Description of Work: I called the local ADT business office and got no response so left a message on the ADT website. That was the about first of November. I still haven't hear from them. I also sent in their mailer. Still no response. Will not use ADT for my home security provider.

Description of Work: We have had ADT since 1991 or 2. We have the same system*, have not updated and that is all we need. They continue to try to sell us more equipment. We haven't taken them up on it. They started at $20/month, now it is $46/mo. I have no memory of how the installation went in terms of the above questions. We are ho hum about it but it is the one we have and the one we will keep. | |*alarms on every outside door, two or three inside motion sensors, one control box.

Description of Work: Placed three cameras and 3 switches(to control from PULSE_. They placed two RF smoke detectors and use some of our previous security equipment. They do not lower the price for any request. They have specials but there is a PRESSURE in the very short timeline to accept the package/system. They are very professional and on time. ADT will only place their system for a minimum of 3 year contract. Read the fine line. Even if there is a loss of property you are still on the hook for the three year contract.

+ -1 moreADT does a great job of monitoring our home alarm system. We have been using them for about two years and have never had any false alarms. It is worth the monthly cost to have a reputable company like ADT taking care of your alarm system. They have been really good to us so far.

+ -1 moreWe have used ADT for several years now and they have always responded quickly to the alarms. My cat set off the alarm while I was at the movies and when I got home my backdoor was kicked in compliments of the police. We loved their response time and wouldn t use any other service.

They offer in-home maintenance calls for an additional cost but we have not seen the need for those yet because the service we are getting seems to be fine.

The gentleman who came out took his time in explaining the alarm system to my husband, so he felt comfortable in case anything ever happened. We have also never had a false alarm. I would recommend ADT to everyone, and will keep using them myself in the future.

+ -1 moreThey were really pretty good, but their price was high. The alarm system has given me no trouble, and the technician was outstanding. He explained everything in detail about the system itself and gave us a demonstration, and it took him two days to get it all set up for us. He was not in any hurry. He had two keypads when he came back the second day and the first keypad he put in did not match the second keypad, so he made sure he brought back two of the same matching keypads, which I thought was really great of him. He was a pretty friendly guy.

+ -1 moreAlthough I have never had a reason to call ADT, I know they have a wonderful reputation of protecting homes. When they came out, they gave me enough stickers to put in all over my windows, as well as the signs to put in my front and back yard. The man also showed me how I could check my system to make sure it was working correctly. I feel very safe having ADT monitor my house.
