Ok, but price was high for the job.

I was impressed by the responsiveness by Access Door Company. They called me shortly after buying their deal on Angie's List, and we lined up an appointment. The day before the appointment, the office called and confirmed the appointment. Then, on the morning that the service was to be performed, the door tech, Dave, called and let me know that he was on his way. Dave was friendly and knowledgeable, and gave me a lot of information about my garage door system. Instead of just talking about how loud my door was, he demonstrated how the existing roller worked in comparison to a later model with sealed bearings and a rubber sheath. The price was extremely fair, and after he installed them, the difference in sound is like night and day. He also explained about the springs, and how they can do damage if they break. It made sense, but I was still skeptical, so I quickly Googled it and found that he was absolutely correct. He installed a safety cable, and now I feel that my garage area is much safer. (The cost shown above was the price of the Angie's List deal, and I paid $140 for the additional parts and labor.) Finally, he pointed out a couple of things that typically go wrong with a garage door - parts that are not currently problematic, but are prone to issues. I now know what to look for, and how the garage door will act when something is starting to go bad. Access Door has well-trained technicians who perform exceptional service. They have in-stock parts that are reasonably priced. I can definitely recommend them for maintenance, and with the information that came with their service, I am certain that they would exceed your expectations on installation as well.

I called them because my garage door was making a lot of noise. I was concerned about it and wanted to get it fixed. Throughout the whole interaction, I felt like the representative was trying to upsell me services. I felt like what should have happened was if he couldn't fix the issue at the price I was paying, then he should have told me that it wouldn't help and recommend I get a refund. First, he did say that the tune-up alone wouldn't fix the problem, but recommended that I get new rollers. I purchased the new rollers for $120. After it was installed, the garage door still made noise. Next he said that he could put in bracing and one new hinge ($89), or install a new panel ($400), or buy a new garage door ($1250). Since the garage door has 20 panels, he tried to make it sound like such a good deal. I was shocked at all the pricing and decide that it was enough. Today, on the website, I saw a tune-up and roller deal for $99. I'm disappointed that I spent about $60 over that amount and that my garage door isn't fixed to my satisfaction.

I don't remember the cost and it's too much aggravation to go back and pull records. Regardless, David did a good job re-aligning and lubricating the door. It works much better now.

My overall experience with Access Door Company has been positive. First things first - I took advantage of a very good deal via Angie's List, and (due to my error) I selected the incorrect dates for my preferred service date. When I called to confirm my appointment, the Service Manager was very helpful and understanding. Then, I had to re-schedule again (due to me) and still received great service. David, the associate who serviced my garage door, went above and beyond what I scheduled. He fixed part of the door for me, and had additional supplies on hand that was unexpectedly needed. He was friendly and did not mind me "hovering" while he worked. Finally, I have added a second service from this company, based no the experience so far. I will recommend Access Door Company to anyone in my area for Garage Door maintenance.

The replacement rollers cost $50.00 so the total job cost $99.00. Very happy. Would use him again.

Within a hour of purchasing the deal on-line, the company called to schedule an appointment. We agreed on a date and block of time. (They only schedule in a four-hour window, which worked for me at this time.) As promised, the tech called 30 minutes in advance and arrived on time. We talked briefly about the door, he inspected it, and proceeded to perform the advertised tune-up. When finished he explained what he'd done, provided recommendations for future actions that would preserve the life of the door and the lift mechanism, and had me sign his paperwork. Fast, efficient, and professional. Thank you.

Access Door Company contacted us quickly after we purchased the Deal (first-time customers). The service man arrived on the day and at the time we requested after calling to say he was on his way. He serviced 2 garage doors including new rollers and lubrication, etc. He was both professional and congenial and completed his work in a timely manner. He left only when both doors opened and closed effortlessly. Access Door Company proved to us that they know the meaning of customer service and that will keep their phone number on our speed dial. Access sent excellent workers to deal with an old under house garage. It threw them many different and new curves. And they worked until they had completed the work to our absolute satisfaction. Another handyman working on another project also commented on the quality of the work. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Wonderful. They are very professional. I just really appreciated their professionalism. They always followed through with what they were going to do. They are on time so I can expect them when they say they are going to be there. They are a very trustworthy company too. I would do business with them again, that is how much I like them.

I called them and I asked them to give a quote on what it would cost to install a lock on a roll-up door. A quote was all I wanted and when I called back, they had ordered the part and they had basically scheduled the work to be done and it was my fault. I should have said, "No, I didn't ask you to do the job. I wanted a quote". They charged me $150 for a $12 lock to be installed that I was going to do myself; I just wanted a quote on what it would cost for own my record purposes. Overall, they were friendly, they were prompt and everything. Overall, I would have to give them a "C" because they didn't do what I asked them to do and at the end of the day, that's what really matters. I would use them again if there was something that I needed from them that I can't do myself and something that they're competitively priced on. They did decent work and they were punctual. I would consider using them again.
