Tri-City A/C was one of three companies to provide a proposal for this work. They were not the lowest bidder but provided a superior proposal that was based on competent engineering knowledge and a high quality humidification unit. I was given references who I contacted and received very positive responses. The work was completed in one day on the day scheduled. Before they left our house, the operation of the system was well explained and no mess was left behind. I recommend Tri-City A/C without reservation. The date of the installation is approximate; within a week or two.

They are great. They are the ones I always use. They come out twice a year because I have a service contract with them. I have two air conditioning units because I live in a big house. I have gas furnace downstairs and heat pump upstairs. They take care all of it. They are great. They are wonderful. The contract is great because I can call them on emergency basis and they come 24/7, doesn't matter what day and what time. They are trustworthy and professional. I feel very comfortable with them coming into my home. I'm sixty five and it's just not real safe today but I feel really comfortable with these people. They have a real good service contract. I've checked the prices with other places but these are very competitive with their prices. They are the only people I use.

They are pretty expensive. They don't charge you when you have a maintenance agreement which is about $170 a year. The advantage is if you have an emergency they will be out within 24 hours and they don't charge you overtime. The only thing is if you have something done - for parts and labor they are extremely expensive but they are reliable.

I highly recommend them to anyone. They really do a great job.

I was really impressed with the people who came by. I asked alot of questions and they were very knowledgeable. They didn't seem rushed and were happy to take the time to talk to me.

The service man came out and performed an inspection and said it needs a jump to try and get it going again. He told me that it would cost $160 to get a jump and it would just be a band-aid and it still might not work. I told him that I would pass and they still charged me $60 just to come out. I hired another company to come out that did the exact same thing for only $27. They seemed professional, but the price they were charging was way too high and I wouldn't call them again. I asked them about other options and they said they could install another compressor for $2200-$2300. The other company told me that price seemed high as well.

he outside unit on our two year old Allied Air HVAC system stopped working on Friday evening, leaving emergency heat only. We checked Angie's List for HVAC companies in the Johnson City area, and called Tri-Cities Air Conditioning at 8am the following Monday. Their technician was on site within two hours of our call, quickly diagnosed the problem as a control wiring fault within the inside unit and corrected it immediately. The system came up immediately and has continued to work properly since then. The technician was courteous, knowledgeable, thorough, and competent. I would not hesitate to call on Tri-Cities Air Conditioning again.

We have been perfectly satisfied with them. We picked them because of the recommendations on Angie’s List. They came back and installed it in half the time they had estimated. It cost us about $500 less than we expected it to be which was really good. I think we spent less than $1000 and we had figured it was going to be at least $1500. I think the price was great because we really expected it to be quite a bit more. The quality of the work at this point seems good. We haven’t had any problems at all. We made an appointment and had to cancel it ourselves and they rescheduled at a time that was very convenient for us. They were there when they said they would be there and in fact, they were there and done in less than the time they had estimated. We would recommend them to others and would use them again in the future.

They did a good job but it was a little expensive. I don't know if it was the going rate but I was satisfied with the work. I haven't had any problems with it. I would use them again because I have a service contract with them now.

This was an example of outstanding service. I arrived home from work about 6:00 in the evening. The outside temperature was 95*--the inside temperature was 82*. Apparently something in the cooling unit had been damaged in severe thunderstorms the night before. I called Tri City about 6:10 and a real person answered the phone! She advised me of an "after hours charge" of $90 which I was happy to pay. The technician called my back about 8 minutes after I hung up with the office. He told me he would be here by 7:00 PM. He arrived about 6:50 PM. He found the cause of the trouble by about 7:10 and had a replacement part on the truck. He was very nice and concerned about trampling my Day Lillies around the outside unit (I was not concerned). He had the unit fixed by about 7:35. Yes, it was expensive but I believe the outstanding level of service justified the expense. I am a big fan of Tri City AC now.

Our heat pump did not work this morning. I called Tri-Cities Air Conditioning at 8:30am. They called back within an hour. Tina (technician) was at our house within an hour of calling. She was very thorough, efficient and friendly. Everything was professionally handled in a quick manner. We are extremely pleased with the service and professionalism. Would use them again in a heartbeat!

Called on Fri for service on faulty unit as well as yearly checkup for both our units. Appointment was made for Monday afternoon. Received a courteous call on Monday around 1:30pm from Susan in the office letting me know the service guy was on his way. Mike arrived within 20mn of call. Thorough inspection of both units was done, malfunction of the unit was pointed out and problem explained then fixed. Detailed bill was written then we were offered the option of getting the service contract which within the year would save a minimum of 200 dollars. We decided on the service contract.(the replaced part was a bit more than I would have guessed, but was further discounted because we took the contract) There was never any pressure into buying, it just made sense getting it. I will definitely recommend this company and continue using it.

I checked some references before hiring this company. Everyone I talked to was pleased with the work they did. They explained the job well before beginning. System was thoroughly tested before they left. A minor annoyance was the length of the job. It took 3 days. But there was a lot to do. New heat pump is more efficient than the old one and it is working well.

IT WAS HOT AND I REALIZED MY UNIT WAS NOT WORKING ON THURSDAY THE 27TH. I CALLED AND WAS NOT ABLE TOLD THERE WOULD NOT BE A TECH AVAILBLE TILL TUESDAY THE 2ND. THE TECH WAS FRIENDLY, KNOWLEDABLE, AND EFFICIENT. THE ACTUAL REPAIR OF THE UNT WAS ONLY $32.....HOWEVER...I OPTED TO GET A MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT WHICH TOTALED TO $197....WHICH WAS WELL WORTH THE SERVICES INCLUDED AND UNEXPECTED BREAKDOWNS.
