Service was timely and the repair man was excellent; it was clear to me he knew what he was doing. There was a misunderstanding about the price -- I was still charged a "$95 service charge" fee even though the Big Deal price said I was supposed to get a maintenance check and up to 10 free rollers for $99 (and any additional parts w/be extra). So while I did expect to pay for the 2 new cables and 2 new end/cap hinges (total ~ $50), I didn't expect to pay an additional fee for a "service call". Especially since the repair man was already there by way of the Big Deal special I'd purchased. I spoke directly to the owner after the overcharge and he agreed and apologized for the misunderstanding. He refunded me $50, making my total spend $188. That was still a little more than I expected to pay going strictly by the fine print in the Big Deal; however, I didn't press it. The owner was prompt, courteous, and timely when speaking w/me and I felt like it wasn't worth arguing over another $30-40. Overall, disregarding the pricing issue, I had a good experience and would recommend this company to anyone who needs major or minor garage door work.

We has previously purchased 2 deluxe type garage doors from Access Doors, Hixson, Tn.. Chattanooga, Tn. had a Home Show and Access Doors had a display set up there. On Feb 28 I discussed my problems with the doors and the lady rep told me they would have someone our to check on my problems. On March 4 their rep, name of Chris was at the house to help. Chris was a whiz at working on garage door problems and had them taken care in just a short time. He was very nice and friendly and I am very pleased with the work he did and also pleased with the company Access Doors. If I ever need new doors in the future Access Doors will be the place to go. He replaced some pulleys on both doors and also all the rollers on the primary door.

It was quick service and my garage door runs much smoother. The service tech explained what he did and gave me tips on how to maintain my garage door.

Things went well. He made some good suggestions and if he'd had certain, spcific parts, I would have had him do some addtional work ( at an additional charge ). Pleased with the experience and would reccomend this company to others.

The man was very polite and did the work quickly. I can't tell if he changed all the rollers since he did it in 15 min. But I can open my garage door with ease now

We were having issues with our garage door opener, so we checked Angie's List to find a local company with good reviews. Access Door had a current special price promotion listed here. We called Nikki to check what there rate was to come out & check our opener. We told her we saw the promotion for the Liftmaster 8550 for $447. She thought that price special had expired, but said they would honor it. We decided to go with a new one versus repairing our old one. On Friday, we scheduled an appointment for the following Tuesday to have it installed. On Saturday we decided to drive up to there showroom to check out the various openers & make sure we would be happy with the 8550. Nikki was there & showed us around demonstrating the various openers. She was very polite, professional & knowledgeable about the products they were selling. One Tuesday morning, the installer Leroy, called us to let us know he would be arriving within the hour. He was right on time & went to work removing our old opener. In a little over an hour or so, he had the new one installed. He went through the whole process of explaining the various remotes & how to operate the system. he even adjusted and lubed our track. Leroy was very polite, professional & pleasant to work with. We absolutely love this new opener! It is very, very quiet, has a battery backup in case of a power outage & can be operated from my smart phone. Update: Since our great experience with this company on the door opener, we decided to purchase a new insulated garage door. Everything including the sale & installation went perfectly as before. Access Door is great!

Replaced rollers - realigned door and fixed tracks. Huge improvement!

Went great! Leroy even figured out a way to get around the single circuit wiring in my garage to work without having to leave the garage lights on all the time. He found an outlet he could use that was ahead of the light switches and used that, so it all works great.

Technician "LeRoy' was courteous and knowledeable. He repaired the door quickly, and properly. It's working more smoothly than it has in years! I'll certainly call Action Door again!

My sister mistakenly drove into the garage door. The door was not able to close, and the alarm kept going off. Called him and he arrived as soon as he could, fixed it and get the whole place in order. Thank you so much for your help.

Chris called to let me know he was on his way and arrived promptly. He brought the correct remotes with him and performed the repairs quickly and professionally. Strong recommendation for this young man.

ill A fter backing in to my garage door (yes, I feel stupid), I went to Access after reviewing garage door installers on Angies List and asking a neighbor for a recommendation. I went to the nearby showroom and spoke to Jesse Cox, who , I believe, is president of the company. He was very helpful and explained all my options. Showed me the reason for different price levels as relates to construction and choice of windows. We chose a Clopay door with 3 layer 1 3/8 " polyurethane panels, arch windows with grilles and some decorative hardware handles. Clopay offers a lifetime warranty on this grade of door.. The company brochure states the doors are made in the U.S of 75% recycled content. Jesse came out and measured the day after I spoke to him in the showroom and the doors were installed about a week later with no problems. The installers were very professional , courteous, and cleaned up after themselves. They explained maintenance to me re: using silicone spray on springs and waxing the outside of the door annually to protect it and maintain color. I would use them again (but hopefully will never need to).

My doors work great now. I am so happy to have my doors working properly again. They are better than when I first bought the house 7 years ago.

I called on the morning of the 27th and they were here by 2 p.m., the technician began by assessing the needs. He lubricated the roller tracks, then he switched out the door seal. After running the door a couple more times, he decided to adjust the belt on the lift motor. The door didn't operate this good when first installed.

Their service was great, they had the product we wanted, they showed up on time and did a great job! The technician was very professional and great to work with. They cleaned up and hauled the old doors away, too.

The service was good overall. They made a mistake but they corrected it. The door has been working fine since the installation.

They’ve been so great to work with, for so many years! They’ve been incredibly responsive whenever I need them. They’ve always done the work quickly and efficiently. Their cost is reasonable too, and they provide excellent workmanship. They even send me Christmas cards, which is so thoughtful. They've also referred me to another great company for insulation. I trust them completely and highly recommend Access Door!

Overall, the experience went well. Their price seemed reasonable. The technician that came out was very efficient. He also told me some things I could do for maintenance on the door. I was very pleased!

The service was excellent overall. They took great care in painting the doors after the installation, and left the name of the paint incase a touch-up was needed. We haven’t had any problems with the door!
