Description of Work: I am so happy I chose John H. Coleman to remedy all of the many problems I had with existing furnace. All of the representatives were professional, courteous, prompt and knowledgeable. They seemed to really care about my needs and preferences and they went "above and beyond" in the installation of furnace and air conditioning. I did not compare prices because they came highly recommended and I needed a company I could depend on.

Description of Work: diagnosed my HVAC problem, but the tech was sloppy. instead of unscrewing all the screws that secured the top panel to my unit, he only unsecured half and then bent the panel trying to look inside. Really lazy. In addition, this young man was very condescending. For those reasons, I didn't even entertain this company as an option for replacing my until.

Description of Work: I looked at their web site which says they are open a half day on sat. I called twice and left a voice message for someone to please call me regarding a new heat pump for our house. Monday after I have still not been called. It appears to me they have enough business to ignore requests for service.

Description of Work: I call at 3:00 pm. They said if they had someone he might come this evening. If not, tomorrow morning. At 3:30 they called and said someone was coming. By 4:00 Ronnie Phillips rang the door bell and asked me what was wrong. I described the problem. He went to his truck, picked up a capacitor, and installed it on the outside compressor. He turned on the switch and it worked fine. The then came inside and answered questions about my electrostatic air cleaner and humidifier. By 4:30 everything was done and a he left a very happy customer. It is good to find someone who knows how things work, is willing and able to explain how they work, fixes it and leaves you happy. Thanks a lot Ronnie.

+ -1 moreThe repair person could have done a better job explaining what had happened to the unit, and how to avoid it happening again in the future. He seemed to be in a hurry and did not really explain things as well as we would have liked. The cost of labor seemed really high ($100 for 45 mins. and an extra $5 for fuel, which we didn't fully understand). However, they came out the same day we called. It is January, and I would imagine they are busy. We may call them again in an emergency, but will probably explore other companies for routine maintenance.
Description of Work: Came to new house and checked on gas heating and a/c unit that was not working. Turned out that during some electrical work being down to the house, a safety mechanism was tripped on the unit through the computer. The repair person reset the computer on the unit and tested to see that it functioned properly before leaving.

+ -1 moreThere is not too much to say about this company. I mean every year they come and every year they check for the same things. Nothing has yet to go wrong with the system, thank goodness. I will say that they do clean up after themselves and they are very reliable. They also come by every two years to change the cones and I am very happy for that as well. The price is also reasonable considering I pay them yearly for everything.
Description of Work: Coleman provides yearly maintenance checks on my heating and cooling system.

He advised us on everything he did and also went step by step on the gas furnace since we had no experience with one. He was very thorough in everything he covered.
