Description of Work: Reupholstered 2 large chairs; beautiful work very professional. I am very proud of how nicely the work was done.

Description of Work: Repaired dings and scratches on 2 bed frames, repaired scratches on china cabinet, repaired crack on china hutch, fixed a lamp that had been chipped, and repaired couch where the wood was beginning to separate. Everything looks great and you cannot tell where the dings were. Would definitely recommend this company.

Description of Work: I had them regular and refinish six oak dining chairs that date from about 1920. They did a very nice job, and the chairs look great. I left a leaf from my dining table to use for a color match, and even the color match is very good. The workmanship in unquestionable. The only problem I experienced was timeliness. They told me the chairs would take two to three weeks. In fact, it was five weeks to the day when I picked them up. I'd called after two weeks and it sounded like they we're retry much on time. But when I called at the end of week five, they were only then going in for final sealing. I had a huge house party planned for the coming weekend and said I absolutely had to have them by Saturday. Finally I called again Thursday morning and they were "next in line after a table." To their credit, I said I absolutely had to have them and the young man on the phone said he would stay late to assure they were finished if necessary. They called next day for pickup. | |In sum, I'd use them again, but I wouldn't send them anything that had an absolute deadline. I don't think you could count on getting it back in time.

Description of Work: repaired broken heirloom table

Description of Work: One of our beautiful hand carved chairs had a mishap with a group of teen age boys during a sleeping over at our home (The sleep-over is a whole other topic to discuss and warn others off from impending damage to their home). I first tried re-attaching the arm myself with gorilla glue and a dowel, I am fairly handy, much to our embarrasement the handle broke off when a guest used to arm to help themselves sit down. After that bitter lesson, I brought this chair to C&S Refinishing with a broken arm and a loosened leg. The work is very, very good, they were punctual and professional and I am very happy with the quality of workmanship. They were not dirt cheap and I wish I could have saved a few dollars, however, having the work done right the first time and done well is well worth the cost of contentment.

Description of Work: They repaired my recliner (it had several broken pieces in the frame because I've had several grand mal seizures in it)and re-upholstered it.
