I used them for our last two installations of equipment and have used them for a number of years. They did everything I asked them to. The workers have been very thorough and neat.

The gas heat and electric air conditioning unit they installed is wonderful. I have never experienced such a responsive and effective system as what I have now. Even though it was installed in late November I actually had an opportunity to use the air condioner for a couple of days and it was wonderful. Now, in mid January, though we have never had any intense cold, I have still needed heat to rid the house of a damp chill. When I turn the thermometer to 70' it takes just minutes to get warm. The company came and spent 3 days here putting in the system...cutting holes for registers, running large insulated pipes in the crawl space, and building the unit outside on a pad. When they were through there was not one piece of foil, insulation, wood or metal to be found in the yard. I was very impressed. I do have to say there was some confusion over getting the system turned on. That actually took several weeks. I suggest for anyone putting in a unit with gas that it be determined who is going to see to it that the gas company comes and that the unit will be turned on and to have the installers call you when that has been set up. Other than that, you will be pleased you chose Mid State and very satisfied with the completed job.

I'd say A all the way across. They were right on time. The guy introduced himself. Very courteous. No pressure as far as to buy other products. Came in, did the work, explained what he did and left. Just very professional and knowledgeable. Everything was great. No suggestions. It was actually about two hours. Price was A. Fifty bucks was very good.

He showed up on time and did the work as promised. Showed me some issues with my HVAC unit that may need repair in the future.

Called them mid afternoon and they arrived later that evening. Jim arrived and was professional and able to explain issue in common language. He placed part on order and said it should arrive in 3 to 5 days. I figured as much since it was close to Christmas. Well to our surprise the part arrived the next day. They called to set up an appointment for that day. Caleb arrived and was extremely professional and proficient. He was complete in under one hour and we were in business again. I have already recommended this company to two friends.

It was fine. That worked out fine. It was fairly quickly. I haven't had any issues. I had two systems so I had to pay for the second which I knew so it was not a big deal. It was fine.

Mid-State Air & Heating came out to make the repair. Our heating went out 2 additional times after repairs. We had paid for an additional part and service, but decided to use another company at that point, and cancelled the additional repair. After 2 weeks of multiple requests for a refund not being processed, we finally had to dispute the charge with our credit card company. They are very prompt with coming out for service, but we had a very poor experience with the quality of that service. I would not recommend this company.

It was an Angie's List special. We went a head and signed up with them because we had had such good experience with them. We have had two separate complete systems through them over a course of about 2 and half year period. In each instance, I was extremely well pleased with the service, the price, and the response. It is one of the better firms that we have encountered in that area.

They call or they send like a little post card reminding me of my service, asking me to call and schedule something, they call before, like the day before to remind you that they are gonna be out the technician calls before he comes to the house, they are very clean, they always have the booties on and explain everything that they are doing inside and out, go through the details work order, makes any suggestions and the few times I needed the service they have been abler to take care of it in the same visit.

I was encouraged by the professionalism of the estimater/saleman, and then blindsided by the lack of concern the install crew and supervisor displayed when a problem occurred. Fiberglass insulation was in my air vents after the install and the supervisor denied any responsibility and did not offer to help clean it out. I am in a state of uncertainty about the future of the system.

Brendan came out and went over our options for preventing that from happening again, went over our cost options with the monthly membership plan, and promptly fixed our problem while we decided what to do. This is my second time using Mid-State (the first time was for a furnace issue) and I'll continue to go back to them for their expertise and quality of work.

I got them from Angie's List. They have good customer service where they will come out like the same day or next day. They have great customer service but not everything has worked so I have them come back several times. I still have little issues. I would use them for maintenance and not for any major things like new system.
