The estimator was knowledgeable, professional and thorough. He took the time to explain the work that needs to be done. Out of all the HVAC contractors that we contacted for assistance/estimate this company was the only one willing to come out and provide a free estimate.

City Heat and Air was very professional. They called 30 minutes before arrival and located the problem quickly.

They did a good job and did it quickly. Everything was good.

The estimate for the work was quick and once the contract was agreed upon, the work was completed quickly. The crew was friendly, prompt, efficient and professional. The work spanned a couple of days and the workers were courteous and professional for the entire job. They cleaned up after themselves so well, one would not have known such a major undertaking had occurred. We are very pleased with the whole process. We would recommend.

Installed an American Standard system with dual zone. System works very well (at least on cooling - haven't needed heat). Much quieter than old (20 yr old) system. Much more uniform cooling. Only had system a couple of weeks so don't know effect on electricity usage.

Because I didn't have a maintenance contract; had to wait over a week for an appointment. Service person arrived within scheduled time. Cleaned tray and plug.

The service call went very well. They got our A/C unit ready for the summer heat and also quickly identified a problem in the outside unit and fixed it. We have used them several times in the past and have been satisfied every time. The $287 cost also includes credit for a furnace tune-up in the Fall.

Mike came out and did a wonderful job! I can tell he has been doing this a long time. He is professional, and friendly. He did a very thorough job. He also answered questions. He reminds me of that teacher you'd love to have in school who is patient, kind but also knows his profession inside and out! I'm extremely pleased. (Oh, and he was nice to my little dog!)

We called the office the week before to arrange the inspection and the appointment was scheduled for November 1st. We were contacted the day prior to the scheduled date to confirm that we'd be available. Josh arrived promptly at 8:30 AM, as scheduled. He had performed our spring inspection and, once again, did a thorough and professional job. He explained what he was going to do, identified any areas that needed to be addressed, and offered suggestions to help keep the cost of operations down. When finished he completed a form summarizing what had been and reviewed it with us. City Heating & A/C is very accommodating, helpful, and great people to work with.

The estimate alone was $80. They were prompt and got back to me right away and even out to the house quickly. They said the unit needed to be replaced and quoted a price. Fortunately for me I got a second estimate for the replacement of the unit, because it was half the price! I would not recommend this company! Shop around before settling on an estimate. By the way the company letter head is City Heat & Air, but they are also listed as City Heating & Air sometimes.

I wish there was a higher rating that "A" I didn't think anyone would show up until late Saturday but Steve called around 11:30 and was there around 12:00. He found the problem immediately was a part that had failed and replaced it. He had my system back up and running within about 20 minutes. I was SO happy with the service. Steve was very pleasant and helpful. I asked him about a maintenance contract for my system and he told me what was available so I signed up with them and he even gave me a 15% discount on the service I had originally called about. I was so happy with everything with this company that I would recommend it 100% to anyone.

I first called the service and got the answering service. They stated if I didn't use the emergency service, I would have to sit at my home from 7 to 5 and wait for the rep. I have a job, so that was out. Thier ad reads differently. It states that you will know when your appointment is so you won't have to waste your day. The rep, Mark, called me back. I could tell he was already upset about doing my call. He got here about 6:30. I showed him the thermostat and went to show him what I had done by moving things on it. Before my hand touched it, he stated "LET ME DO IT, you already know it is not working". I backed up and said ok. I showed him the unit in the garage and he went outside, slamming the door. He came back in, slamming the door, and said the unit runs on a separate circuit and it is locked. I was nodding, not sure what he was talking about. He then in a very gruff manner said "DO YOU HAVE A KEY", I said oh yes, we haven't worked out it in 10 years, so I forgot it was locked. He came in again slammed the door. I was ready to ask him to leave at this point, but I adopted a 4 week old kitten and was worried about him. I could go to a friend's house to get cool. He left slammed the door and came back in with a clip board. He said you have air and was about to give me bill. I said I have a coupon. He said we don't take those on Sunday. I said it doesn't say that anywhere on the coupon. He said I wish you would have told me earlier. I said first, I didn't know you were done, second I have no idea what you even did and third I didn't know the rules. I emailed the company about the service I received. Heard nothing, I called the business on Friday and talked to the receptionist. She said she wasn't making excuses, but she was. He had been working since 7am that morning and was tire and irratiable. She said i should find some forgiveness. My take on it, is I understand working many hours. I do it every day in my job. His attitude would have been differently had I been a man. His attitude was unforgiving. People like that have no reason to be in the service industry. This is their busiest season, if the company is overworking their employees, they may need to hire more people. I will never hire them again and I have told many people about the treatment I received. eme

I've used City Heating and Air in the past for service of an old HVAC unit. They did excellent work then, and offered the best deal from a few different quotes on replacing the old unit with a new good quality one. They showed up right on time, were completely professional, efficient, did great work, and I am SO happy with the new unit. 100% Satisfied.

They are wonderful. We’ve been using them since the early 1990's. They made some really good recommendations and our electric and gas bills have all gone down quite a bit, which is nice. We would totally recommend them. We've had really good experiences with them.

They came out and diagnosed the problem. The coils were under warranty, but we paid for the labor. They were very professional, and very timely in their work. They communicated well with us, and they were very knowledgeable. We will use them again if we need to.

Professional competent service at a fair price.

They arrived on time and they completed the work in the time they said they would. We’re happy with everything they did. We’re planning on having future work done with them.

Everything was satisfactory and they did good work, but they were pricy. Everything was fine, but just that they were overpriced. I felt that in terms of price they took advantage of the situation. I will not use them again in the future.

The company is very responsive to any questions or concerns that I had. They kept me informed at every step, and when they had to order a new part for me, they called several times to inform me of the status. I also used them for routine maintenance, and am very satisfied with the work they have performed. Will use again. I had a 10 year parts and labor warranty on my hvac unit, so this repair visit didn't cost me anything.

They come out every so often to make sure my unit was running okay. They were recommended to me several years ago.

City Heat and Air showed up on time and on the date scheduled, completed the work satisfactorily and professionally. The price was as quoted and the crew did a great job of clean-up when the job was completed. My husband and I are very pleased with both the product, install and professional attention given us by Dwight as the sales representative. The system has made our home very comfortable and we have seen much lower costs in our energy bills over the past 2 months. We would highly recommend City Heat and Air to anyone needing this type of service in the Knoxville area and plan to use them for regular maintenance on our system in the future. The service was great and the crew and sales folks friendly and professional.

The president of the company Mike Davis did a lot of personal work for us. He treated us as though we were the most important customer that he had. The work was excellent and it was done in a timely manner. Everybody was professional. It was a great overall experience with them. I would continue to use them as long as we live in Knoxville.
