Access Garage Doors of Chattanooga

A service / repair person responded promptly. He examined the door and offered solutions. I elected to purchase a new door. The installation crew arrived the next day. The new door was installed promptly, all debris cleaned up and the old door taken away. All persons were courteous and completely professional.

Initial service was good, but when I went to return some unused items, I found that their location was a private house, in a lower middle class neighborhood, with an old van parked out front (not the one that had come to our home

They would only either send someone out to give me an estimate for a new door or send someone out to fix my current door for a minimum of $75 and then $75 for each hour after that. They couldn't just send someone out to look at my door and give me a quote

The entire team was wonderful. From my first phone call to the fast turn around in service I can't say enough great things about this group of professionals. I needed pretty fast service as my old door was literally laying in my driveway and I needed to leave town for business in four days. Professional job, done right. I picked them on the basis of reputation and longevity in the community and did not shop price so I did not rate them on price, but it seemed reasonable.

This is the third time I have done business with Access Door, an new door opener in 2013(see review), a new garage door in 2015 & a new garage door on my metal building last week. The quality of their products & services, are absolutely the very best! From the time you call to inquire about a new product, or to have service to repair your existing product, they are on it with friendly professional employees. In 2015, we decided to replace our low grade contractor garage door with a new raised panel insulated one. We went to the their showroom in Hixson to look at models of insulated doors & window options that we could choose from. We ordered a certain window design, and within a couple weeks, our new door was installed by one of their friendly service teams. We were so impressed how smooth the whole process went. So, this year we decided to put a garage door on a metal building I had built. Without hesitation, we called Access to come out see our options for a new door. Once again, they gave recommendations for available door sizes and prices. I requested to have a door with the exact look as the door on my garage that they installed in 2015. After Jon got the measurements of my opening, I ordered the new Clopay door with the same great Liftmaster 8500 WiFi opener, that my other garage door has. Within 3 weeks the new door was installed. Each time we have done business with Access, it has been a real pleasure & we absolutely love our new doors and openers. Are there other companies in our area that that offer less expensive garage doors? Probably so, but their products & service will not match what you can get from Access Door. Thank you guys for another great job!!

Garage door servicing offer was supposed to include dealing with one issue. They did not solve the issue, just replaced a part that didn't need to be replaced, and did not solve the issue of the garage door going up by itself.

Colin, arrived on time, adjusted the panels so that all of the spacing was identical, sprayed all of the moving parts, even noticed that one of the light bulbs was burned out & offered to replace it. I thanked him for noticing it and told him that I have sufficient spares and was more than capable of taking on that task. He did a super job, so I asked for some company brochures which I plan to pass on to our neighbors.

I was told that the installer would be there before noon the following day. He called at 8:45 A.M. and was at the address by 9 A.M. He had the correct part in his truck and went about installing it. Within 30 minutes he had it back up, running in top shape, quiet as a whisper and even lubed and oiled the other door just to be sure. As far as handyman work goes, they did fast, top notch quality work. I appreciate the promptness and would definitely call again if I have garage door trouble.

Office staff was a pleasure to work with. Installation went smoothly except the wrong decorative panels were delivered and the trim provided for the job was a little short. A week later they returned to install the correct decorative panels and install the appropriate length trim. They also reworked the garage door with the lift operator so that it would operate smoother. Overall, I was pleased with the installation. They required 1/2 down payment and balance at completion of job.

It went well. Access was prompt, worked quickly, explained all my options, and left with a clean work area and a functioning garage door. They did not try to upsell me on anything, nor "find" additional issues they could address. The price was reasonable.

Not well. The owner told me the door couldn't be repaired, because the manufacturer was out of business. He recommended replacing a door, actually three doors, because the new door wouldn't match. At $900 a door, I thought I'd do some research. Ten minutes after he left, I found the manufacturer is alive and well, and called a company who will now repair the broken panels. Do your homework. The manufacturer labels are on the side of the garage door, and you may not have to replace.
