see us the next day to provide a quote. We discussed having two other dead trees removed while they were here. The quote was $650 for the large storm damaged tree and $150 for one of the dead trees and $75 for the other one, for a total of $875. We accepted the quote and the work was scheduled for the next day. A crew of 4 men arrived at 8AM and they worked very hard, with only a minimal break and finished around 1PM. They came with all the right equipment and expertise to get the job done quickly and efficiently. They were able to deal with everything except the really large tree that was cut down. Another truck would have to come for that, and they assured us it would be done quickly. We received a call the next day and they arrived late that afternoon to remove what was left. Everyone we dealt with was professional and provided a very high level of customer service. This is the first time we've ever used a service such as this, and we are thrilled that we chose Lancaster. There is nothing that they could have done better. We believe their service was probably priced below that of many competitors. Service, responsiveness, and performance were exceptional. We give them our highest recommendation.

They were awesome. They are so close and responded very quickly. They have all the equipment they needed to work with (truck, ...). Overall, they have an A grade.

They were very prompt in providing an estimate for the necessary service and provided GREAT pricing. Considering the damage from the storm in our area they were able to get us into the schedule quickly. Their work was very complete. The crew was very courteous and personable. They cleaned up after themselves very well.

All went well. Sarah came and gave me an estimate as scheduled. They were able to get me scheduled within a week of me choosing their service. The only glitch was that I was not called to confirm when they would come until the day before, so I was not able to be home while the work was done. When I did get to see it, all was done as agreed. In fact they cut the logs into about fire place size lengths, which was smaller than I had anticipated. The price seemed reasonable to me for the work performed. Impressed that they provided proof of insurance up front.

Came out on a holiday weekend because rain delayed the originally scheduled dates. Removed some very large, overgrown, unmanageable pompous grass bunches using some heavy equipment. No damage to our yard, and cleaned everything up when they were finished.

Large maple tree struck by lightening. Called Lancaster to see about damage to tree. Ronnie came the same day and determined tree should be removed as it was damaged and very close to house. Advised that they are scheduled 2-3 weeks out but would try to get done sooner due to lightening damage. Two days later the crew came and took the tree down. Stump was removed several days later This was a very big tree so I felt the cost was reasonable and the crew did a great job. $750 to remove the tree, the large stump with extensive roots was $150. This was my second experience with Lancaster and I have been very satisfied on both occasions. I would absolutely use them again and would recommend them to anyone,

1659When they came out to do the work I was even more impressed with the equipment that they have to do the job. The job was done very fast and properly and very much to my satisfaction. They used a crane to lower all limbs so as not to damage the yard. When they were using their crane on my asphalt driveway and lowered the stabilizing jacks, they put down wooden blocks to protect the asphalt. When they had to get their trucks in the yard, they laid down large mats to minimize damage to the grass. They cleaned up everything before leaving. I will definitely recommend them to all of my friends.

These are true professionals. They came with all the heavy equipment (cranes, bucket truck, chippers, grinders, etc) needed to do the job efficiently. They were careful not to damage any of the close structures like our fence and front porch. The entire job was finished in one afternoon and the morning of the next. They did exactly what I wanted and were very, very professional in "finishing" the job, ie. cleaning up, blowing and putting down the straw and seed. One of hardest working crews of men I've seen in some time. No wasted time - at all! I will certainly use them again and not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Having spent over 40 years in the agricultural profession, I know and can appreciate professionalism whether it is in crop production, animal production or arbor care. Lancaster Tree Service falls in the latter of arbor care and they do a very professional job. From the tree climbers to the log truck and stump grinder, they performed the work in a very efficient way protecting our own property as well as the adjoining neighbor's property. I was also impressed by the workers work ethic and their use of protective gear in performing their duties. I contacted Lancaster because of their reviews on Angie's list. After receiving a quote, I also found out they were insured by a very reputable independent insurance agency here in Knoxville. They are also A+ rated by the Better Business Bureau. The work went very well and I will be contacting them again in the future when I need any tree work done again.

Lancaster was easy to communicate with. They respond to email or calls in a timely manner. I had several old planting beds that had been neglected over the years. The existing plants were overgrown and there were some weeds as well. I wanted all the plant material removed, including the roots. I didn't want any of those plants coming back later. They showed up on time, got everything out quickly and smoothed the dirt back out. They also ground up a holly stump. They were thorough, left my yard clean, easy to work with and I think the price was competitive. I'd recommend them to friends.
