Absolutely great experience. The salesman was knowledgable about the products. He was at my house on time to measure and didn't rush through, but also didn't waste time and make me later for work. I was very pleased. The installers for the vinyl floors were awesome! They did three rooms in one day. They pointed out problems before they went any further (e.g., walls not being in square). They completed the entire installation in 6 hours - I was amazed!
Description of Work: I have used this company twice, once for new carpet in my mother's home before selling it last year, and recently in my own home replacing vinyl flooring. I have dealt with two different salespeople and both were knowledgable and very professional. The installers I worked with on both occasions were very skilled, polite, professional. They had a job to do, they came in, did the job and didn't leave until it was complete. The vinyl installers were absolutely awesome - they vacuumed my living room before leaving because small pieces of sawdust has been tracked in through the front door while they were cutting the trim pieces - I didn't realize anything was on the floor until I saw them vacuuming. I felt very safe and comfortable with these two installers. If you are having vinyl, ceramic tile, or hardwood installed, I would highly recommend asking for Dennis.

James came out to do an estimate......we had a nice chat....then we never heard from him again. I told him we would need a labor only estimate as well as one with materials so I did expect him to follow up with at least that. As a customer I do put the owness of communication on the contractor, I make myself available but I do not think I should have to chase after anyone to take my money. I went with a contractor that is a great communicator and does fantastic work.

Sales person was knowledgable patient and guided us in selection of tile. I had done some homework on line regarding ceramic tiles and learned about different tests and grades that are applied to tile. Others who were bidding on this job did not have this information readily available. Davids had this info on their tiles. Without this information you are buying a pig in a poke.
Description of Work: Had ceramic tile installed in two bathrooms. They removed old tile and carpet. Pulled camode and reset. Installer was very professional. Install and clean up was fast and efficient.

He was very prompt and professional. When I went to get the estimate on the job they gave me an estimate. I ended up going to another company but I will use them again in the future. He started out at $2300. I was expecting something closer to $1700. He took a couple of other days to figure another quote for me. He then came down to $1900. I called another company and he came an estimate for $1800 s I went with him. My experience with them was excellent. The guy wad kind of disappointed that I did not go with him as he had spent the time to come out and give me an estimate. I would say he was fine. His responsiveness was excellent. I went over my lunch break one day and they showed up to give an estimate. We then rescheduled for Thursday. I went there during my lunch break of Friday. He said I could be there on Tuesday night and then I had to call and back of for that date.
Description of Work: I got an estimate from Frazier's Carpet One. He came to my home to give an estimate last month. The guy that came was Rick Young. The quote was for hardwood flooring in the master bed room and the closet.
I've used them three times. Their installation is excellent. They are really a professional company and much better than some of the companies that I've heard about. They are very choosy about their installers and all three times, the installations were done properly and that wasn't my experience with some other flooring company. I would recommend them. These were separate jobs altogether. The linoleum was in one bathroom, the ceramic tile in a different bathroom and the carpet was in the bedroom. I've bought a carpet recently and I am thinking of using them again for carpeting. The carpeting was over $900, the linoleum was about $200 and the ceramic tile was about $500, but this included the material. I bought some extra carpets from them for about $900. The ceramic tile was done four years ago. I like their quality of installation and they said that when they send some one to my house for installation, they would be there on time. They also talked about how professional their installers were and one of the things that are really important to me is not just the sales department, but the installation and sure enough the person was on time and did a good job. Then I had more confidence in hiring them for my carpet, linoleum and the person that did the installation just did a wonderful job and that didn't have to be redone. There were no problems. It was professional, it was clean and it was just wonderful. It's really important for a company to have good installers for flooring. One can definitely rely on them doing a professional job, doing it correctly and having good installation. I had work being done before Thanksgiving by a different company and the other installers didn't have any sense of trying to finish the job and there was no urgency about it. I really appreciate Frazier's installers.
Description of Work: I used the services of Frazier's Carpet three years ago. I used them the first time for ceramic tile and then for carpets and then we used them for linoleum.
The absolute best contracting experience we have ever had. From the first phone call to Frazier's to project completion, everything exceeded our expectations. The salesman, Robert, was extremely knowledgeable of all flooring products as well as installation. He helped us determine the best direction of the flooring considering esthetics and how the flooring joists were designed. He was always prompt, kept appointments and worked with our schedule which was sometimes out of the norm. The installation crew of Kevin, Michael, and Zach was a joy to work with. The were always on time, worked very quickly, and the quality of the installation is way more than we dreamed. They kept us informed of everything they were doing. They moved all the furniture out. We did not have to lift a finger. And they were so clean! They cleaned up every day and tried very hard to cause us as little inconvenience as possible. The kept dust down to a minimum and then cleaned the floor and moved all the furniture back before they left. We will always go to Frazier's for any flooring needs and recommend them highly to anyone considering new flooring.

We started out visiting the showroom and had a good experience with the salesperson and eventually was quoted a good price for the quality of flooring that we selected. The installation was scheduled and the installer showed up as promised. The quality of the installation was mixed. The floor had some difficult pattern matching issues that were handled expertly - really well. There were some problems with the existing subflooring that were initially fixed by the installer but came back to be a problem in one area later. The installer had a helper with him that was a high-school student who was pleasant enough but was given too much independence putting on the shoe moulding. Joints were done sloppily in some cases and some of the moulding had to be reset. I didn't discover until after they had left that the caulking that was used to cover the staple holes was very crudely put on and dried with rough spots. It has to be fixed prior to painting but that's easy enough - just shouldn't have happened. The biggest issue is that the existing sub-floor (older luan) was deemed acceptable by Fraziers and even by the installer (by virtue of the fact that he used it). There came a time where a piece of that floor "bubbled" up after the coating was put on it and the installer "fixed" it with more skim-coat. After the vinyl was laid there was a bubble on that spot that took a considerable amount of time to go down and, as it turns out, the installer cut the vinyl to insert glue underneath and didn't get the two sides to match exactly. We have NOT called this to their attention because we just really don't want the hassle of dealing with it and are concerned that any fix might look worse than what we have. Also, what bubble is left continues to recede over time although it's apparent that some ripples will always be there. In addition to all of this, the spot I refer to above has what looks like dried glue around it (on the surface of the floor) but it may be an abrasion in the flooring itself. After making a single call we have not heard back from the sales person and again have chosen not to pursue it due to the potential hassle factor with this installer. All in all we are very pleased with the quality of the flooring material and the really terrific pattern matching that was done. A small scatter rug over this spot will serve us well and over time it will fade in our memory.

I went into the store and talked to 2 people who worked there, including a saleman. They were very friendly, knowledgable and helpful. I called the saleman later and we setup a time for him to come over and measure the rooms in the house to determine amount of carpet needed/pricing. He came promptly on a Friday morning and told me he'd have a price for me by end of day Saturday. He didn't call me with pricing until Thursday night (almost a full week later). He gave me a quote and, when I asked for the breakdown of that pricing, he offered to email it. I've never received the email and never gotten a follow up call from him. I'm not about to call him as I'm not interested in doing business with Frazier's if this is the way their salesman operates. It was a waste of time for me and for them.

They have a wide selection of brand name tile and we used Daltile. The sales person is very good and visited the site twice to make certain that everything could be installed correctly. The tile installer was very meticulous and was on site for nine days with a helper. It is very professional job. The vinyl installer was able to install quickly in two visits with only about 4 hours on site.
Description of Work: Fraziers recently installed ceramic tile in a new master bath addition. This included floor, tub surround, shower. This did include installing a Suntouch heated floor system under the tile. They also installed some vinyl flooring in the laundry room. We have used Fraziers in the past for both carpet and tile.
Description of Work: After receiving a direct mail advertisement I had a salesman come to my home to give me an estimate on installing hardwood on my stairs and upstairs hallway. After 30 days I had not heard anything. I called the store and spoke to another salesman who said he'd have someone call me. I've never heard another word.

The first house will be a rental so I chose an inexpensive Berber carpet. I also found 59 cent a square foot vinyl in the clearance section...don't overlook this area of the store. I was not in town during this installation so I cannot name any of the installers, but I know they did a great job cos the house was transformed. I am living in the second house so I splurged on the vinyl for the kitchen and bath to complement the oak hardwoods my grandparents installed fifty years ago. This product has a diagonal pattern that I love...it looks like the house was designed around it. Also I found this item on sale which makes me love it more. Robin and Adam installed this for me and I could not believe how easily they moved all the kitchen appliances. Robin is a petite dynamo...she cut the vinyl so expertly that it fits like a glove and she laid it with only one seam in three rooms. Unbelieveable. She was even kind enough to come back and move the fridge out about a half inch cos I was afraid to have anyone else do it for fear of damaging the floor. Robert was the salesman and he has a great deal of patience. He answered all my questions and suffered my schedule changes with a smile. Frazier's has been here for years...don't forget them in the rush to the newer stores.

It went very good, I thought the installion went good. They were very professional, and they cleaned up after themselves. It was a good experience from sales to installation. Spent $800 more on the product then at another place, but it had a better warrenty and we liked how they were going to install it. The othere place was going to tear things out to lay the flooring, but this provider simply installed it over the existing flooring.

The company sales people were very polite and guided me to what I needed rather than what would cost the most money. The installer showed up right on time, and was very polite and considerate. However, it took one full day longer than what was the estimated time frame, so I'm glad I did not plan for company right after the work was supposed to be finished. The delay in the time frame is the reason I would give them a B instead of an A.

We got the estimate and were very pleased with the person who came to do the estimate. He showed us a few tile options that I had requested, but said for what I wanted, a sheet vinyl might work better. He was very knowledgeable about the flooring products. He took his time and found out exactly what we wanted to accomplish by replacing our carpet. Since the guy didn't have any sheet vinyl samples with him, we went to his store a week later when we had time to do it. We selected the vinyl we wanted and scheduled the installation for the next day. The vinyl is very thick and has a 20 year warranty against fading, tearing & scratching! The installer was a veteran of the industry who did a wonderful job on our floor, it looks great. The flooring was finished in 3 days, which is quick since she had to install underlayment wood sheets and also replace a piece of our subfloor that had been rotted away by water damage. Since we didn't know how extensive the water damage would be, we couldn't get an estimate for fixing the floor that ended up being rotted away until the carpet was removed. This is why our final cost was higher than the estimate, but only by $200. The installer also fixed an annoying squeak that had been in the floor. The floor was finished off with white shoe molding that is also paintable, but matches my existing molding.
Description of Work: Removed carpet and installed new subfloor and sheet vinyl. Also replaced a rotted piece of plywood near leaking door that was later replaced.

My wife and I went to Frazier's showroom to speak with Jeremy our sales person. He listened to what we wanted, how and when we wanted our floors replaced and what our budget could afford. He showed us several samples, allowed us several days to take them home to decide on the color, style and brand. We decided that we would replace all the vinyl in 3 bathrooms. We would then hardwood floor the rest of the house; kitchen, dining room, 3 bedrooms, and den. Jeremy set the expectations of what was required by us, which was to pack every thing as if we are moving but we are not going anywhere. There will be dust. Your house will be disrupted but semi livable. If you have to live there, we can work together. The contents sans furniture ended up on 2 decks and the garage. Three days prior to the flooring guys (Gary and Greg) arrival, Robin came to install the vinyl in the bathrooms, front door threshold area, and the area from the garage to the den. She worked 12 hours on day one and 8 hours on day two. 30 years of experience on her part in laying vinyl was the privilege we received in her fine craftsmanship. She set the expectation that if she found any issues with reseating the commodes we would be responsible. That was understood and accepted. One commode "rocked" so we took care of that issue. The flooring crew consisted of Greg and Gary. Here again, we were privileged to benefit from years of experience by their fine and perfect work. We moved out the first weekend due to the dust that was generated by the tear out of the carpets. We asked them to complete one small bedroom first for that was the easiest bed to reassemble and that room had the spare TV. They did so without hesitation. They worked a total of 8 days. We were in constant touch with our salesman Jeremy. Beyond the sales work and keeping track of the work, Jeremy added to the expertise by staining the treads to our stairs. This helped shave time off the entire job and his personal involvement added to making sure that the stairs matched exactly the color and grain of the floors. They do. There were only a few things that needed work beyond the actual laying of the floors. This was a possibility that was mentioned during the contract negotiation. Therefore this was not a surprise. A small section of the kitchen sub-floor needed replacing, the stairs needed extra bracing, and about 800 sq ft of sub-floor was renailed down to alleviate all "squeaks". The work cost was estimated and negotiated to a very favorable agreement by both. The work is complete. The floors look great! The work is flawless. Several friends that have hardwood floors mentioned that they wished theirs turned out as good as ours. Everyone involved was professional, easy going, friendly and courteous. They exceeded our expectations and would recommend Frasier's to all that ask.

They did a wonderful job on the carpet and the carpet looked great. They got the job done very quickly and I was impressed with how great their customer service was. They had excellent sales people that were very informative and never pushy at all.
Description of Work: They replaced the carpet in our large den.
They gave us a reasonable estimate and they stuck to that estimate. Not only did they do a fantastic job, but they were also the only ones we have had out for any kind of work. They were also able to finish right on time. They did our new house here so there was not tearing out job required but we were still impressed with how fast they finished the floors and how nice a job that they did. These are the guys I would want to use for any kind of new flooring job.
