Provider communicated clearly about delivery and completed job as promised.

There were a couple emails and phone calls going back and forth in regards to scheduling an appointment. I told him that I needed him to come out when I was available, because I do live on 4 acres. The emails and phone calls did not address what I was asking on multiple occasions. About a month after that purchase, he then sent me a text message the day before he was planning on coming out. I told him that was fine, but I told him I had to leave the my home at a certain time and that he needed to be here before then. They came out after the time we had scheduled, I was not there of course, and then he called me while I was in a meeting and I couldn’t talk. They left the mulch in my yard, because they didn’t know where to put it. They left it there for about 2 months and we went back and forth about what they were going to do in a quote that he gave me. Finally they came out in mid-July and it seems like they put it out as quickly as they could. They also did not come back to fix the issues that we had originally talked about, but he did give me a bid for all of these other things he could do. They just didn't fix the original service they had previously done.

Currently awaiting a date for the job to begin.

Several workers arrived and got the job done quickly.

We also discussed some options for improving my lawn and Solo provided cost estimates for sod. That project is on hold for now.

I called Patrick on the morning of 6/17/2014 for an estimate to cut my lawn on a regular basis. I left a message as there was no answer. He called later that evening and asked for my address which I gave him. He promised to look at the lot the next day and call me with a price on the evening of 6/18/2014. Well, as of yet, 6/22/2014, I have never gotten a call back from him. I understand this is a busy time for lawn service companies but if you say you are going to call a customer back, you should honor that. If for some reason such as distance or size of lot, you don't want the job, at least have the decency to call the customer back as promised and say that. If business owners would follow the Golden Rule and treat potential customers with respect and how they would like to be treated, they would have more business and income than they could ever imagine. It is his loss as I have found another service and lawn cutting was only one service I needed. I had a few, much larger landscaping projects to be done as the season went on so he is missing on those projects as well.

It went great. Patrick came out to the house almost immediately to quote on the job. While it was more than I expected to pay, they did an excellent job. His guys came right on time and were very professional. They trimmed all the bushes and trees in front of the house (even our crazy tall holly) and pulled every single weed, even those tucked away behind and inside bushes. They picked up every last stray leaf and blade of grass and had the front of our house looking great in no time. I would highly recommend this company.

Left us with a promise of a quote. Did not hear from him and so after two weeks contacted him to see if he was still going to make a quote, he responded in the affirmative and now another two weeks later still no quote. A professional would have simply said he was unable to do the work.

Everything looks great. Rain caused a delay but the crew was there the very next day.

They were excellent. They were prompt and they did what they said they would do. In fact the guy went above and beyond. For an extra $20 he cut an extra couple of feet on the trees. He would have taken the cost on it if we hadn't wanted to cover it. He was an excellent designer and knew what he was doing. He cares about his customers. We have a couple other things we want to get done so we're saving up for that.

Fast responsive initial contact. Showed up on time to spread the mulch. Did reasonable job. Mulch was not the highest quality. It was a busy time of the year i guess for their business. However overall i am happy

Patrick and his crew did an excellent job. He was very prompt to respond to emails and text messages. His crews were very professional and hard working! The only problem was that the project took longer than planned, partly due to many rainy days. I will use them again.

They are easy to work with and are very professional. They were very good about responding. Anytime I have a question, if I call them they will call me back promptly.

Service was great! My inquiry was responded to immediately and the service was provided was promised. The flower beds look great and the price was reasonable.

Angies list coupon for 3 yards for x price. Emailed and called requesting 4-5 yards and requested on site visit for additional work. Only delivered the 3 yards and no follow up on requested quote for other work. Was delivered very promptly and got exactly what ordered. Disappointed in the follow up. Not the end of the world.

We weren't home when they performed the spreading of mulch. What we did see when we got home, we were very pleased with.

Did exactly what he said he would do. Had good ideas and total work done in very timely manner. Easy to work with.

I was very impressed with Solo. Patrick showed up on the day we initially scheduled him, despite the fact that this was the ice storm and it was 7am with essentially the entire city had shut down. He emailed me a very detailed, itemized (materials, labor, and any tax) estimate so we knew exactly what we were paying for. They showed up on the day as scheduled and did a beautiful job. One item was left off our original list and Patrick sent a team the very next day to take care of it. We plan to use Solo in the near future when we are ready to proceed with resurrecting the rest of our yard. He was not our cheapest bid, nor our most expensive, but was definitely worth paying a little more for the quality of service and my certainty that I knew exactly what I was paying for and that the materials used were worth our investment.

This provider was listed tops on "Angiei's List" so I called him first for estimate to sod shady areas in yard and remove/replace scraggly shrubbery in front yard. He responded by phone first day, said he could come out and look at my yard and over the fence (backyard) without my needing to be there. ... ( first RED FLAG). BUT.. when I set up appointment for him to come out he did not show ( I was at work and put up dogs for him, but he did not show and did not contact me about no-show until the next day!! ). When he did contact me next day after n0-show stated " found this piece of paper said you wanted ... blah, blah , blah". " ( 2nd RED FLAG). He came out and "looked over the fence" the next day and gave me an estimate. I know he couldn't have seen my full yard, from over the fence, but listened to his estimate none the less. He also gave me estimates for removal of ALL of my shrubbery ( not just the shrubbery I had requested). He gave me an estimate for over $5,000 worth of work : by NOT seeing my whole yard, and NOT having me present for the yard/job appraisal, and NOT actually doing the shrubbery removal and replacement I actually wanted vs. a whole new landscaping job. Overall, this provider was presumptuous and not responsive to this customer's actual needs, and not timely/punctual.

Patrick returned my call, assessed my yard, and provided a quote all in a timely manner. His price was lower than the other 3 quotes I received, which was the deciding factor for me. He accommodated my schedule. A crew of 6 workers arrived on time and completed the work in less than 3 hours. I have a half acre with lots of large trees, a 2 story house, and a pool. The crew was thorough - they cleaned the gutters, trimmed all the monkey grass, and removed all the leaves and debris from my lawn and patios. They even blew the leaves out of the pool during their clean up. Instead of bagging the leaves and leaving them at the curb, they vacuumed the leaves up into a truck and took them away. They did a great job and I am thrilled with the way my lawn looks and the work I received for the price. I will definitely use Solo Landscape for my yard work again, and will recommend them to other people.
