 + -1 moreThey just do a good job. They take the time to find the problem and fix it. Other companies would come in and do the patch up, and then we get the problem again. While these guys come in, diagnose the problem right the first time and fix it right, the first time. Their pricing was reasonable. I got exactly what I paid for. I will continue to use this provider again in the future.

 + -1 moreThe install went smoothly. We are very happy with the job. They replaced the lower level the first day and the upper level on day 2. Very professional and awesome customer service. John came out and gave us an estimate and answered all of our questions. We had 2 other estimates and called John back a 2nd time to answer a few more questions and based off of his answers we choose his company. They have called us several times to check on us and came out to the house a few days later to re-check the airflow.

 + -1 moreThey removed and replaced the entire system in 11 hours. It was obvious the next day that the problem was cured and the house temperture was more balanced than it ever was before. They followed up later in the week with a leak test of the entire house and made minor adjustments to balance the heat even more. They did a great job at a fair price, without Angie's list I would not have known about this company.
Description of Work: Problem: Excessive dust in one portion of the house, insulation was being sucked out of the attic into the house. After evaluating the problem, they determined they ductwork needed replaced. A large addition had been added to the house at one point, the heat and air system was not designed for the house as it is and it was in very poor shape. Dust was being sucked into the house from the attic, they proposed redesigning and replacing the duct system. Their competitors, with one exception, made the same recommendation. Derryberry's quote of $4159 was $1814.00 less than the highest bidder and they estimated 1 to 2 days to do the job, that was half the time quoted be the others.

 + 0 moreI called in the morning and they sent a technician right out. He arrived on time, was polite and courteous. He work covers over his shoes when he was in the house and explained to me exactly what was going on. I am very pleased with this company and have continued to use them for our heat and air maintenance and repair.
Description of Work: Our main air unit was not cooling. When the technician came out, he explained that there had been a leak and the coil needed to be repaired. He welded (or soldered) the coil and recharged the unit. He waited around to make sure the coolant did not leak before he left. I thought it was a bargain for the work done.

 + -1 moreDerryberry's three man crew was extremely professional, thorough and performed the repair well beyond the quality of the original installation. They did everything strictly according to the latest codes. They took time to point out the very poor workmanship used throughout the rest of the system and stated that while it would function adequately, it was not even close to the standards of their workmanship. I could see this with my own eyes. They were open and willing to answer any and all questions I posed. I will never use an HVAC company other than Derryberry in the future!
Description of Work: They repaired a smashed main air supply duct that had been almost totally crushed during construction of my home by one of the subcontractor's of Imperial Development, the builder, in 2005/2006. The crushed duct was located in an area not easily accessible from the floored part of the attic and could not be seen. It had prevented poor heat and cooling air flow to the master bedroom suite since original construction. The return air (flexible) duct from the same area had a huge hole in it that had been simply covered by pulling the insulation over the hole and taping it. Dust and dirt from the attic insulation was being pulled into the return air supply and distributed throughout the home. Derryberry came to the house on Wed. May 5 2011 to review the problem. The next morning they provided a quote and came out and repaired the problem that same day.
