Chad Henry Construction

Chad took over for another contractor that didn't know what he was doing. He inherited quite a mess. Chad investigated all of the prior work thoroughly, and was honest in his assessment that everything the prior contractor did would not last, and needed to be redone. I was unhappy, to say the least, but had my suspicions before Chad even looked at it. Chad did a thorough inspection and measurements for his quote, and made sure he asked all the questions he needed for an accurate quote, and addressed all of my concerns. After hiring Chad, he and his crew got to work at the time that I was given. He and his crew were very professional and very curteous, and I never had any issues with them during their time here. The crew cleaned up after themselves every day and always asked if it was ok to leave any tools or equipment at the house. Chad is not one of those guys who "does it all", and if you ask him, he will tell you. Each profession (Tile, drywall, paint, plumbing, electrical) has it's own specialized tooling and methodology, and he understands that in order to achieve the best results, one must use those professionals who work their trade every day. Chad made sure everything was lines up at each stage of the project, and dealt with all of the trades that he subcontracted. Each of these trades were fully licensed and bonded and were people who Chad could count on to do an excellent job. At every stage of the project, if there were ANY questions that needed to be answered about how I wanted something to look, or options that I had, Chad NEVER hesitated to ask me how I wanted it to be. I did not have to worry about Chad just doing "what he thought I wanted" like you may find with other contractors. Any concern that I had, Chad addressed, and resolved. I changed my mind on quite a few things, and Chad rolled with the punches. The most important thing after quality, Chad kept himself within budget! Even with some of the changes I made, he was able to keep me close enough to my original quote that I was impressed. I had expected a larger final bill than what I received, and I was quite relieved. I will be doing more projects at my home, and will ONLY be using Chad Henry Construction and his sub-contractors for the job. Chad takes pride in his work, and stands behind it. I had hired my own electrician, who actually introduced me to Chad, but in the future I will not be using them, as I had trouble with them! I will be using Chad to spearhead ALL work in the future. You will not be unhappy with hiring Chad Henry Construction. I wouldn't pay attention to any other negative review, because Chad is a straight shooter. If he cannot do something, he will tell you. If he has policies in place, he will tell you. Old school pride and work ethic.

Excellent job. The deck and Pergola were finished in three workdays and with outstanding attention to structural integrity. I have had Chad Henry accomplish two other exterior construction jobs for us in the past (reviewed on Angie's List) and I am again very satisfied with his and his crews work.

OUTSTANDING! Chad and his crew are absolutely first class. They are prompt, professional, honest, hard working, clean and the quality of their work is second to none. I have utilized many contractors throughout the past and without a doubt Chad is the best I have worked with. Chad created a laundry room and installed a complicated laundry chute for us and worked with us to blend it in to a piece of antique furniture. Chad and his crew took the time to clean up each day after they finished and left the house as clean as when they arrived. Chad is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Chad brought the project in under his estimate (which was priced fair to start with) and in the amount of time promised. I WILL use Chad Henry again in the future and have recommended him to my son for a remodel that he is planning. I highly recommend Chad Henry Construction for your home repair / remodel needs.

Chad was very easy to work with and the quality of my finished deck it great. The project was done in 2 weeks once they started and after the cleanup it was like they had never been on my property.

Chad returned all calls promptly. All jobs were completed within the alloted time frames that were given. The job site was cleaned up appropriately afterwards and tasks were completed. All workers, including Chad, maintained a professional stature and were courteous. I would highly recommend Chad Henry Construction to anyone looking for any type of work done to their home!

Fantastic job building a beautiful new wooden deck after deconstructing and disposing of the old, splintered one that came with our house. We had to wait a few weeks before they could get us scheduled but once they got working, Chad and his staff were extremely efficient. Whole job was done in less than a week, not including the breaks they had to take due to rain. Chad even came by our house 1-2 weeks afterward to make sure everything was to our liking. Very professional and focused on customer satisfaction. Highly recommended!

Chad and his team did an excellent job. Chad worked with us from the initial quote to the finished job keeping us informed and educated throughout the process. Even through those rough remodel times, Chad kept to his schedule and managed the crews to not only get the job done, but do so with great workmanship and quality. I would gladly recommend Chad and plan to use him again for more projects.

After decades of frustration dealing with the construction industry in this area, it was a pleasant surprise dealing with Chad. He and his crew were very professional, honest and helpful. They did everything they said they were going to do and the work got done in a reasonable amount of time. As an added bonus, the quality of the work was outstanding, excellent workmanship. We are very pleased with the result and highly recommend Chad.

He said, 'I can't give you a firm quote because I just never know and I don't want to get myself locked in to it.' Technically he said this is the quote, it could cost more. He was more flexible, it is a good thing and a bad thing. It could come out more but, it could also come out less.

EXCELLENT JOB DONE! I can't say enough positive things about his and his workers job that they did. The deck turned out better than I could have imagined. They worked quickly and did an outstanding job and cleaned up all of their debris and took it with them when they left. We have asked Mr. Henry and his crew to do another job for us, once he has time to fit us into his busy schedule. We would recommend him for any job. His work is impeccable and you can tell that he takes pride in his work.

Chad Henry and his workers were exceptional. They showed up on time and worked very hard. They were very professional and always left the area in excellent condition. Chad went above and beyond to keep us updated as to the progress and discussed options to make it the best deck possible. He did everything he said he would and more. He discovered some water damage where the deck had been built up against the siding. He replaced the flashing and siding and sealed it so that we should not have any problems in the future. I would recommend him to anyone who wants a quality job at a fair price. We hope to start our next project with Chad soon.

Both times Chad was prompt, friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He noticed things I didn't and gave great advice. i will be using Chad for both of my projects and recommend him to all my friends.

Chad and his crew completed a wonderful deck, fully dressed out with skirt boards. We were impressed with the precision and attention to detail. Chad remained on site with his workers and the deck was completed in one day. They were on time, never wasted any time, had all materials needed, and everyone worked well together. We were kept informed of the cost, when the work would start and be completed, and we were happy with all the suggestions offered. The workers returned the next morning and replaced some pressure treated boards on another deck. Everything was cleaned up on the work site. This is what you hope for when you hire someone to do a job. The workers did not take shortcuts and the quality was superb. We will definitely use them again.

WOW!!!! I have waited a few days to write this review because my husband and I have been sitting on this work of art, mesmerized! Chad brought our vision to life and then some. I cannot say enough about the quality of work and his and his crew's professionalism. I will try not to ramble, but remember..... I am still in awe! When I first contacted Chad, he responded the same day. We played phone tag over a weekend, but after we connected he came over within a couple days to give us an estimate. Initially, he thought that his crew would not be available for about a month. We appreciated his honesty and told him that it was no rush, just let us know (I just wanted it before July). The next week he called and said that he had unexpected time in the schedule and could go ahead and get us done. Wow! He was not kidding! By the next week, he had the materials delivered and work started by the next Monday. The work was completed by the end of the next week. While they worked quickly, quality was never compromised. We truly believe this deck will outlive us, and possibly our house. It is extremely solid! We were so impressed with the time that they took to cut the wood to fit the corners and under the sliding glass door, that we took pictures to show people at work. As a matter of fact, I believe they actually improved the ease of sliding the glass door, by how they placed the boards. Another impressive thing about Chad is the continued communication. Whenever he had a question about our preference, or a suggestion about what he thought would improve the project, he contacted one of us for input. While he only needed to contact us a few times, we felt that we were constantly included in the project. Even though we had never met Chad before, we felt very comfortable with Chad and his crew here working while we were at work. My husband (which is EXTREMELY security conscious) felt at ease giving Chad the code to our garage so that he could get to our current water hook up (we did not have outside water spigot). Our confidence was well placed. They left the garage just as they had found it each day, if not better (not real sure they did not sweep it out regularly) :) Speaking of cleaning, it seemed that each day they policed their work areas and kept debris at a minimum. Then when all was said and done, there was not so much as a sticker for one of the pieces of lumber to be found. Another aspect of their conscientiousness was that each day when they left, they made sure the areas and deck were either safe or secured to protect our fabulous four legged children. Talk about giving us a great peace of mind! Not only will we use Chad Henry Construction in the future, he will be the ONLY contractor that we use! We highly recommend that you do the same.

Considering he never showed up, not well.

This is the third time in the last year that we have employed Chad Henry's Construction and we have been completely satisfied every time. The first part of this project was to rebuild the front porch using composite decking and synthetic railings and posts (we hate painting). We also had the front stairs reconfigured and rebuilt using composite material with a handrail added. He also realigned the front door and installed new hardware, along with installing a new storm door. As usual, the work was as estimated and completed on time. At this time we scheduled a bathroom rebuild. The total cost for the porch and all materials was $5557.00 We then had the bathroom redone, for the most part using materials we supplied. He removed the existing flooring and replaced it with tiles, taking off and saving the existing baseboards. He replaced the toilet with an upgraded model we supplied and the vanity and mirror that we supplied (using our materials was in the estimate). He supplied some of the attaching materials for replumbing the vanity sink and toilet. This project took a total of three days, one of which was a time allowance for the floor prep materials to dry in. The total cost for the work on the bathroom area was $1550.00. All in all, I am extremely pleased with the work that has been done for me (including a previous addition on the house). Mr. Henry will offer his opinion if he feels we might have better options for our projects, but will, in the end, always give us what we want. Usually, his ideas are more appropriate than our original thoughts. His workmanship and work ethic are exemplary and I would recommend his company to anyone.

Chad made this experience the most pleasant possible. He was professional, knowledgeable, and punctual. Everything was done on schedule. His crew is very hard working and pleasant be around. I had no qualms with them in my home. He oversaw the entire process and was hands on instead of just sending crews in and leaving. We finished on time and under budget! In the future we will call him for any projects we need. I would rate Chad all A+'s. He went above and beyond what we expected.

Chad seemed very knowledgeable when he came out to my house to look at the project. He explained all the details of how the windows would be installed. As he left, I told him I would definitely like to have him schedule the work. I emailed him a couple days later to confirm and didn't hear back from him. I called and left a voice message a few days later. He never responded. I think that if he was not interested in doing the work, he should have let me know so I could work with another contractor.

Did everything as scheduled and always included us in decisions if needed. Works with 2 workers and were prompt and hard workers. Very pleased with outcome.

He was a good guy. He did a good job. I would recommend him.

This addition was an amazingly pleasant experience. Mr. Henry was prompt with the estimate, always where he said he was going to be, never late and always responsive to our questions and needs. Every day, after construction, he and his crew would clean the area and make sure there were no nails left to puncture tires. The lumber used for the addition was hand picked (straight with no wanes). The finishing work is beautiful with no paint spots or crooked trim. He started the project when he said he would, he finished well within the projected time (2 months) and was dead on with his estimate. We now have a 12x16 Florida/laundry room, an enclosed 12x16 storage garage and 12x16 deck, all of which looks like it was part of the original construction. Worth the money, absolutely! We would recommend Chad Henry Construction to anyone looking for quality work, a great work ethic, fair pricing and satisfaction at the end of the project.

Chad and his crew were very professional and they did a great job. My deck was more than twenty years old and was badly in need of repair. Chad came out promptly and did a thorough inspection of the deck. He gave me a reasonable quote and performed the work within the specified time. We had some delays due to the excessive rain summer, but that certainly wasn't Chad's fault. In fact, Chad and his crew worked around the weather and still got the job done within a week. I was very happy with the job. I would highly recommend Chad and I will certainly call on him in the future if I need work done at the my home.

The estimate Chad provided was acceptable. Because of the deck having an addition above it the cost could go two ways. If everything worked out as we plan he provided an good case estimate and if that didn't work, he would have to do other things which could cause the cost to go up (bad case estimate). Both estimates were acceptable with us. Unfortunately we couldn't wait a month or two before it could be started. We had another contractor that just finished building an house and has two weeks off before starting another one and his estimate was very similar to Chad's so we decided to go with him just because he could start on it now. In the future if we do have work that needs to be done and we are not under a time line, I will definitely give Chad a call.
