Description of Work: HVAC system checkup. The technician was very polite and professional. He did a thorough check of the HVAC unit. He gave an assessment afterwards and made several recommendations but did not pressure me to purchase anything. It is an older unit and apparently has a slow leak; he let me know R22 will be hard to find in a couple of years.

Description of Work: Purchased an A/C tune for $49. In the back of my mind, I was expecting that some other "things" might show up as it had been quite awhile since any service had been done. |While they were here, I asked them to check out a nagging problem with downstairs furnace; they replaced blower capacitor for $112. |Upon inspection of attic unit, there was no water drainage shut off if there was an overflow. I wasn't happy about that at first and then the thought of water possibly overflowing through the ceiling...I went ahead and had the $214 installation done. |The two technicians were very courteous, informative of my situations but not pushy in the sale of the additional repairs. |They advised me of an additional repair that was marginal, but I will wait a while on that one. |Would not hesitate to call and hire them again. |

Description of Work: Adam was very thorough in performing maintenance on our A/C unit. He did a great job explaining the service he was doing and potential repairs needed. I really liked that there was no pressure to make the suggested repairs. He showed me what he was seeing and left the decision to me. We also met with Chris to get a quote for replacing our unit. He was also fantastic and again there was no pressure to make a decision right away. When we do replace our unit, we will likely use Mid State. I would definitely recommend this company.

Description of Work: Our first appointment they blew off and only called two hours late and then didn't leave a message. The call was from a worker, so we had no idea who was calling. Then it took them over 2 weeks to reschedule. Finally when they finally came, they try to sell us everything under the sun. Turns out the one issue our A/C had was under warranty and the warranty company told us that even if we'd paid them to do the service, they'd have gotten the part FREE from the A/C company. So we felt really cheated and kind of scammed. I wouldn't use them again, except now we have a one year contract for them to come and clean/service our A/C and heating unit twice in the next 12 months. After that? No way!

Description of Work: This company cleaned our ducts.They were friendly, curteous and went about doing their job. They ran into a little problem, but called the company and they brought out what they needed to correct the problem. We were pleased with this company, in fact, we have already used them again when our unit went out one day. We plan to use them again to service our unit.
