They were fantastic. I had four or five estimates and his was the best. In fact, someone else was going to put in the same machine and charge me twice as much. We were away for the day but they did as much outside as they could without us here.

I contacted John H. Coleman for an estimate for replacing a failed residential split HVAC system. I was promptly put in touch with the company's owner who scheduled a visit to my home for the following morning. He was friendly and professional during the visit and provided numerous observations and recommendations during the home inspection. Within a couple hours after the visit he had already worked up two proposal options and delivered them by email. I continued to correspond with the owner over the next several days by phone and email as he revised the proposals in response to my requests. Every aspect of my interaction with John H. Coleman was handled with absolute professionalism and integrity. I ultimately chose another contractor for this project but John H. Coleman was competitive in price and I have no question that they would have done an outstanding job installing and maintaining their proposed systems. Over the course of a week I received no less than 6 proposals and estimates from various contractors for this project and John H. Coleman will be at the top of my list for referrals and recommendations. I consider that to be a rare reflection of the outstanding impression left on a prospective customer in such a short period of time.

The overall experience was excellent and the prices are reasonable. They were here ahead of their promised time. I will use them again in the future.

In this case I didn’t spend anything because I have used them before and they were just coming out for an opinion. They didn’t recommend a new system which I thought was honest.

The AC in our house stopped working on a very hot Sunday. It was evening by the time I called Coleman's emergency number and a recording said that I would be called back. Within 10 minutes a serviceman was on the phone. I scheduled a service call with him for the next weekday at 1:00 pm. That day almost exactly at 1:00, they called and said they would be at the house in a few minutes. The AC just needed a recharge which they did quickly. The unit has worked fine ever since. Very simply, they do what they promise at a fair price. Highly recommended.

I like them. They are here 3 times a year. They were good on everything. Their quality was good. They were responsive and punctual. I would continue to use them in the future.

Bob Pace arrived quickly, made the diagnosis, called to find the part, went to get the part, and returned and fixed the problem. He was very friendly, professional, and completed the whole process in no time. Very positive experience and would recommend to others.

One of the most professional companies we have ever dealt with. It's very hard to complain about anything when they show up when they say they will, protect the flooring in the work area, work entire days until the project is done and leave the place like they were never there. We would have no reservations whatsoever in recommending John H. Coleman to anyone in the Knoxville area.

They are a heating and AC company. They had their engineers out here and they knew what they were doing. They came out, looked at the job, did an estimate and then brought an engineer out to design it. The installers then came out to put it in. They did an excellent job at each stage. They were very prompt. They were here when they told me that they were going to be here. They didn?t leave a mess. I didn?t have any problems at all with the scheduling. I would certainly use their services in the future too.

Knowledgeable sales representative and best price for comparable systems. Price included taxes so there were no additional charges. Installation crew showed up on time and finished on time (2 days) and were professional. Installation looks good and works great (just in time for the coldest December in years). Worked with us to get system installed in time to get manufacturer's rebate and federal tax credit.

I have been using John H Coleman Company for years. They come twice every year to check and service the units. They have always done a good job. They are very honest. I had complained once about a person who did not do a thorough job and they sent another person immediately.

I contacted them and then they called me back which was nice of them to make sure I was scheduled. The gentleman that came out was very knowledgeable and was very patient and helpful with answering my questions. He showed me stuff, instead of just telling me what he was going to do.

I found the staff to be very professional and friendly, from those on the phone to those who came to do the work. They were able to offer advice that was so helpful and had not been offered by previous 3 companies who looked at the work. There was a wait for the work but it was not longer than anticipated based on the type of business and the time of year request was made. The work was completed in a timely manner and the quality of the work is excellent. They had the facilities and abilities to fabricate a rainshield specifically fitted to our unit and the gaping hole that had been left by the installation contractor. Other companies had told us that we would need to hire a mason to repair that damage as no rainsheild in that shape could be made, but the Coleman company made one with a perfect fit. On an unusual note, we still have not received a bill for the work despite 2 calls to the company.

Very responsive, professional, friendly, and efficient service. The technician also explained what was being done and why it was needed, which I appreciated. I wasn't expecting same day service, but I called around noon, and a technician was able to stop by my residence within an hour.

Technician showed up on schedule and went straight to recharge my system. He was very courteous and professional.

A salesman came to give us an estimate. He was friendly and courteous. A technician, Stephen Suttles, came on the day we'd agreed upon. He was punctual, friendly, and courteous as well. Stephen explained to my husband what he was doing while he checked the unit in our condo (this is the first time my husband or I have ever experienced such a thing!) He apologized that the hi-tech gizmo he usually used to detect leaks was out of order, and he would have to do it the old-fashioned way. He and my husband went to the building's roof where Stephen charged the unit with refrigerant. He again explained what he was doing while he checked the rooftop unit for leaks. Stephen soon found the leak and told my husband it was simply two 15-cent parts that he could easily replace. My husband and I were happily surprised by this experience, as owner of the previous company we'd used had charged us nearly identically but had made no attempt at repair. We would not hesitate to recommend John H Coleman to anyone, and we would especially recommend Stephen as the technician.

The repairman came to the house at exactly the time they said he would. He found the problem within 10 minutes, had the part and fixed it. Could't ask for better service.

The installation was excellent. The products we purchased have functioned beautifully for our needs. The Lennox air conditioner is quiet, the whole house filter is great. We were able to comply with the code requirements without unnecessary expenses. We decided to get units that would be most suitable for our health problems and not what was least expensive.

My experience with this company was excellent. They responded very quickly with a bid and came out the next day and hooked up our unit and got us going again. We will use them again in the future.

I looked up several providers and John H Coleman Company had a high rating on Angie?s List. The person who came out was very good and found the problem right away. He was very professional, thorough and quick, and I was satisfied with him. He came as soon as he could get here, and he knew exactly what to do. He went underneath and found the problem, and hooked the unit back up for me. I am finding out now that we must have had this problem for a long time, because now that it is getting cooler, the heat is not going on like it used to either. Apparently I was losing heat too. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future.

They answered the phone quickly, got a repairman to the house quickly. The repair was done without problems. They took some time to explain about air conditioning. They took a credit card over the phone.

The estimator came out when expected and contact from the salesman was professional and courteous. The repair crew was very professional and the installation looks top notch. I was not charged for the installation until a month later after I had a chance to evaluate everything to be sure it worked well. I will definitely do business with them again.

I think everything went okay. I would tell others to give this company a chance. I moved here from another state and I found that it is hard to find a good company around here but this company is very good.
