Lancaster was very prompt in coming to our house to provide an estimate and did a good job of staying in touch with us. They could not get to our work right away because of the sudden influx of orders from the coupon sales, which is to be expected. They also had to delay my scheduled work once due to emergency work elsewhere due to a storm. This was acceptable to me because they kept me informed and because my work was not any thing close to an emergency. They did a good job quickly and left a clean work site. The workers were all very nice and very cooperative. I was very pleased with their work and will use them again. Their price was reasonable.

We were amazed at how efficient, friendly and professional they were. They were extremely careful and cleared every piece of debris before leaving. We could not be happier with their service and will use them in the future.

Great estimate - great service - cleaned up the yard, stacked wood, very careful with safety factors and home protection. Removed 2 stumps and left them with chips. The coupon was FANTASTIC - we saved a !00 Dollars We had to wait about 5 weeks, but was worth it. It was a busy season with lots of emergency cases. If it had been an emergency, we would have been bumped up. I would and will, use them again

They were well equipped with machinery, knowledge, and experience to provide almost any tree service I could imagine. It went very well and I would definitely recommend them and suggest that they get a top rating all the way through.

n estimator came and estimated the job. That turned out to be the exact price. The men came with chain saws which they used to cut the branches and to cut the trunk of the tree. After the tree was down, they cut the trunk into manageable chunks and put them in the truck to be hauled away, along with the branches. They then brought in a machine to grind the stump. They left no debris. They did an excellent job for an excellent price.

Lancaster Tree Service do a good job and their price is fine. I will use them in the future.

We got off to a rough start due to scheduling problems and being rescheduled 5 times (this is the reason for the B grade in responsiveness) but they were A+ after that. I was told they were short of help in the office and have since hired a new employee(I have been in contact with her to pay my bill and she seems to have all her ducks in a row. She immediately returned my emails and sent me a confirmation that the charge had been paid). The men finally arrived on July 4th about 1:30 pm. They worked approx. 4 hrs that day and returned early the next morning, working about 8 hours to finish up. They had to use a large crane to top the trees down and roped them off to lower the huge logs to the ground. The man in the crane had to navigate around an electric wire and he did that like the pro he is. The logs were lowered to the ground with efficiently as I did not hear a huge thud when they hit the ground as I have in the past with other companies. They brought in a large truck and hauled off at least 3 loads of logs. My husband and I have some acreage so we asked them to leave us the mulch(they had 2+ chipper trucks full!!) for later use. They worked dilligently, stopping only for lunch and an occassional drink as it was over 100 degrees that day!! When they were finished, they raked and cleaned the area completely and except for the missing trees, you would never know that they had even been there. I had occassion to talk to the man that I believed was the foreman and he was always very pleasant. You could tell that these men did this every day and were not some fly by night operation. Mr. Lancaster can be very proud of his workers!! When I need more tree work done, I WILL DEFINITELY CALL LANCASTER!!!! They gave me a lot more than my money's worth!!

I contacted the company via their web page and requested an estimate. Sara called and made an appointment to come by the next day. She was on time and very pleasant to work with. The crew arrived when they were scheduled to and preformed the work very professionally and quickly. I was impressed with how well they cleaned up the debris from the limbs and tree they removed. I definitely will use them again and have recommended them to family and friends.

Very professional gave us a bid and they were out to remove the tree the next day. you couldn’t even tell they were there!

Lancaster Tree gave us a very reasonable and affordable quote. True, it did take several weeks between the quote and the actual time they were able to come out and do the work, but that speaks more about how in demand they are – and summer is, of course, their busiest season. Matt performed the work quickly and efficiently. He took care of all our concerns and he also volunteered to trim a few additional smaller bushes free of charge. And I was very pleased that he "respected the tree" and only removed what was necessary for power line maintenance. Finally, he and Sara cleaned after themselves and hauled all the debris away. The next time we need any type of tree work done, we will definitely be calling Lancaster Tree. Highly recommend!

I've used them about 3 times. They're really good. Everything stands out about them. They're very efficient. They have good equipment. The only thing that I find negative, is that they have a waiting list. It takes about a month to get anything done. They're fast with their quotes. They honor their quotes. They ground up all the brush, and take everything away. They're more competitive than anybody else. I think their quality is excellent. I think they're excellent all around.

They looked over the job and made a bid which I accepted. The work was completed when scheduled (I was totally flexible re schedule). The job site was totally cleaned up when they left.

Beat other estimates by 50%. Great work. Cleaned up after themselves and hauled everything away. No extra charge for drive to Loudon. Great service. Willnhirevagain next year.

They were reasonable with their prices. They did a good job.

I called and asked for someone to come out and give me a quote about two weeks ago to remove a dead tree. I got a call within two days that the quote had been left on my front door, but that they quoted too much and wanted to lower the price by $85.00. I told them to go ahead and do it. It took about two weeks because of storm damage, but they took down the tree and ground the stump all in about 30 minutes. Communication could have been slightly better as I had to call a couple of times to find out exactly when they were coming, but other than that they did a fantastic job!

I definitely liked their service. They were very good and I would use them again.

After being ignored by one of Knoxville's larger tree services I called Lancaster Tree Service. I received an estimate within a few days. A month later a crew came to do the work (pretty quick by Knoxville standards after the storm). They were very efficient and asked me exactly what I needed to clarify. A few days later my accessible stumps were ground down. I won't use any other tree service now that I have used Lancaster.

The tree removal itself was fantastic with no collateral damage to the rest of the yard.

I spent about $400 on that service. They are not completely done. They did not charge me for the estimate. They seemed to do good work from the partial work that they have done. The one negative thing about them was that they showed up last week, but told me that they would be here prior to that and weren’t very punctual.

They had a load of work due to the storm that had brought down thousands of trees but they managed to fit us in and did the work promptly. It was good work. They just came out and did it and didn't even knock on the door and just took the tree away. I would say that they were prompt and responsive, considering the circumstances.

I spent about $400 for their service. They were quick and reliable. They came in and did exactly what they told me they were going to do. There was no variance whatsoever. So, it’s a great job for me when somebody does that.

I understand there has been much storm damage in the area...but they should have told us they were overbook instead of putting us hold, thinking they were coming. We could have searched other services, since our home was in danger. We then went to the next company I chose from Angie's List. They were upfront with us and said they were overextended and gave us another company's name. Dunham's Tree Service came "THAT" day and saw the danger. They sent a crew of 8-9 the next morning and finished the job, and then some, in 1 day.

I called the company and left a message about what I wanted done on a monday morning. My call was returned that evening by Sarah, she said she would send someone out to give me an estimate in the next few days. Louis came by wednesday morning and gave me the estimate, he said Sarah would let me know when the work would be done. Thursday evening Sarah called to tell me they could do the job on saturday before lunch. Saturday morning Sarah and a young man (I didn't get his name!) showed up around 9am. They cut the trees, hauled the debris to the chipper and were gone in about an hour and a half. Everyone I dealt with was very friendly and professional. Sarah even called ahead saturday morning to tell me what time they would be there. Quick, efficient and reasonably priced. What else could you ask for?
