T.J. came out and gave me an estimate for duct cleaning and some additional work involving reworking some of the duct work for my hvac system to address a situation in my converted family room. For a few years now I have had to use a window a/c unit and space heater in my family room (converted garage) due to inadequate heat/air vents. I found the price quoted to be very reasonable, so we proceeded with the work. We haven't had any extreme weather yet, but it seems the space heater and window unit will go to storage!

The original installation service was $6,000. The experience was good. They provided thorough, professional service including a lot of extra tasks. I have no tremendous endorsements.

I was able to book an appointment within days of making my call. Another company had a SIX-WEEK waiting list -- or they simply weren't interested in maintenance appointments. Technician showed up exactly on time (extra points for this!), explained all technical work in non-technical language after asking about any concerns or issues with the heat pump/air conditioning. My A/C needed coolant (expected this would be needed) but, although in line with previous year's service calls (from a different company), this part of the service call was twice what I had budgeted. I would recommend asking what the charge for coolant is when you book your appointment so you don't have the "sticker shock" I had with the bill. Technician was thorough and offered several extra services which I declined because all I wanted was basic maintenance check-up. I would use this company again.

GREAT, GREAT! The service technicians arrived promptly, introduced themselves and prepared to do their job. They were very courteous, clean,( placed shoe covers over their shoes before surveying the area in my home), showed respect to me and my home. They worked together as a team, very professional. Offered useful information when asked and provided helpful information concerning our ventilation filters. Our home is relatively small and our price was a based on a coupon from Angie's List. There were other cheaper quotes however the reviews on this company were very good and recent. My question is, why is there not more servicemen of this caliber?. We have had many previous disappointments from repairmen and servicemen. These men were wonderful.

He arrived a little earlier than I expected, he immediately went to work, he found the problem in about 10 minutes, replaced the part, cleaned the unit, and answered all of our questions, didn't try to sell us anything that we didn't need, and was gone. very professional and very nice. I would highly recommend this company!

They were very professional, and went the extra mile in thoroughly cleaning my unit. It was very dirty from previous home owner's neglect. I would definitely recommend !

Air conditioner went out the day before we left on a 3 wk vacation. They met our friend here and the work, helped us figure out how to afford it and left with no mess no fuss.

Heat went out during a very cold snap, we had an appointment (Thursday) between 11:00-1:00 and they did not show up until 2:30, without calling to say they were running late, it was 53 degrees in my house. They found the problem and provided a temp. fix as a part needed to be ordered. They called on Sat. and advised they would be out to fix it on Mon. (heat was still working at the time) between 12:00-2:00 and called that Monday morning to confirm the appointment. They called again at 12:30 (after I made arrangements to stay home) to say the part actually did not come in. They came out the following day to repair the unit (which of course, the heat went out again the previous night). The price charged was very acceptable and due to Angie's list they did not charge a service fee. The tech. was very knowledgable and nice. This was my downstairs unit. I had known for a while we would most likely need to replace the upstairs unit (A/C portion) and especially before the warmer weather started so I asked for a quote on a new unit. They sent someone else out who did an extensive review of the home and provided a quote. The quote was substantially higher than other quotes received for a Zenon unit (never heard of a Zenon, was only told it was mfg. in TN) and was a smaller unit than I one I currently have. We have not decided what we are going to do but will most likely go with a Rheem

I learned about this company when they had a "big deal" for a talking programmable thermostat. Being totally blind, I felt it would be perfect for me. I called the company to ask about it. The person who answered couldn't answer my questions, so had me speak with the company's owner. We set up an appointment that had to be rescheduled because of snow. I now have my talking thermostat, and I can use it independently! If you or someone you love is blind, or has another print reading disability, this is a must, and the company is top notch from start to finish! Because they are so professional and customer focused, we bought their HAC maintinance plan. That was my idea. There was no pressure from Stephen, our installer. I brought it up. I'm confident that I will always receive great service from this company!

Excellent , they arrived on time and completed the job as planned

The service was excellent. As i stated, Thomas took pictures of several areas in the attic and explained everything he did. We were surprised to see from the photos that there were areas where there was no insulation and areas where the wall insulation needs to be rehung.

We had several estimates for an A/C replacement Unit with prices ranging from $3,200 - $7,000. Mid-South fell in the middle of the range and had sound reasoning for any questions I asked. Their installation people were great and completed the job on time as promised. No complaints here, only compliments.

From the time they discovered the problem until the problem was 100% fixed was less than 5 hours which included getting the new part and putting it in. Amazing................................I will recommend this company 100% and I am a realtor that has clients that are always needing a good heating and air company.

They were excellent the product not so much.

Office staff and field techs were professional, polite, & respectful. On site, the tech quickly offered a concise & believable diagnoses of the problem and quoted what felt like a rather hefty price on the spot, though I had no point of reference to determine if it was fair or not. Understandably, in an effort to drive additional business, tech also requested permission to review heating unit for other problems and pitched a maintenance program.

Went overall great. And am planning to use their services in the future!

They never called back after I phoned in a request for service at 7 am. I was told that they start returning calls after 7:30 am. I knew that the compressor was gone out on my Heat Pump. After 2 hours I called Lee Company and they came right out. They got the job. Mid State lost alot of money that day because I also signed up for a 5 year service contract. If this is the way that Mid State handles their initial leads, then what would the follow up be like?

My experience with them was excellent. He found out the problem very fast and took care of it.
