Workers arrived stating they didn't know where heat vents were to go. Stated they didnt know where air-return was to be placed.Because of the thoroughness and professionalism of salesperson, John Pimeau, I was able to provide the information. During the time the work was being done, one of the installers was seen frequently (more than once or twice) walking in the back yard, smoking, questionably talking on cell phone (I am unsure about this, although the posture suggested phone use). When the work was near completion, I went into the basement, noting the dust from necessary drilling. I offered the use of my Dyson vacuum, already in the basement, so the worker could clean up. They said they would do this. I heard the vacuum running. I signed off on the work without thorough inspection, as I have trust in Tri Cities. There was no evidence of clean up--drilling dust and particles over the rug, furniture throughout. I called Tri Cities and the manager of the installation department came to the house. I regret that I don't know his name. He took pictures of the dirt/dust. He vacuumed and wiped the furniture. Several days later I received a $50 debit card, note pads and pens, an a large tote bag, along with an apology from the CEO! Mistakes happen. Workers aren't always up to par This company shows excellent customer responsibility!! I would recommend them to anyone for their professional work.

Tri-Cities charged $267.00 to replace a bad igniter on my York furnace. They were here for 33 minutes. The part they put on the furnance is a universal igniter, which cost $26.00. I had had the igniter replaced by Kingsport Heating & Air some years ago for about half that price, with an OME part, so I called them to see how much they would have charged. You guessed it, $137.00. So I called Tri-Cities to see if they would make an adjustment. No, they said. We warranty our work for one year. Well, so does your competitor, Kingsport Heating & Air and they charge half what you do, and use original manufacturers parts, I said. There's nothing we can do, they said. Well, the next time I call somebody out, it won't be Tri-Cities. Too expensive and they use after market parts.

This was on a Sunday morning on one of the hottest days we had last summer. I called around 7:00 or 7:30 am & left a message. I was contacted I had never used this company before. The service man was at my house at 9:30 and had my heat pump working shortly thereafter. He also gave me the option of purchasing a year service contract for only a few more dollars than the initial service would have been. He stayed until he made sure that my heat pump was cooling.

We have always been happy with them. They have been our go-to heating company for years. All of the technicians are friendly, competent and helpful. They always call ahead of time before they arrive. They also send a reminder for us to make an appointment for the inspections and we are always fit right into the schedule.

Their repairman stated the system was good for another 6 years. 6 months later the system quit. Another Heating and AC company was called and showed me the condensing unit was plugged with dirt and rust and burned out. The new company stated this would have been evident at the time of Tri City's inspection. As a result of Tri City's lousy inspection I had to pay $6,500 for a new system. Had they told me there was a problem, the previous owner would have had to replace the system. Personally I think the previous owner and Tri City were working together. I would never use them again.

I am very pleased with the work. I have experienced no troubles with the unit. I would recommend their services.

They are very good people. They always remind you of your up coming appointments. The price is very reasonable. If you purchase their annual package, they will give you first priority. They come out in a reasonable amount of time and get the job done. They are thorough and excellent. They are also professional and polite.

The technicians are always professional and clean. They even wear foot booties in my home to protect my floors. The price is also reasonable and they respond quickly.

The system has been highly efficient and they did a wonderful job. They have backed up their work with a warranty that offers a bi yearly inspection.

The air conditioner wouldn't be stay running. The temperature kept rising and it was too hot to open the windows. The first technician came out and replaced the water pump and changed the thermostat but it didn't correct the problem. The second technician came out, went step by step and discovered the issue with the 220 breaker behind the A/C. The whole thing was rusted andthere was a small piece on the corner had broken off. They replaced it and I wasn't charged for labor for the second trip.

We have a service contract with them for the past five years. This company is professional and I would highly recommend them to anyone. We plan using them again in the future.

They have always been great. My brother was here during the work and he is very critical. However, he was extremely complimentary of their work. They found that air duct was not insulated which really affected my energy bill. I was so pleased because I would have never known if they did not do the research needed. They also made sure their shoes were clean and left no mess behind. They were courteous and professional.

They were efficient, too, they got the work done quickly and didn't leave any mess behind. They just went about it all in a very professional manner, from the initial contact to the workers themselves. The owner even followed up with me, on a personal level, which I was very touched by.

The heat pump went out last night. We chose Tri City because of its excellent rating on Angie's List. When we called Tri City this morning, they said that they wouldn't be able to come in the morning, but would be able to in the afternoon. We were surprised at how quickly they could respond. This morning we got a call saying that they could actually fit us in earlier. And they called us when the technician left their office. So we knew almost to the minute when the technician would arrive. Jim, the technician, was courteous and professional. He checked to see if the heat pump was still under warranty (unfortunately, it was not), and he explained our choices. He offered us a year's maintenance contract (inspection, cleaning, refrigerant, if necessary, and a discount on parts). I know that there is some debate about the value of these contracts; but since our pump is 5 years old we decided to take it. We did not feel pressure to sign for the contract. The price of the visit reflects not only the service call and the price of the condenser, but also the contract. Jim was here less than an hour. We were very pleased.

They came on three days to finish the job. I found them on Angie’s list and they had a great rating. I have had previous service with this company many times and I knew that their work would be satisfactory and done by people who knew what they were doing. I was having problems with my air conditioner, so a technician came out. He did a diagnostic check, and he found a bad condensing motor and a fan blade and water pouring problems and a whole lot of other things too. On the same day that he came out, he called in a comfort consultant, who came that afternoon. The guy that came was John, and he did a thorough check of the heating and cooling area. He even looked up in the attic at my ventilation. He was concerned with these problems and recommended a replacement since the unit was getting somewhat old. They all recommended that I have a system installed; I had a Trane XL-16I 3-ton completely pumped system along with pollen and mold spore filters. They also did some insulation of the ducts. I knew it would save me a lot of energy in the future. Hence it was designed to cut in. Derek and Jonathan came out on two days and did everything that John had recommended. They came early in the morning and worked until dark. They came back the next day to finish it. The quality of the work was good and I would call them the next time if I needed an air conditioner or heating serviced. Their pricing is a little higher than the ordinary people that will come out but I got what I paid for, and I was glad to pay this amount because I knew they were going to do a good job. I have been working with these people for years. They were nice. I didn’t see anything bad at all. They mostly came out and checked. We had a guy come out that I would recommend, and it couldn’t have been more efficient than it was. They did everything they said they would; they put in everything they said they would.

We are really happy and 100% satisfied with them. I couldn't believe the care the technician took in checking out our systems.

The work was done very well; they’ve always done a very good job. They’re very professional and well-trained. They’re not the cheapest, but I feel like I get my money’s worth.

The last time they were here was several years ago, but it was a good experience. The technician did a good job overall. I also spoke with them regarding an estimate for some rental property (I wanted to have a heat pump and system installed there).
