Description of Work: They did come to our residence after 2 cancelations and declared we had hail damage. The "inspector" came completely unprepared to inspect our roof (claimed he did not have the proper shoes) and spent a grand total of 5 minutes (if that) on the roof. After contacting our insurance company for a claim for the hail damage, at no time did a representative of Burell come, as they said they would, to discuss the situation. This included the owner of the company! They didn't even call to cancel/reschedule appointments!! They did not honor the Angie's List agreement, and in my opinion, did not honor the program. Very disappointed to say the least. Would I recommend the company?? NO WAY! I did receive a full refund from Angie's List along with an offer to find another company to perform the service. I do not have a problem with Angie - just this company!

Description of Work: Signed up for the $99 package to inspect the roof and do minor repair. I had a leak that was seeping into the garage. The Burell rep came out promptly and discovered where the leak was. He did some caulking around the area buy said If it didn't stop the leak the area would require more repair. After a couple of rains the leak was still present so he recommended the area in question be removed and replaced. A sub-contractor did the repair because Burell was busy with some other jobs. The sub came out promptly and completed the work in about 4 hours. So far we haven't had a leak. I certainly didn't expect my $99 package to turn into an additional $1700 job but the roof seems to be free of a leak so I guess it was worth the cost. I recommend reading the "small" print on these package deals to ensure one knows what it includes.

Description of Work: Burell Built took off my old roof, put on a new roof, cleaned out the gutters, and cleaned up afterwards. Sounds pretty straightforward, but in truth, the crew was exceptional. They were here prior to starting time which was 8:00 and they worked hard through the extreme heat and blaring sun. Then there were thunderstorms passing through -- and they worked till it was unsafe, but through the rain as much as they could. When it did stop raining and started to get dark, we put on the lights so they could clean up...it was a very long day, but they were outstanding. It was a SATURDAY and they were here ALL day AND cleaned up the nails and other metal debris with a MAGNET! We have a dog and it really worried me with all the nails flying off the roof, but I have not see one since they left. I cannot recommend them higher -- the crew was hardworking and excellent in their craft. We cannot speak more highly. Thank you so much, guys!

Description of Work: Inspected roo and discovered cause of leak to bathroom ceiling caused by a loose nail in gutter.

Description of Work: They were very detailed in inspecting my roof. They made me aware of a bigger issue which could've been a big expensive down the road had it not been caught. I appreciate the work they did do to freshen up my roof and I will definitely hire them again.
