Description of Work: Steven did a complete service check of my HVAC unit, vents, and duct work. He did everything that was indicated on the coupon. Although, Steven could not find any major issues, he did recommended we maintain the unit, keep clean filters in it, and start saving for a replacement unit. My unit is 24 years old. Steven was very professional, very knowledgeable, and very courteous.I would recommend him to other subscribers.

Description of Work: Cleaned all the ducts in our home. It appeared to be well done however, you don't get to see the end result. They were very professional and had all the right equipment.

Description of Work: Mid State Air installed a new HVAC unit after our previous one went out. Their representative carefully explained their product and service and payment options, and he guided us through the process of applying for a heat pump loan through TVA. He was friendly, courteous, and did not use any high-pressure sales tactics. The price was equivalent to the quotes we had received from other companies. They performed the service timely, and everything was done well without incident.

Description of Work: I called on 1/8/15 to set up an appointment for a service tech to come out and check my noisy unit. The lady on the phone was very nice. Set up the time for the following day. I gave her my address and made sure to give her my phone number. The tech was to come out 1/9/15 between 2-4pm. 4:30 on 1/9 no one had shown up. I called to confirm that I still had an appointment. The same girl that set my appointment the previous day RUDELY stated that the tech was running late and that they had no contact information for me to call. Before I had given her my name and location she told me this so either a) she had caller ID and knew who was calling by the number or b)this was her standard RUDE comment she gave to everyone. Regardless of that I wanted to know when to expect a tech. She again RUDELY stated he would be out when he got there. Okay. 6pm the guy finally showed up. Clay was our Tech and he was super nice and very apologetic for what happens at dispatch. He checked over our unit and recommended the service club membership for maintenance. He did a great job even though it was frigid cold and he was 4 HOURS LATE. So I can't recommend this company in good mind. Yes. I used an Angie's list coupon so the service was free. Yes, my tech was great. BUT the tardiness and the rudeness of their "dispatch" is terrible. Wouldn't send them to my grandmothers to fix something.

The workers were professional and completed in a timely manner. I had used them last year and that's why I wanted them. I knew they did good work.

Description of Work: MSAC&H did a fine job cleaning our ducts, both professionally and thoroughly. They were respectful of any extra dirt in the house and cleaned up immediately. They answered all questions politely and professionally. | |Fo those that never have had their ducts cleaned before, this company vacuumed and power brushed all vents, took the HVAC unit apart to vacuum and brush both the main returns into and out of the unit. They finalized the job by spraying down our main return line with an ionized liquid/scent. With 12 vents in our home they were on premise 2.5 hours and never stopped working. | |The only negative comment is that they neglected (forgot)? to clean the washing machine dryer vent which they said they would when we hired them, potentially the most dangerous vent in need of cleaning in the house. We then asked for them to call and come by the next time in Nashville to complete that part of the job. We still have not heard from them, now six+ weeks later. | |From a marketing point of view and to foster goodwill towards buying additional services, one would think they would replace the home filter ($3-5 ea.) for a complete duct cleaning service. They did take the opportunity to cross sell other services they provide which they indicated were critical for a complete duct cleaned service. If so, such services (tape floor ducts, instal new ionized in HVAC unit, etc., should have been included in the cleaning and priced for accordingly. Note: Our HVAC unit with a brand new ionizer accessory had been installed one week prior!) It would have also been a convenience to the consumer if the company carried an assortment of floor vents in their service vans for vents that need to be replaced. | |We planned on using this company for our annual HVAC maintenance service, however if the company will not provide the courtesy of a call back to finish the job, we are inclined to look elsewhere.

Description of Work: Installed a new SEER 16 AC/heat pump. They exceeded my expectations with knowledge, service, and professionalism. They TOTALLY cleaned up after installation. And - my electric bill is lower! I highly recommend them!!!
