Description of Work: Installed new electric water heater; Thermo Expansion Tank; Pressure Reducing Valve. All Benjamin Franklin employees were professional from the person who answered the phone (Charles)to the dispatcher (Rita) who let me know that the plumber was on his way. The plumber (Jeff) was extremely knowledgable and answered my endless questions. He recommended an electrician to inspect the wiring and electrical panel. We suspected that the panel was not labeled correctly and this was the case. I am extremely happy with my water heater and have signed a maintenance plan with Benjamin Franklin. I especially like that they charge by the job and not by the hour. I plan to use them going forward for all of my plumbing needs. All of my dogs were really comfortable with Jeff being in my house and this is important to me.

Description of Work: The man visiting installed new fixtures in the bathtub, bringing an end to severe water loss. My house is in shambles and I am very reluctant to bring anyone in here. He was very nice about this, even with getting his pants dirty despite my efforts with drop cloths. The Angies List discount was lost because I also had a very cheap outside faucet installed. THe date above is not accurate. I would have had to dig up the statement papers before filling this out to get the date. The time past is something of this order.

After speaking with you on the phone, it's easy to see where the differences came in. Thanks for commenting on your technicians courteous, professional, timely manner. However, he quoted a 75 gallon heater (equivalent to what you had) not the 50 gallon downsize you installed. He also quoted you a 10 year full parts, labor & tank warranty. Included in that quote is a codes required expansion tank, as well as a flood saver pan piped to the exterior of the home. We've all heard "you get what you pay for". I appreciate your speaking to me about this.

Description of Work: Tub faucet that wouldn't turn off. They got it to stop running but it still dripped, so even though it was much better, it still wasn't fixed. I was still charged. I understand I'm paying for their time and expertise but at the end of the day I was still charged for a job that wasn't 100% completed. They did offer to refund the fee to come out this time and the fee to come out again for them to come back to work on it again but I just don't think it's good business to charge for a job that was not 100% completed. I would use them again if I was in a real bind but given the choice I probably would not.
