Description of Work: Had to troubleshoot a tripped breaker. Diagnosed bad compressor on home freezer causing breaker to trip. Cost $124.50. Replaced a breaker in the breaker box and added 220 volt in one room. Cost $141.44.

Description of Work: They replaced my old panel and also installed a full home surge protector. I had to work that day, but my dad was there to meet them and he said they arrived on time, were very professional, and went around and tested every light switch, component, and outlet to make sure everything was working correctly before they left.

+ -1 moreI requested and received bids from 4 electrical companies in Knoxville. By far the most professional electricians to visit the house and provide a bid was Ace. Their pricing was very competitive pricing. Mr. Ogle and his son Matt arrived on time for the appointment. Matt who was the project manager followed up with a phone call asking me if I had received the estimate through e-mail, I had not due to e-mail issues and he resent it a detailed professional estimate. The generator panel was back ordered and Matt keep me informed as to when the panels would arrive. Once the equipment was in, the electrician (Dave) and his helper arrived on time to perform the work. When I returned in the evening, they had completed 95% of the work and continued to work until around 7:00 PM. They left the work area neat and clean that evening. They completed the work the next morning and all circuits have check out fine. Once the hot tub came in I contact Ace and Matt sent out Dave and his helper the day I called. They completed the hot tub and electrical installation in about 3 hours. I will use Ace again and highly recommend them to anyone needing electrical work.
Description of Work: Ace Electric Service removed an old 200 amp breaker panel that had been recalled due to breakers not tripping and causing fires, installed a new 200 amp breaker panel for the house, Installed a new GFI outlet in the basement, installed a 2nd panel with an interlock to hook up a generator as a backup power supply for the house, and installed a 220V 50 AMP service for a hot tub and then came back and wired the hot tub when it came in.
