They had to make two trips to fix our unit, but only charged us for one. (The first trip, the unit was frozen so Tina came later that afternoon to fix it once it had thawed.) Had to replace the compressor. They juggled their schedule to make sure we were taken care of before the weekend and without having to pay for an after-hours service call. Prompt, efficient, friendly - every good adjective you could use to describe this company applies.

Great ! Franklin Lane came out himself and personally checked out my unit the next day. He said everything was working fine and my wife said he was very polite. He didn't even charge us anything for the visit. I really appreicate him taking time out of his very busy schedule to check our unit. I will definitely use his company for future services. Very professional, arrived on time and actually was early which is unheard of for most companies. Tina was very detailed and explained some things to me on any questions I had. Gave me some tips and pointers to insure my unit continued to work properly. I would not hesitate to contact them for service work in the future.

I can't say enough about the service we received. The temperature outside was 90+ so having an inoperable unit was a big problem. Within 2 hours of the call they were at the house and diagnosing the problem, a malfunctioning condensate pump. He explained the issue and made a trip to retrieve a new pump. Cost was very reasonable especially considering it was a weekend call. Quick, efficient, professional service. Highly recommend to anyone in need of service.

We asked Franklin Thompson to come to our home to inspect our old HVAC unit that was on its last leg. Franklin was kind enough to meet with us late after we got off work (after he had put in a long work day himself.). After taking the time to look at our old units and look around the house and gather all the needed information , he wrote up an estimate on installing two new HVAC units. We didn't bother getting other quotes as we trust Frank and his team to do a professional job based on past dealing with them. His team were here working in our home for five days. Frank, Tina and Gordon are honest and hard workers. My husband and I are very pleased with the care they took to keep our home clean, show up on time and answer any concerns we may have. The install went very well. Franklin Lane provided a team that did a great job completing the service exactly as promised. The team arrived on Monday and completed the install in two days, as well as some repair of duct work and a new vent for the gas furnace. We found the team to be very professional and friendly. We would recommend them for anyone else we know looking for heat and air; we also plan on continuing to use them to keep our new unit serviced.

Went over the top and answer all my questions and I leaned a lot about my system. I told them after they finished I was going to install a Nest system and they offered look at the wiring to see if it would work. They even tried to help me trace the wire going up to the thermostat. They did not think the Nest would work on my current wiring but the compatibility website showed it would. I wired it up and it worked right away. I was so happy with the level of service I received today and I will definitely use them again and also recommend them.

Franklin Lane made my experience of having to buy a new heat pump a great experience. Gordon and Tina from the crew were also excellent. Everyone was courteous and friendly. They took their time to share their knowledge and didn't try to sell me on a product that I didn't need. I was treated as a valued customer. They were always prompt and even a few minutes early. I really liked how they cleaned as they worked as there no mess left over from one day to the next. They showed sincere concern for my issues with the heat and humidity without air. They let me borrow a couple of window air conditioners to keep cool until they could get to my installation and complete the job. Franklin's communication skills was great and he was always good about returning my calls and keeping me informed of what was going to happen and when. It was a pleasure doing business with them, I would recommend them as the best of the best, and am enjoying my purchase.

This couldn't have gone more smoothly. The owner, Franklin Lane, came out to give me a quote and rather than try to upsell me to a system that I really didn't need, he was honest and very professional when he recommended a new system for us. When the time came to install the system, the crew was at our house WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE, if not a few minutes EARLY! They were all very friendly, they kept me informed as to the progress of the install, and finished sooner than expected. Yes, Trane equipment can be a little more expensive than some others, but if you want the best, you can expect to pay a little more. The technician was on-time and very knowledgeable. It was determined the unit was low on freon and it was recharged. Performance is significantly better now. I was encouraged to monitor the leak and performance. There was no pressure applied to replace the system. I would recommend this outfit based on their professionalism.

This was just a routine check of the system. Nothing found to repair. The service person was Tina; she was very professional, arrived early actually (that's rare), very personable and seemed to be very knowledgeable about the heating/cooling system. I was surprised to see a woman working in this capacity but I commend her for it and would certainly have her back for the next checkup. Thanks!

This work was performed on a Sunday. I contacted their company late evening on Saturday. I am thoroughly pleased and highly recommend this company. Overall, they are very professional and knowledgeable of their trade. I have used them on numerous occasions, however this is my first review for them on Angie's List.

Our 15 year old gas furnace stopped working during the coldest week this winter so far. We had another Heat and AC contractor come out twice and they couldn't figure out what the problem was. After they blamed it on the Propane company regulator, and the propane delivery man looked at it and said the heat exchanger was cracked, we knew we needed a company that could diagnose a problem. We called Lane Thompson and left a message. Within 5 minutes, Franklin Lane called us back. Despite the fact he had received a lot of calls to fix some units, he made a point of offering to come out the same day to see what was wrong and give us a quote on a new Trane gas furnace. He was on time and the quote was within our budget with a great lifetime warranty, since we are planning on staying in our house for a long time. He ordered a replacement unit on the way to his next service call. The next day, his crew was out to uninstall the old furnace and the following morning they started installing the replacement unit. They made sure the new unit was up to code which the old one was not. Franklin Lane and his crew were the most professional crew I have had work on our furnace. We will be hiring this company again for replacement or our 15 year old air conditioning unit this coming spring. We couldn't be happier and we are very picky.
