Ian did fantastic work, was thoroughly professional, informative, friendly. He explained things well and did an excellent job on each of the projects. I would definitely hire him in the future.

Ian came and researched the problems and immediately fixed the outlet issues and found that the failures in the lights weren't the switches but the fixtures themselves. He came back the same day and replaced them with ones I ran and got at Home Depot. He did a wonderful job and I really appreciate him.

I called ian. He came out to look at things and do his thing. We talked about the job, time frame and general cost. He never showed back up or called. He wasted my time on telling me all he could do and told me he would call with a quote. Never heard from him again. How can you trust a contractor that won't even call you back with a quote when promised. Beware

It went very well. Our communication regarding purchase of supplies and other stipulations was not good. Both of us were to blame for that.

His name is Ian Morgan. In every question you'll ask me, he's excellent, excellent, excellent. He does it right, very trustworthy, very responsible and honest. Oh yes, I would consider using General Home Repair & Remodeling again, hopefully next year when I'm gonna do my kitchen.

I can not say enough wonderful things about Ian and the quality of his work. He did everything I asked of him and more! He responded to my phone call and came out to quote the job when he said he would. He got the estimate to me as promised and started the project even earlier than expected. He was very professional and eager to get the job done in as a meticulous way possible. The quality of his craftsmanship is impeccable and we will definitely use him again. We will also refer him to any and everyone we know.

Ian was a pleasure to work with. He was always very professional, very prompt, and very efficient. My wife and I only have good things to say about his work and would highly recommend Ian / General Home Repair to anyone. As a matter of fact, we plan to use him for several projects in the coming months including another bathroom remodel and adding duct work and venting to get heat / air to a portion of our downstairs that does not currently have it. Ian met us at Lowe's to help us select tile and paint colors and show us what he would be using for framing out water damaged areas and the new window. As well as the other various material he would be using. He also delivered the material to our home for a very reasonable charge ($40). Ian always cleaned up in the work area and hallway after finishing up for the day. He was also very prompt and arrived exactly when he said he would each day and worked the whole time he was in our home. We had no concerns with having Ian in our home and he was always very courteous, polite, and patient with explaining things that my wife and I may not understand. Ian hauled off all of the old material and cleaned up very nicely after finishing up the job and even called a week after finishing up just to make sure things were still working okay in the new bathroom. The quality of Ian's work was great and he took a bathroom from 1967 and remodeled it into a room that could easily be in a very nice home that was built today.

Ian is just wonderful. He is timely, works hard, cleans job site up very well when day is over. Although several things I needed done were outside his normal scope of work (the outdoor work when he normally works jobs inside) they were completed with expertise and in good time. The porch was in very shabby condition; he replaced and redecked it and is now a work of art... and safe for my elderly mother to go down the couple of steps. Everyone who comes over mentions the porch. And it wasn't long ago before this work that he painted nearly all the inside of my house and did a lot of other work inside. I highly recommend Ian and his company and give him an A+++++! I'm so glad I found him.

Ian was fabulous!!! He worked by himself and was always on time!!! He was so helpful when I was picking out the new tile for my shower and around the tub. Ian was very punctual for the estimate as well as the installation. He suggested i meet him at Lowe's to pick out the materials, he helped with the choices, transported the materials and did the work in a very professional & quality manner. it looks great! i will definitely call Ian again, and already recommended him to a friend.

Ian did a great job for us. He is very professional and responsible. He always planned well before started to work, gave us good advice and worked on schedule. Everyday he cleaned up working area before leave. He is also very helpful and flexible with any last minute add-on. We are very satisfied with his work and highly recommend him.

Ian was so professional from the beginning. He arrived exactly when he said he would to give me an estimate, and we set up a time for him to come back and perform the work. Once again, he arrived exactly on time on the scheduled day and worked professionally and efficiently. He wears plastic covers on his shoes to protect the floor. This project went very well as have all the other projects Ian has done work in our own home for my wife and I. He has in the past remodeled a completely new bathroom for us from the bare frame work. He has also installed metal roofing on a storage building for us. On our rental home he has tiled the floor of a den and kitchen. We can't say enough good things about the quality of work Ian does. He is also very prompt, flexible for last minute add ons, and just an all around good craftsman for any task.

We arranged the repairs about two months before the actual work because it is a one man operation and, because of his excellent work, Ian is a very busy and sought after person. He arrived precisely on the agreed upon date and time. This is something rare in itself. Equally a pleasant surprise was the professionalism and quality of his work. Ian is meticulous and obsessively neat. I cannot say enough good things about the man and his talent. If you can get him, go for it. Just remember that good things are worth waiting for.

This is the 3rd time we have used Ian of General Home Repair and Remodeling to preform a service for us. And again he provided and excellent job. We had a very old kitchen faucet and it had developed a leak. Ian met my wife at Lowe's and helped her pick out a high quality replacement. He came to the house about as hour later and completed the replacement. As usual he did a great clean up and left us happy. Thanks again, Ian!

Ian found damage we did not know we had. He repaired it, even though it was not in the original contract. When he needed supplies, he went to the store I requested he go to and bought whatever items he needed, the store called me and the items were charged to my account. He was on time every day and worked over on days he had not originally planned to work late. He also worked extra days of the week he had not originally planned to work. He cleaned up materials that were to be disposed of outside of our house and to look at our house, you would never know there had been disposable materials there in the driveway. I would recommend Ian to anyone needing inside repair work done in their home.

Ian is a professional from start to finish. He arrived on time, took care in all that he did, fixed issues without complaint (even when that meant redoing an entire shower ceiling), and was completely trustworthy. We loved that he did not tack on an additional fee for the materials, even though he met us at the home improvement store to help us get everything we would need. He did a beautiful job on the walls, floor, and ceiling, and even successfully talked me into finishing it off with bullnose tiles (I'm cheap and was trying to save money, but am SO GLAD I listened to him!). The bathroom is beautiful and less than an hour after he left, we had another contractor come in to install something and he took one look at the bathroom and asked for Ian's name and number. Neither my husband nor I would hesitate to hire Ian again, or to recommend him to a friend or family member. His prices are reasonable, his tiling skills result in beautiful outcomes, and he really does quality work. In this day and age, Ian is a rare gem.

Ian Morgan is a jewe to work withl! His work is fantastic and he is very detail-oriented. He showed up every day promptly; he only had subcontractors for the first few days, mostly to move the furniture, but supervised them very closely, and did most of the work himself. (The subcontractors did some painting, but mostly moved furniture.) He cleaned up thoroughly after himself every day and left the house in good condition and very livable until he began the next day's work. The repairs on the walls and ceilings were problematic, especially with popcorn ceilings, but the results were first rate. The paint was picked up, the tools were purchased and transported with no problems. He even counseled me on what kind of paint to use. Even when I changed my mind on gloss vs high gloss on the trim practically the day before he was finished, he took that in stride and completed that change quickly. The kitchen cabinets were especially difficult, since another contractor had painted them in high gloss with a brush and had left them in terrible condition a couple of years ago. Ian took the cabinet door fronts home, stripped them (including the moulding for which he had to create a special tool to use to strip out the old paint) and painted the doors with many coats until they were like glass. He painted the cabinets themselves without removing them from the walls and without us unloading them, until they matched the cabinet doors. His work is terrific, he is very personable, and the cost was quite reasonable for the hours that he spent to make my interior look like new. And the window surround outside the house makes that window look like new, too. I can't recommend him enough!

I found Ian on Angie's List and had used him to do some work for me back in January. Since he did such an excellent job then I called him again for the work I needed this time. Just as expected, he did an excellent job again. He really pays attention to detail and does a great job of clean up when finished each day. From start to finish, Ian did a fantastic job on the house. In my past experience, it is difficult, if not impossible, to find someone who has skills in so many areas as Ian. He was great to deal with and his work was thorough while interrupting the household as little as possible. I could not recommend someone more highly. His prices were good and the quality of the work was excellent.

Ian is a jewel! He came when promised, quickly, because my elderly mother had just been released from the hospital and found it extremely difficult to use the shower without safety bars. He worked quickly, cleanly, and the bars were put up very sturdily. He will be doing more extensive work for me in in my house in the near future, and I look forward to it because I know the quality of his work and how professional and friendly he is.
