We could not be any happier with the work that Ian did on our home. Ian is courteous, punctual, clean and was an absolute joy to work with. We look forward to having him come back this summer for additional work on our home!

The project went very well from beginning to end. Ian was the third contractor we asked to quote on the project. He gave us a prompt estimate and we agreed on the price the next day. We selected Ian because he seemed to understand what we wanted better than the others and made a couple suggestions to save us money. We also liked the fact that his price was based on labor only. I felt that we had more control over the costs and at the end we were able to return some unused materials. As far as the job itself, Ian came when he said he would and finished the project in a timely fashion. Since it was in our master bedroom, we appreciated the fact that there was minimal disruption and the room was cleaned at the end of each day. He took great care to protect the rest of the room. We did have a couple unexpected issues that came up, as you would expect in a job of this type, but we resolved them promptly to our mutual satisfaction. It is obvious to me that Ian loves his work. He's a talented craftsman who takes pride in his work and tries to please his customer. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone and I have a future project in mind myself. He will be the first person I contact for a quote.

It went great. Ian Morgan of General Home Repair and Remodeling provided us with the best service I've seen and I've seen a lot. He not only does great work he is easy to talk to. If you use Ian be sure you tell him of any concerns you have at any point during the job.

My house sustained significant damage due to flooding. I hired Ian Morgan d/b/a General Home Repair and Remodeling. He returned my call the same day I called him. We made an appointment for him to view the damage. I instantly liked the way Ian conducted himself. He is the epitome of professionalism. He assessed damages, made recommendations and when we agreed on the work to be done, provided me with a detailed materials list, labor cost and a contract we both signed. He told me the date he would begin the work and the approximated completion date barring any unforeseen problems. Ian came to work exactly the date and time he promised and showed up every day thereafter. If he was running late, even for a few minutes, he would call. He completed the work exactly when he estimated it would be done. All of the work Ian performed looks wonderful and I couldn't be more pleased. The kitchen cabinets are perfect as is the new flooring in my downstairs area. I did not hesitate to leave Ian alone in my home while I worked. He is amazing and such a nice, friendly and polite individual to work with. I plan on using him again this summer for some additional work on my home. I HIGHLY recommend him.

Ian is a skilled professional who managed to make our old bathroom look new! While it took longer than expected, it was certainly worth the extra time.

First let me say as much as I hate to admit it I am very hard to please. I didn't know who to call to do my kitchen backsplash so I joined Angie's List and called the company with the best reviews which was Ian Morgan at General Home Repair & Remodeling. He exceeded my expectations! All I needed to finish my newly remodeled kitchen was the kitchen backsplash. I also wanted the job done quickly because of family coming to visit and when I explained why I wanted to get the job done quickly he worked me in his already busy schedule. Ian was prompt, professional, returned phone calls immediately, reasonably priced, kept the work area clean, quick and efficient. You could tell he knew what he was doing. There were no hidden costs either. I love my backsplash! The kitchen looks great and when we get ready to do some more work in the spring I'll definitely give him a call.

Ian made time to meet on my schedule to review renovations needed to help sell a house I'd inherited. His suggestions were spot on, his rates and time frame more than reasonable. He was on time (or early) and delivered estimates when promised. Fortunately for us and unfortunately for Ian, the house sold as-is before we could get to work on it. I was looking forward to seeing it put right, but the offer in hand was irresistable.

Ian is very nice to work with. This is the second time he has done work for me. The quality of his work is excellent, and he is very pleasant when there are decisions to be made. He came this time to install tile in a small bathroom and put recessed lights in my kitchen. After he came, I asked him if he would also put crown molding in the bathroom. He was happy to do it, but in preparing to install it, he found that the ceiling was bowed. When he went up above to find the problem, it turned out to be a large repair job, and he had another job scheduled to start in a few days. He worked very diligently, and could not have been nicer about this unexpected delay. He came back early the next week to finish because he knew I had out-of-town company coming and needed that bathroom, even though I told him we could manage.

Not enough good things can be said about Ian Morgan of General Home Repair and Remodeling. We were searching Angies List for a new company or individual to help us with our kitchen remodel. We decided to hire Ian Morgan based off of the reviews we read on Angies List, the fact that he works alone and he gave us a free estimate. We were not dissapointed with our decision. Ian was always professional, courteous and made sure our needs were met. He always showed up on time and respected our house as it was his own. I felt I could 100% trust him in our house. His quality of craftsmanship and attention to detail was more than we could ever ask for. We hired Ian for Labor purposes only. We provided all materials for the kitchen remodel and he installed everything above our expectations. I definitely plan on hiring General Home Repair again for other projects around the house. Ian is a true professional. When I first contacted him, he came within a few days to give me an estimate, and he was very quick to return phone calls. He was always very prompt and very organized and did exactly what he said he would do when he said he would do it. He went above and beyond, including meeting me at the home improvement store to pick out a lighting fixture and the right kind of bulb. I could not be more pleased with the quality of his work. The bead board he installed looks wonderful, and he did a great job on an old cupboard, making it look like just the right piece for my kitchen. He also did a good job of cleaning up afterward. He is a joy to work with!

Mr. Morgan arrived on-time and gave an estimate on hanging the door. He then proceeded to complete the job. He is very neat and task oriented. Very safety cautious as well. Took the extra time to make sure the door worked probably. It is obvious that he takes pride in his work. When the job was finished, he cleaned up the places that he worked. Excellent option for remodeling jobs in this area.

He is a genious! He is wonderful and brilliant. He is honest, hardworking, pleasant, and professional. I would recommend Ian Morgan to anyone! He always calls me with a price while explaining what and how he is going to perform the work. His rates are extremely reasonable. He is very trustworthy. He has wonderful taste and completes the work very well. He is just fantastic!

Ian has been remodeling my house for the last two years. He is willing to do the work as I can pay for it. We have completed it in several stages. His work has been excellent in all respects. He is trustworthy and honest in his dealings with his customers. He is skilled and loves his job. I would highly recommend his remodeling service to anyone needing high quality work at a fair price.
