Description of Work: Replaced the spring and cable on my garage door. | |I could not open my garage door because the spring had broken. I called around and found only Farmer's was able to come and fix the door the same day (Friday). Both,their office and their technician were very professional,friendly and helpful. | |I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: The cable on one side of my garage door had come off tract. They came out adjusted the cable back on track. A few days later I was unable to open the garage door. They came out the next day and adjusted the spring tighter. I, so far, haven't had any further trouble. The servicemen were very nice and professional.

Description of Work: Contacted Farmer regarding a broken spring on garage door. I had purchased an Angie's List "Big Deal". That particular deal had been canceled several months ago but not removed from web site. Farmer did everything they could to make the deal right. They were able to work me into the schedule on short notice. Technician arrived when scheduled. Technician was personable and professional. He quickly made necessary repairs. Actually made the job look easy - it is not. Garage works better than prior to the failure. Will definitely use Farmer again and will recommend to friends and acquaintances.

We did get a callback from the company on 4/2 but by then we had already purchased garage doors from another company.

Description of Work: Put on new springs and guides

Description of Work: A family member backed into the bottom of the door after it had opened. One of two of the coils had broken. There was a kink in the bottom of a two car garage door. The rail wheels were off. I thought that we would be replacing the entire door and rails but the FGD employee was very professional, punctual, and concerned about the cost. The job was performed with good timing and quickly and done well. I am writing this response about three months after the repair and there have been no further problems. I highly recommend FGD. There was a follow up call for the job which is rare these days. They gave the Angie's discount with no questions asked.
