The technicians were thorough and took the time to walk me through all the issues and options I had.

Always trying to up sale. I bought two expensive items, one of which, the electrostatic air filter, didn't work any better than good store bought filters and it was far more cumbersome. The second item was some sort of dehumidifier for the ac system itself (to prevent rusting). I have no clue if it is working or not as I am too old to be climbing up in my attic and I wouldn't know what to look for anyway. If you are not knowledgeable of the real workings of heat/air/ plumbing, then don't use this company. They will give you very reasonable explanations as to why you should buy more products from them than you probably need.

Work was very good. Brian came on time, carefully reviewed all parts of the air conditioner and found the problem. He was very professional and knowledgable. I am so glad to have this work done. It corrected a problem with the system being sluggish while working on these long hot days. Price included fall check up. Thanks!

They've been very good. The quality is very good and they're very responsive. They come three times a year to check and if I have any trouble they came back.

Mid-state initially came out to assess the state of our current unit, which was 33 years old! As expected, the cost to repair wasn't worth putting into such an old unit. So we decided to go with a new unit. The thing I liked about this company was that different people did the service call and the new sales call. So, it wasn't like the guy assessing the damage stood to benefit if we decided to buy a new unit instead (otherwise I don't know that I would trust a high repair bill that would push us in the direction of buying new). Anyway! The sales guy was also great, took his time to make accurate calculations, measuring everything, checking in the attic, etc. He left us with all the info and didn't pressure us at all. We decided to take the plunge and within a few days had an entirely new HVAC purchased and installed. The installation was smooth, they left everything cleaner than they found it. The paperwork process was super easy and simple, as was the financing (for which they have really great rates). Would definitely recommend!

Would not rehire them as they recommmned I replace parts that didn't need to be replaced at this time.

Guy was extremely nice and polite. However, after the servicing, he sat down & explained everything that was wrong with my unit and the huge amount of money to fix it. Don't doubt what he said, but I felt a bit ambushed by that. I had a service contract with another company, & they just came out, serviced the unit & left. So, not prepared for the sales pitch. Very nice people, though. And knowledgeable.

I had installed a new thermostat in the winter, and whole it worked for the heat something was wrong for the air. He reprogrammed and checked everything out and it was done!

They advised me that I needed substantial repairs on my old unit. I did not use them for repairs since I have a household warranty that uses another company for repairs but I was happy to have the 2nd opinion.

We were given the recommendation that in order to cool the upstairs adequately that we need to consider having a separate thermostat installed..

They came the 1st couple years and just did the service work. Mid-state was more transparent and not so eager to get in your pocketbook. They were more dependable. I did have a situation with an office worker that was a little rude. But the pricing was fine
