With a job this size, I was very nervous how it would go. I must say, it was seamless. Jeff had come out a few times before the actual work was going to be done just to make sure we were on the same page with what work would be performed. I had a written estimate of exactly how much the work would cost and how many days would be required. For the inside work, they did a very nice job of getting the old pipe out (without damaging any of the basement foundation wall). They rerouted some lines to allow for better flow/space in our basement. They cleaned up everyday when they left - there was NO trash left at the end of each day. The guys who were inside the house were here for 3 days - they were all very professional and nice. The guys doing the outside work also did a very nice job. I knew that it was going to be a big, messy job. Many aspects of replacing our lines were more difficult due to having to manage a sidewalk in the front, gravel driveway on the side and a creek in the back. The individual who worked the backhoe did an amazing job of working around the sidewalk with no cracking. He also did a nice job of working with the pipe under our creek and then "putting the creek back together". I really feel like the guys at Benjamin Franklin know their stuff and this crew had been doing this for awhile. While of course the yards had been disturbed with all of the work, the crew did a nice job of covering it with seed and straw as promised. At the end of the job, Jeff came back to inspect and review all the work done to make sure everything was perfect. I could not say enough good things about the people that work for this company. The whole process was great.

They were very friendly, helpful and professional when I called to scheduled. I spoke with Kelsey in the office, she was very kind.

It went well. They came out in allotted time period. They tried to clean out the line out by hand because I have old cast iron pipes, but it was not effective. They finished it with a machine. They cleared the line and was very professional.

The service technician was courteous, friendly and punctual. He fixed a toilette, gave an estimate for a hot water heat circulator and gave us good advice about a larger issue which needs a contractor. An overall great experience. I would definitely use them again.

After determining the problem of our leaking quickly, the plumber was able to get a part delivered to him with 30 minutes. However, the part was the wrong part number and it was looking like they weren't going to be able to locate the correct one. After another 30 minutes or so, someone located the correct part, and it was delivered another 30 minutes later. Then it was able to be fixed. My primary issue is that while the valve was off, the plumber wanted to run water to get some of the sediment out. When he did this, he did not account for the water getting into the wall, and water ended up leaking through the floor, down to the ceiling of the first floor.

Better than expected. Tech was able to diagnosis the problem immediately; present options; and make repairs efficiently.

It went well. I thought the price was just a little high, but that was because I'm not a member of their service club. They did give me a senior discount, though. I've used them before for a water heater and garbage disposal replacement. I've mostly been very satisfied with them.

Badly. They came to look at the toilets and came up with having to rebuild (buy the whole tank's interior parts new) and they wanted $219 for each toilet. When asked if they could just adjust them and or replace what needed to be replaced, Aaron stated he only would rebuild the entire thing or NOTHING. So, he left without a dime being paid to them and lost the opportunity to do an honest repair for an honest fee. Reminds me of the mechanic who wants to change everything new when only one part is bad or can be replaced. Benjamin Franklin has great customer service when you call, but their prices are outlandish. $219 per toilet when all it needed was an adjustment or a new flapper or chain. Ridiculous.

We were blessed to find a coupon on Angie's List for $66 for drain cleaning by Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. Tammy at their office was great to work with, and called us to see if Aaron could come a little earlier than planned, as he finished a job early (the answer was "yes). He was very friendly, and with his "snake" was quickly able to clear the clog about 30 feet down the line. He also offered and sold to me for $49 a 64 liquid ounce bottle of BioBen, a Biological Drain and Septic System Treatment. For preventative maintenance, you apply 2 ounce per month directly into a household drain overnight (when times of minimal water usage). Very happy with the professionalism by both employees.

The technician Calab was very friendly and seemed very knowledgable. He answered all of our questions and provided the estimate. We decided to wait on the new toilet, but we do plan to call them back in the near future.

Daniel Stark was excellent! This was actually the second time that he came to visit my house -- the first to fix a dishwasher, and now for the sewer gas coming in from the toilet (very scary for a new homeowner!) Daniel is super nice and knowledgable. He makes you feel at ease -- like he knows exactly what's going on, and can fix it. Both times he came I was very worried, and he took calmly took care of the problem in a very timely manner. Whenever I call Benjamin Franklin, I'll always ask for Daniel!

Great. Caleb Daniel was there on time and did great work. They were very flexible and able to get us fit in as this needed to be done to meet an inspection item on a home sale.

They wanted me to pay them a fee for them to come give me a bid on a job that would be a few thousand dollars. Why would I do that when I get free bids from numerous other contractors?

My appointment was from 12 -2, but I received a call from dispatch asking if it was OK if the plumber arrived earlier. I described the issue to Caleb when he arrived around 11. He was very professional and even wore footies inside the house. Caleb was very polite and efficient, and I really appreciate his service and attitude. He patiently answered all my questions about the repair and cleaned up thoroughly when the job was complete.

The service was fantastic. We ended up having them come back and install a garbage disposal. They are always on time and clean up after they are done. We used a plumbing service beforehand that was horrible experience and was over 5 times the cost of this service. Benjamin Franklin will have our business for years to come.

Called at 7 am, they were at the house by 915 and out by 1015. Left me with some preventative to help keep the drain from clogging. Appreciated the timeliness of this company. Would 100% use them again.
