The two gentlemen who did the job were very friendly and professional. They did a beautiful job installing the new carpet. They did not damage the baseboards or walls and left everything in immaculate condition. We could not have been happier with our experience with Frazier's.
Description of Work: Removed and hauled away old carpet and pad. Moved all large pieces of furniture from the three rooms before and replaced them after the new carpet was installed. Vacuumed flours and installed new pad and carpet in three bedrooms.

I went to Frazier's in November, I believe, and met with Jeff who showed me their vinyl selection and let me take home some samples. I returned half of the samples in a few days and took home a few more. I also scheduled a time for Jeff to come and measure my floor. He came at the agreed time and spent probably a couple of hours measuring and going over all the details with me. He wrote up a detailed estimate and I signed a contract. A couple days later he called and we scheduled the installation. They could have come in mid-December but I wanted to wait until after Christmas. On January 13 Roger came and installed the new vinyl. He did a wonderful job, much better than the previous installer (don't remember who that was; it was in 1985). Jeff had warned me that there may be a lot of dust but when Roger pulled up the old vinyl he determined that the plywood underneath it was still good and didn't need to be replaced so there was no dust and when he was finished he cleaned up. The whole process took about half a day and was over with much earlier than I had expected. Both Roger and Jeff were very professional and pleasant to deal with. I love my new floor. The quality is better than what it replaced and it even feels better to walk on. Because the under layer did not have to be replaced, the final payment was lower than the original estimate.
Description of Work: Replaced vinyl in kitchen and adjoining dining area.

The salesmen and installers were all very professional and polite. We love them and would absolutely recommend them with no reservations. I can't compare prices on the carpet I got, since nobody else had it, but from what I could tell they are very reasonable.
Description of Work: We were looking for a specific type of carpet; we knew what we wanted. Other dealers told us it didn't exist; Frazier's had it. They installed a large living room and a hallway in less than a day, including moving furniture and removing old carpet.

The sales person Joshua was excellent. He listened and delivered on time. They were extremely professional and knew what they were doing. They worked fast and were excellent. If we need flooring, I am calling Frazier’s no questions asked. We thought the prices were very reasonable. The cleanup was excellent and we have no complaints with them. They did everything they promised to do.

I went to the store, knowing basically what I wanted. I spoke with Jon in the store who showed me options. I made an appointment for him to bring samples, measure the area and give me an estimate. He arrived on time, was very professional and helped me to compare the samples and decide what was best for my area. After calling back with the estimate (and comparing it with one from another company, he returned to the house to sign the contract. He called when the carpet came in and made an appointment for installation. Roger was on time for installation and did a wonderful job! He was very conscientious in his work moving furniture, removing and replacing doors, even assisting with a few flaws in my house. This has been a very pleasant experience. My upstairs has been transformed! I would recommend Fraziers to anyone!

I have used Frazier's before in my own house always with great results so I didn't hesitate to call Josh when we needed to replace the flooring in my Mom's house before putting it on the market. Josh actually had to come out twice because our flooring budget was reduced. My sister and I only had $5k to paint the entire interior, do repairs, power wash, and replace the flooring at Mom's house before we put it on the market. Josh helped me find great looking carpet and linoleum in my tight budget. We could not have been more pleased with how it looked when the job was complete. The installers did a fantastic job. I really like how thorough Josh is - he informs you of all costs and how the flooring will be laid in great detail so there are no surprises. We got a contract on the house one week after the work was completed and another buyer on stand-by if the first deal fell through - so the buyers must have thought the floors looked great also! I would definitely recommend Frazier's and will use them again.

We worked with Jeremy, and he was great. We needed carpet installed on a specific day in our new house, the day between closing and the movers arriving with our stuff. Jeremy got everthing set up for us as we needed with no problems. Everything about the experience went very smoothly, and our new carpet looks wonderful. We shopped around before we decided on Fraziers, and the price was comparable to the other places we checked out, if not a little better.

A two man crew (who were great by the way) came on Wednesday and finished removing the hardwood in the foyer. My husband and I had removed a small 4x8 section of the hardwood because the subflooring needed to be repaired (done by a separate party). The installers got the family room, bathroom, closet and 3/4 of the foyer finished on Wednesday. Came back on Thursday and completed the foyer and dining room, cleaned up their stuff and left the leftover hardwood for us. The installers came back Friday morning to place the trim around our fireplace (since the tile around our fireplace was a little higher than normal, they had to get a special kind of trim for it). Was very pleased with the installation and the hardwood flooring looked FANTASTIC!
Description of Work: We had old hardwood floors (that had been water damaged) removed in our foyer and new hardwood floors replaced in our foyer, 1/2 bath and closet. We removed the carpet and padding in our family room and dining room and had hardwood floors replaced in those two rooms as well.

Description of Work: I used Frazier's Carpet One Floor & Home maybe a month ago to put in flooring in my kitchen, living room and dinning area.I spent $300.00 and some change only because it was through an insurance situation with the owner of my townhouse that I am buying and redoing. It was an upgrade so I had to pay for the extra for my selection of the wood. It was not within the range that the insurance would allow. I was allowed to select it and pay the additional funds, which I did.

BKA General Contractors assigned Frasers to remove and replace our water-damaged solid wood floor in the kitchen area. Once it was installed, it looked great. However, during the installation, rather than pull up the baseboard in order to slip a board up flush against the wall, the installer used a saw to shave a bit off the bottom of the baseboard so he could wedge the slat up under it. In so doing, he severed an electrical line that ran down along the door frame and through the floor. The power was not turned off and my father in law, who was there, was surprised that the guy didn't get electrocuted. Rather than stop right there and call his supervisor - better yet, BKA Contractors' project manager, Cornell, should have been there supervising and he could have handled it - the installer found electrical tape and the proper connectors in our garage and roughly reconnected the wiring before proceeding with the installation.BUT: the repair was not done by a licensed electrical contractor; it was done by a flooring installer. AND rather than leave the knot of electrical tape and wires exposed in order to be repaired properly later on, the installer pushed the knot up against the wall and attempted to put the door trim back over it. But, since it was a knot of tape and wire, it didn't fit back under the trim. AGAIN - rather than stopping even here and calling his supervisor, he decided to "make it fit" - by cutting a 2" chunk out of the 2x4 framing the sliding door - and then he hammered the trim back over it so we couldn't see it! If BKA Contractors had been supervising like they were supposed to, this wouldn't have happened to begin with. If my father in law hadn't been there, we wouldn't have known about it until the wires eventually shorted out. After BKA passed the buck back to Frasers and I called them, Bill at Frasers told me that he heard about the problem after the job was done but figured since the guys said it was repaired there was no reason to have me worry about it. I said "wait a minute; you have an employee - a floor installer - that thinks shaving a baseboard rather than remove it in order to properly install your product is good judgement. On top of that, you have an installer who thinks wrapping a bunch of duct tape around wires he's just cut is proper judgement. And he cut a chunk out of my framing! Shouldn't you be concerned about this?" His response, while I don't recall verbatim, was more on the "I'll make a note of this" end of the spectrum than the "I'm terribly sorry/what can we do to make this up to you/I'm going to fire the idiot" end of the apology spectrum.I lost an afternoon waiting for the electrician to make the repair. I wish I could remember his name because he did a great job! When he came in, he said "this is an OK repair if you were doing it at your own house, but it is not up to code and definitely should not have been covered up... This isn't the first job I've been on this week to repair wires Frasers installers cut. They just don't care."Not only was the line severed but the switch and dimmer were blown as well. The chunk taken out of the 2x4 has not compromised the framing, luckily! There is a 1/4" gap in the flooring at that point however. The floor itself looks great. Note: Frasers doesn't finish floors, they only install them!

This company could not be more professional and helpful. From our very first home visit by Sherrie Wiltcher to our in store experience, choosing the carpet, with her and the installation by their professionals it could not have been a better experience. The carpet is cheaper at Home Depot or Lowes, but the service, advice and selection from Frazier's professionals make this the company we will use when we do our upstairs carpeting and our downstairs tiling.

My husband and I went to Frazier's showroom on 3/9/12. We met Robert who talked with us about carpet. He showed us a carpet they had in stock for a great price. We liked the price. He scheduled a time to come out to our home to measure and give us an estimate. He arrived on time on 3/15/12. He told us what we would need to do to have the house ready (unplug electronics, put away fragile items..), and that the installers would move the furniture. They had an opening the next day. We paid 1/2 the cost as a deposit and the rest was due at installation. I was told the workers would arrive between 8:30 and 10am on 3/16/12. At 8:10am the red unmarked van pulled into my drive way. ( I would have felt a little better if the van were obviously from Frazier's) The three men were employees of Frazier's, not contractors, and immediately started moving all my furniture out into the drive way. This took a little longer than it should have because I didn't have all of our electronics unplugged. I was under the impression they would be working one area at a time. I was wrong. They took everything out of the house, ripped out all the old flooring, installed the new flooring, then returned all the furniture. The job was completely done about 1:30pm. They did a great job with the floors. I love the new carpet. We paid $2400 for 816 sq. feet. I am waiting on a receipt to arrive in the mail to show we paid in full with a credit card. My only problem with the experience was that I was not prepared for being completely out of my house while they worked. Had I known they were going to do the entire house at once, I might have been able to prepare a little better. I was home alone and no neighbors around me. That meant no bathroom available and no kitchen accessible from 8:10am and 1:30PM. Oh, and I could lead my house because there were workers there and my drive way was blocked by furniture.

Fraziers did a fantastic job. Fortunately the hardwood we already had was still being manufactured. We requested that Dennis install our hardwood floors since he did the job in our living and dining room. They had to match and integrate the hardwood into our existing floors and did a beautiful job. There was one board that had an edge sticking up a little and another with a scratch. Dennis came back out and repaired both in just a couple of days. We got the hardwoods at a good price. I would highly recommend Fraziers.

No services were performed because they never got back to me with an estimate.
Description of Work: I contacted Frazier's to schedule an appointment for them to perform a hardwood flooring estimate. An appointment was made through Sherrie, who came out the following week to perform the estimate. When I arrived to my house to meet with her for our noon appointment, I was informed by an out-of-town family member staying at my house she had already come and gone (I had pulled into my driveway at 11:59 a.m. and didn't see anyone leaving my house). While I appreciate her taking the estimate even though I was not there, I would have appreciated her staying a minute to answer some questions I had regarding their services. Or at least calling me to let me know she was early. I guess she had somewhere better to be? So after leaving her card with our family member, she said she would follow up with me with an estimate...it has now been eight days later and I haven't heard back from her, nor anyone at Frazier's. I guess my business wasn't worth their time...

After the initial estimate 2 workers came to the house as scheduled 1 week later. Arrived on time, were professional. I was Informed time and the process of job. The 1st day they brought the materials and set up the saws. They worked on one room at a time, moved, replaced the furniture and cleaned up after their work each day. The job took 3 days consecutive days. They were very knowledgable and corrected a problem with squeaking floor though initially I sign a paper that said they would not be responsible for squeaks because it may be caused by the sub-floor. There was a missing transition strip for the sliding door in the family room. I was told that it would be taken care of. I said that I would call the company to be sure that my concern would be on file. They said that wasn't necessary that the sales person was responsible for ordering the supplies and would order it. I did call the company because I wasn't sure since as this was my 1st time using them. I was called 2 hours later and told that if I would be home they would install it that day. I noticed after they had left that 1 board was out of synch. I pointed this out to them and they removed the board and replaced it. This was nail down, tongue and groove flooring. I was very pleased with the attitude with replacement of the board and the prompt placement of the transition strip.
Description of Work: Had 3/4 inch hardwood flooring installed in Living room, dining room, and family room. Removal of carpet and furniture. New matching baseboards and quarter round. I was asked whether I wanted this to match the flooring or if I wanted white to match other baseboards in my home.
