Terminix - Goodlettsville -Termite & Pest Control

I have a yearly contract with them for a checkup. I actually don’t like them, but when my mom and dad bought the property they used them. The people they send are not professional and I don’t know if they do a thorough inspection.

The person that comes out and takes care of us is Marty Cummings. He is diligent, interested and very responsive. He will come at the drop of a hat. He is effective with his treatment of any insect problems. They are punctual, professional, prompt and responsive. The price seems competitive.

I don't like them very much. I have had a termite contract with them for so many years that I am kind of weary about changing away from them. I wouldn't rate them very high. I haven't had a problem with termites. My termite contract starts and ends in August but they bill in April. It is an August bill in April. I ask them to fix it but they don't. I had some issues with something underneath the house and they came every year for the termite inspection and they would have seen what was going on but they didn't bother to tell me. I had an issue there. I expect them to be a good citizen and do what their job is. They are expensive and their increases are way higher than inflation. I find them to be impersonal. They get pushy on to provide other services. Their termite contract is so expensive I can't afford other services.

The service overall is good; we do not have any bugs yet. They are very friendly too. We pay them quarterly; they are kind of expensive but it is fine.

They solved our termite problem. We also haven't seen any crickets or cockroaches since they performed the service. They were professional and communicated well.

I talked to a few in the termite business and locally; Terminix offered a product called Termidor. They had a product that through all my research I found was far superior to what I could read for other suppliers. Their product appears to be very effective. I really like the guy who does the pest control. He is a real nice guy, so he is a regular. He is very personable and very professional. He answers all my questions and lets me follow him around, which is very nice. They are average in terms of price. I had some scheduling issues with them; they were showing up at a different time than what I had coordinated. This happened probably on three different occasions. Their responsiveness overall has been pretty good; they just haven't solved the schedule. I think they are very professional. I will continue to use their services.

They were ok, but they were a life saver years ago. We went to drag out some old boxes, and there were termites in it. They came out and literally saved our home. At that point, they came out about every three months. This new system that they offer requires that they come out even if it's really not necessary. We're not crazy about them at all anymore. We continue using them because the contract and guarantee is there. If we have any problems, they will come replace the walls of your home.

They just give a normal pest control service. They just come out and spray. We have a thing with them also for termites where they ensure my home is termite free.
