No work performed. He never contacted us about an estimate.

My experience with him was terrible and the quote he gave me was about two time what others were charging. Then he got indignant with me because I did not like the numbers he gave me after which I told him to leave. He gave me a quote of around sixty thousand dollars while the guy who is now doing the actual work is doing it for around twenty thousand dollars. I do not want to deal with him again in the future.

They never showed up to give me an estimate.

I didn't go with him. He was okay but he was a little expensive. He was a good guy. I did research on him and looks like about everybody had good things to say about the quality of work but he was a little bit expensive than my other bids. He was on time and friendly the whole work. It was pretty good for everything else other than the price.

Chad Henry Construction did a great job. They were very professional and punctual. They give me quality work.

Very pleased with our experience with Chad Henry Construction from start (estimate and contract) to finish (completion of projects.) During the construction projects Chad and his crew showed up in a timely manner each day and put in a full days work. In addition, we were pleased with the attention to detail and workmanship he and crew performed. Chad has good communication skills and informed me of any suggested minor changes along the way before performing them.

EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT!!! When Chad and his crew came to do the remodel of our bathroom we ended up with a rebuild! We live in an old farmhouse and when removing the fixtures there were hidden "treasures" that had to be either fixed, repaired or replaced (walls, plumbing, floor). Chad and crew were so great and powered through until we were at the bare bones. Chad kept us informed all along the way and gave us options an discussed everthing with us before going ahead. We ended up with a brand spanking new bathroom that we love! We cannot be happier with the finished product - it looks wonderful and is so much better than we dreamed it could be! Chad and everyone that works with him are super clean, very considerate and most of all they really know their stuff! It was a sincere pleasure to have them in our home. We are planning a kitchen project in the near future and will definitely have Chad Henry Construction do the job! Excellent work and an all around great experience! The project went extremely well. Initially, Chad and I surveyed the area for an estimate that he ranged from $ 8600 to $9000 depending on material costs and labor (considering the terrain grade), which I accepted. Chad returned on the day work was to begin and told me that he's been thinking about my project. He told me that he was concerned about the soil density, and that he wanted to examine the area further. He made a careful evaluation of the area where I wanted the main supports for the deck to be embedded, and he explained to me that he was concerned about the possibility of the structure settling over time due to the sandy composition of the soil at the location I had in mind. He noted the lack of subsurface rock formations to provide a firm foundation for the cement-encased main supports. He continued to probe the terrain in other areas and finally suggested a nearby alternate location, incorporating a cantilever design for the deck with beefed-up main supports that brought the deck as close to the river as practicable, and he also suggested construction of a flight of stairs down from the deck to just above the river. I realized that this arrangement was considerably more elaborate than my original sketch, but I told him that I liked the plan and gave him the go-ahead. The finished deck exceeded our expectations, and it came in within the original estimate. We are extremely pleased with the level of quality of our deck and walkway. I wholeheartedly recommend Chad Henry Construction to anyone in need of a professional, reliable, and caring contractor.

The project was a great success, and working with Mr. Henry was a very satisfying experience. I work overseas for the Navy, and while on a visit home we searched through the classifieds for a contractor for this project. Among others, we contacted Chad Henry Construction. My wife Peggy, Chad, and I discussed the project we had in mind. I provided him with a floor plan showing interior dimensions, and door and window locations. I wanted the building to be fully insulated, with an air conditioning unit installed in the Studio section. I also explained that I would require that he work directly with my wife on site because I would be overseas, but to communicate with me in Italy via email regarding changes or unforeseen developments, which he did. For example, my original plan was for the structure to be full brick over wood framing, but Chad informed me (after determining the material costs involved) that the project could be approximately $5,500 less expensive for half wall height brick with vinyl siding the rest of the way. I was very impressed that Mr. Henry's motivation was more aligned with my interests than with his bottom line. The project was carried out through the early 2012 winter season, and Peggy and I are totally satisfied with the quality of construction and Chad Henry Construction's reliability, level of effort, and Chad's "easy going" nature. It truly was a pleasure working with him and his crew, and I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone needing the services of a very professional construction contractor. Incidentally, in May of this year we contracted Chad and his crew to construct a large wood deck and walkway on our property . That project is going very well, and I will review it separately on Angie's list.

We did not use Chad because we decided not to purchase the home that needed the remodel. But Chad was extremely thorough, detail-oriented, and professional. We would definitely call him again.

We hired Chad Henry to completely remodel our master bath and replace an exterior window. We took everything out down to the wall studs and did a complete renovation. Chad was always in touch with every aspect of the construction. The work was completed per the agreed schedule and the workmanship was excellent. The crew left the house clean at the end of each day. In addition to the bathroom, when we needed our roof replaced, Chad brought his roofer to provide an estimate. Even though Chad was not directly involved in the project, he still stayed in the loop to insure everything went well; and it did. We will definitely call Chad for any future renovations.

I liked that he was very prompt, and he was very professional. He was good. I can't say anything that I disliked about him.

Chad was recommended by a friend of my wife and I looked him up on Angies List as well. We had a general idea of what we wanted but Chad worked with us to refine the plan, pointing out problems we might encounter with our original ideas. He then made a drawing to lets us see what it would look like and see if we would want to make any changes.He gave us an estimate that was lower than we expected. He and his crew were very professional during the whole process. The sub-contracrtors he used were very professional as well and Chad was on hand to make sure we were satisfied with their work.Chad went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect matching our existing siding and roof shingles exactly. Our new sunroom is beautiful and looks like it was part of the original house construction. Our overall experience was wonderful and we have enlisted Chad for another project in the near future.

We recently purchased a home built in the early 1950's. With many needs for improvements and repairs, we were given Chad Henry's name to address a driveway/drainage issue. With his knowledge and experience he and his crew solved our problems in a timely and very professional manner. We have since used Chad for several other small projects and have an ongoing list with his name on it.

We met Chad Henry, strictly by chance, in 2007. We were exploring the Washington County Area of Northeast Tennessee as a possible place to move to for our future retirement, after a vacation visit to the area in 2006. While looking at several new homes in the Joneborough area, we walked through a spec home that was built by Chad Henry Construction, and it was getting some last minute finishing touches by Chad's electrician. He directed us to a homesite on Stagecoach Road that Chad was working on that day. After many visits , and looking at homes that were available in the area, we were unable to find one that suited our needs, or could be renovated to accomplish our desires. Involving Chad in this process, we began to realize that this young man was driven by one thing, and one thing only: Our complete satisfaction of having our dream home become a reality. You see, we did this from 550 miles away. Chad assisted us in physically looking at over 100 properties that we found on line, as well as properties available through a local realtor. Being "out - of - towners", we had to rely on his judgement as to the suitability of the property, it's future potential (or risk) , and could only have done so with the high level of our trust in him and his knowledge of the area, which he earned. Try to imagine, if you will, having a Home Builder give you reasons NOT to buy a specific piece of property or house because of concerns he discovered through research, when his livelihood depends on you buying a piece of property or a house and contracting with him to build or renovate a house ! That's the caliber, professionalism, and integrity of Chad J. Henry. During construction, Chad sent us weekly updates with video and digital photo's of the process and the progress on our new home. We spoke to him almost daily. Anytime we called him, he called back immediately. About every 6 weeks (the full construction process took one year) we would make a trip down to meet with Chad, and various suppliers to pick out counter tops, lighting, heating and ac systems, cabinet makers, paving contractors, tile installers, plumbers, etc. Now that the house is completed (we are planning to move in full time later this year (2011) while I am still working), Chad is renovating a 1200 square foot utility building which was on the property when we purchased it, as my hobby workshop. The best descriptions I can provide of the quality of the experience are : 1. Chad builds everything as if it was his own and he was going to live in it. 2. His desire to provide 100% Customer Satisfaction is unequaled. 3. He has always been truthful in every aspect of the process (and has not allowed us to make stupid mistakes). 4. I would highly recommend his services, which range from repairing a deck, to building a custom home, and everything in between, with no hesitation whatsoever. 5. In addition to having built our dream home, we got the added benefit of having a new friend for life.
