It was perfect. They did a heck of a job. We had a good deal, $15000, but they had some materials worth $5300 and it would go with color which is not neutral and does not fit on. So we thought $7500. So I would say that for a 2000 sq feet house, it was a heck of a bill. It was a good deal. The windows are holding up perfectly and they should hold up for life.

We liked the windows, but American Home Design did a terrible job installing them. I would not recommend the company that installed them. I would recommend them to improve on just about everything.

They came within a couple of days when we contacted them..... but it took a few months for them to schedule our work. We gave them a sizable down payment, which was required. Then we didn't hear from them until I called about the work being done. Our work was postpone a couple of times and then they finally installed the windows. The workmen were courteous and on time, but we had to have them back out to the house to fix problems with the windows. The windows were leaking and some would not lock. We called and called and called to get them to schedule them to come and give us a price, but they did not return our calls for several days when we had problems.

It took them one day and they did this a couple years ago. They lived up to their advertising; they tore out the old shower and installed the new one in one day. Their pricing was competitive.

THEY WERE AWFUL!!. First off I told them I wanted one with jets and they brought one out that didn't have jets. The salesperson obviously just wanted to make a sale and was NOT very clear about this. They said they couldn't put one in. I then just told them to put what they brought in and I would figure something out. After the first bath, the water would not drain out of the tub and if the water doesn't drain, YOU CAN"T OPEN THE DOOR to the tub. At that time, I had had a hip replacement and was 70 pounds heavier. Well, I had to climb out of that monster and THAT was no easy task. I immediately made several phone calls and FINALLY got to a person that had a little sense (AND I DO MEAN A LITTLE).They sent someone out the next day to fix the drain. They said it was my fault since there was long hair in the drain. Uh, NOT my fault. but prior owner. I have NEVER used that bathroom for shower or bath ever! The installer was the only decent person in the whole bunch. He was on time, polite and actually went above and beyond the call of duty, since he had to drive here from Tennessee twice in two days. I think that they just took total advantage of an older person who wasn't clear with everything and didn't have anyone to ask. I wouldn't use them again if they were to give me a new tub with jets and free installation. Sad, sad, sad situation.

We have used them two times and most recently they installed 2 windows. That service turned out wonderfully. We were pleased with the salesman; he was very approachable. We also really like the windows. The pricing is comparable to other companies, but the product is really good. I wished I could give them an A+.

I remember that the sales part of it went fine. He said that the start date would be one day, but that service was as little delayed, so that was a little frustrating. The quality of the roof over the porch has been good and it has held up just fine.

They had a good selection to choose from. They did what they said they were going to do and the installation took about 3 days. They followed up and followed through.

I though the price as a little high, but the shower is good.

It was done quickly and it was done well. It took them about a day and a half. I felt like they did a good job. They were clean and they cleaned up after themselves as well. I will be calling them back to fix a caulking edge, but I have had no issue with the tub itself. At the end there were no surprises in the regards to the cost. I liked that the walk in tub was made locally in Tennessee. I am happy with the quality.

They did nothing I could not even get a quote out of them

The job ended up being bigger than they thought (I had a lot of rotting wood fascia that was covered up with paint). I even stressed to the worker who gave me the estimate that I knew there was a lot of bad wood. The worker showed up promptly and worked all day, however he was unable to finish in one day. On the second day two workers showed up and they finished the job. They did an excellent job and the quality of the work was excellent. You may pay a little more for the job, but they have always given me value for my money.

They are nice, professional, and the most expensive anywhere around. I think the reason they are so expensive is because they have an entire full-time call center that they support. These people will call you 1-2 times every day and leave messages. After a week it got so annoying that I had to tell them to put me on their do-not-call list since I had chosen another provider at half the cost. Their products do appear to be of great quality but after shopping around, others offer what they have at a fraction of the cost. Case in point: I received 4 bids to replace 4 windows in my home. American Home Design came in the highest at just under $5000. That's about $1250 a window. Nope. The others ranged from $1950 to $3400 but these guys were simply too expensive.

The installers were prompt and very professional. They kept us informed of the progress at all times. Our installers, Tommy and Jeremy were on top of the installation and were very neat. Joseph the electrician was also very good to work with. We are absolutely extremely satisfied with our sunroom. We stay in the sunroom more now than in the rest of our home. My wife says they made her dream come true. Joe, the project manager, was always available to answer any questions. He put a rush on our project because we had visitors coming for a weeks stay and we wanted to not have work going on with them here for their stay. We just cant say enough about the way we were treated from start to finish by everyone at American Home Design. Anytime we have a need for their services you can bet we will call on them again. We couldn't have asked for better service. On time, professional and great workmanship. Have used American Home Design for other products and would recommend them.

Install on windows was very good. Installer showed up when he said and did a good job and cleaned up afterwards.

They were prompt, courteous, and completed the job quickly. They put down tarps over my floors in order not to tract dust, etc. throughout my home. And they cleaned up after themselves. There was nothing I had to do except hang up towels. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again.

The man came and did a presentation on windows. He gave me a sales pitch on their product. Their estimate was pretty high for their window. I did a lot of research about the particular reviews of their window. The information that I was able to glean from the sales pitch and then compare that to other windows as I went to other places is that they have a superior product. Because of that, the reviews that I read said that they were more expensive than normal. But the majority of the people didn't mind the added expense because of the quality of their product. Those are the reviews that I read. He didn't push anything. He just told me about the product. It turned out that we were members of the same church. That didn't affect his presentation. He did a good presentation. I didn't feel like he was pushy. I acquired the attitude that he was telling me the truth about his product. The overall experience was satisfactory; it was just a presentation. With regard to punctuality, he was on time. I would consider using them again in the future because I think that they have the best quality window out there. Their products are expensive, but many of the reviews said that their products are superior to other markets and that they didn't mind spending the extra cash.

They came out and made a quote which was reasonable and we signed a contract. They came out to do a detailed measure and order materials. Installation was done in about two weeks. Installers did an excellent job and discussed fine details with us as the job continued. Workmanship is guaranteed for life. Very satisfied with this provider.

Way to expensive. But seemed like the best quality

They came out and gave us some options and pricing. After about 8 weeks they called to let us know they were ready to install and we scheduled a time. They came out and put the walls and windows up; it took about 3-4 days total. The electrician came out about a week later. We can now use our porch all the time. We enjoy looking at nature without the dirt or bugs.

Salesman was professional, courteous and friendly. Offered a 'discount' to 'buy today'. Salesman and I discussed making the shower stall larger by approximately 6and quot;. He said he could do that, We accepted it. I was unhappy with 'how long' it took to get the job completed once we agreed on price; ...but that was acceptable and it was per the schedule they stated; not late. Problem came when on the day of delivery they had to postpone 1 day, which prevented me from being at the job to observe the installation as I had appointment out of town; so my wife was available. When they installed the shower base, it was 1 Inch SHORTER than my old shower stall! The Panels for the Shower were larger 'just as we had discussed', but the shower stall instead of being larger was actually an inch shorter. I spoke to the salesman by phone and he asked and quot;what do you want me to do?and quot; He said he could not make the shower larger due to my Span deck floor...... He knew it was span deck when he took the job.... My response was and quot;you have my Main Bath torn up, and I will have an unhappy wife if you don't finish the install,. What am I supposed to do... continue with the install. Otherwise, the installer did a high quality job, it looks nice (But the wall is deeper than the shower base which now makes this 'expensive' shower look a bit amateurish'). We did also determine a water leak; however, once reported AD responded reasonably quickly (I called Saturday; the repairman arrived Wednesday? - Regardless, he was professional and friendly and promptly made the repair. A minor correction to thread sealer shower head) All in all, it is a Good Installation. I am only sorry because I think we paid too much and because the salesman did not deliver what I understood we had agreed upon regarding size of the stall..

The salesperson that came to our home, he presented himself very well. I told him that I don't have a lot of time and try to give him what I want and he was very flexible with my time. He was very nice to deal with. Things got a little dicey when I expected to hear back sooner than I did and when I called to see when I could expect the awning to be installed, I ended up speaking to someone who had a little attitude and the time that he gave me was longer than the time that I was been told in the beginning. I spoke to the owner and they were pretty much sorry but it was more on obligatory than sorry. I am very satisfied with the awning but I would never buy anything from them again.

Regretfully, my experience was so unbelievably bad, I declined to do business with this company. I had seen their wonderful commercials, checked out their website and decided to drop by their showroom to discuss the details of adding a sunroom to our home. They cheerfully answered some basic questions and set up an appointment to come to my home to look at the property. In setting the date I mentioned that my husband was going to be out of town, but that would be fine since this was my project. At that point, they were reluctant to confirm the date saying they preferred to come when my husband was there. I assured them that it was no problem and indicated again that I was the decision maker on this project and I was looking forward to getting this preliminary information. On the drive home I received a call canceling the appointment. The woman indicated that the schedulers had made a mistake and the confirmed date was not available AND there was no date available until the next week (when I had indicated my husband was going to be in town). I mentioned that this was the 2nd time that they had referred to setting the appointment when my husband was home and I found that odd since I was the decision maker on this project. She said that yes, they rather have both the wife and husband present for the home visit. In a very kind voice, I said that I found that offensive. She said she understood that this could be offensive but it was their wish to visit when both husband and wife were there. I did not reschedule the appointment. I then received a 2nd call from a gentleman asking to schedule our appointment and I went through the entire conversation with him. He then suggested I look at their website and visit their showroom and call them back if I had any questions. I INDICATED THAT I HAD CHECKED OUT THEIR WEBSITE AND I HAD GONE BY THEIR SHOWROOM. I HAD DONE MY HOMEWORK. BUT, SINCE THEY REQUIRED THAT MY HUSBAND BE PRESENT, THAT WE WOULD NOT BE INTERESTED IN DOING BUSINESS WITH THEIR COMPANY. I find it incredulous that this company would treat me like and quot;the little womenand quot; who was unable to make decisions related to doing work on a home. I was insulted and will be using another builder.

I don't think I could ask for better service than the service I got from American Home Design. The price was very high though. They left a part unfinished, and I think that it should have been finished for the price.
