They did what they were supposed to do. they had all the proper equipment and were in and out in a couple hours

It was great! He did a good cleaning and gave us a good assessment of additional work that needs to be made. The assessment seems to be fair. He contacted me quickly to fit me into the schedule. We will be hiring him for the additional work in the future.

It was good. I had this service done before and this price was less than I previously paid. They completed the work within an hour and a half. The staff was extremely friendly. They were very careful about taking care of my property. I think that I going to sign up for their semi-annual service contract. They did an outstanding job.

The service was absolutely fantastic. The service technician was extremely professional. I was really impressed by him. He answered all of our questions and was very thoughtful. You could tell he was paying attention to the service.

They did a good job. They fixed what needed to be fixed, cleaned up after themselves and it was back to normal. I did not have to clean up after them which was nice. They were fine, very friendly and nice.

I was told by the service person that my system was too old and that the coil was leaking. He recommended I talk to a salesperson who ultimately recommended replacing my entire HVAC system at a cost of more than $6500. Fortunately I got a second opinion. That service person recommended recharging the system with coolant and included a die to expose the leaking. Total cost of that second service call was around $400. Now it's August and my (too old) system is functioning perfectly. No leak has been exposed by the dye and I've stayed comfortable all summer long. I would recommend caution when dealing with this company. And a second opinion. This would be in addition to the information I've already entered. I found it interesting that Mid State responded by saying that I was more interested in replacing my entire system and that the service person had offered to recharge my system. I had expressed an interest in replacing my system only after being given me a laundry list of things that were wrong or about to go wrong while recommending repeatedly that my system was about to fail. He did, in fact offer to recharge the refrigerant but quoted a price in excess of $400 as he was walking out the door. I kept the invoice and I would respectfully disagree with Mid State's response not to mention their assessment of my system. I would like to emphasize that my system is still cooling my home efficiently and there is still no evidence of the "leak" indicated by the Mid State service person. I would also like to mention that my energy bill has remained at or around the $100 per month mark. Since my home is around 1200 square feet I am inclined to be happy with cost of operation. I will update this as it becomes necessary. Here it is November and I can honestly say that my HVAC system has performed flawlessly all season long. Still no evidence of a leak. It's now May 30th, 2014 and my heating preformed flawlessly all winter long and now that its getting warmer the AC is also working just as it's supposed to. Once again I would like to emphasize that all I had initially requested was a routine inspection and what I got (after disclosing that I had recently had lung surgery) was a laundry list of all manner of ills my system was suffering from. I still have the original invoice written up by the Mid State service person. I also had a neighbor visiting with me at the time the service persons inspection took place. I is discouraging to have had dealings with a company whose only interest in me seem to be selling me an hvac system I didn't necessarily need or afford. The 'so called' leak has yet to materialize. I wouldn't have a problem with being told that my system needed some maintenance but to hear this young man tell it my system was about to fail at any minute. I don't appreciate the implication that I didn't understand what was going on. Neither do I appreciate the use of scare tactics to frighten someone with disabilities into making an expensive purchase they can't afford. I don't doubt these folks have an established customer base that, according to other reviews, is quite happy with their performance. The facts in my situation don't seem to support that and I would never recommend anyone use this business. Finally the remark this person who responded to my review made alluding to me needing someone else to make this kind of decision for me ("We probably should have tried to set up our meeting times with him when the relative who advises him could be there.") was clearly condescending and meant to be insulting as I am perfectly competent to manage all my own affairs and it really comes across as a particularly cheap shot from mid state. I have a right as a customer to expect to be treated with honorably and with dignity. That certainly didn't happen here. The only failure to communicate was on their part. Once again I will happily make the copy of the service invoice written by their personnel available to anyone who would like to see it.

They came out to do the a/c tune up and told me that I had additional things wrong. They said that my evaporation coil was rusted out, we had a motor problem, and several other mechanical things that he said he could fix for around $1200.00. I told him we had a homeowner's warranty and he started to backpedal. The company for our home warranty came out and said that we didn't have any issues. I would never recommend them because while they did the service for the big deal well, they were dishonest in their quote for a nonexistent problem.

Best service company of any kind that we have worked with in a very long time! We had extensive work performed at our house to update our heating and air system. We had estimates from 3 different companies, and although there's wasn't the cheapest, they seemed the most knowledgeable and professional. The total job (performed in May 2013) took 4 days with between 2-5 men here the entire time (from ~9am to 6-8pm each day). Everyone that I came into contact with either while they were actually at my home or by phone was extremely courteous and kind. Additionally, each person went above and beyond what was asked of them, and they did their utmost to make sure I was completely happy with their performance and service. We were thrilled with the final outcome of the total project. Amazingly, lightning struck our brand new HVAC unit 6 weeks after the aforementioned job was completed. I called upon Mid-State again to assess the unit, as did our home insurance agency. While the two different HVAC assessors were here, it was completely obvious that the Mid-State representative knew more about HVACs in general, than the independent assessor that the insurance company sent out. We ended up having to replace the HVAC unit again, and Mid-State agreed to take much less than our insurance company offered in order to help us get AC back into our home. They were just as prompt, kind, and courteous the second time around:) I would without hesitation fully recommend them to any friend or family member.

They were excellent. I've used them the last two years. I use them every six months. They come on the weekends at no extra charge. Whenever you air conditioner goes out, they are there. I had a problem and they came out. He didn't find a problem and he said you are due for a check and it's a little early, but if you want I will go ahead and do that while I'm here. There was no extra charge. He did it and that was cool.

They checked out the unit on the first visit and ordered parts. The parts arrived the next day but were not the correct ones. They re-ordered the parts which came in the next day. They installed the correct parts that day. The process went smoothly except for the parts being wrong the first time.

We were very pleased with the work performed by Mid State and would definitely recommend them for any job, big or small. We had seen their reviews on Angie's List and called them to give us an estimate on new units. Chris came out and we were very impressed with his knowledge and the time he spent with us. He took the time to find out what our needs were, as well as to educate us on the entire process. He did a thorough evaluation of our home and performed measurements to be sure we had the proper sized units. It was because of him that we decided to go with Mid State. We were unfamiliar with the Xenon brand and that made us a little nervous at first, but Chris explained their product to us and we also researched reviews on the internet. We felt so good about Mid State with their many years of experience and knowledge, that we felt they were the right company for us. We got estimates from other companies as well, and no one spent near the amount of time that Chris did with us. Mid State had competitive prices as well. When T.J. and the crew came out to do the work, they were punctual, professional, friendly, and most importantly, they did a great job performing the work. They were neat and cleaned up after themselves when the job was complete. We highly recommend Mid State.

This is my favorite local owned company. They have people on call through the weekend. They will get to you. They are good and they will work with you and your budget. If they don’t fix the problem they will continue to come back until the problem is fixed and complete.

Mid State Air Conditioning & Heating was fine. I purchased two deals for them. I only paid for the cost of the big deal.

We did not know why our attic fan stopped working, but the technician was polite, came inside and took a look at the problem. he quickly figured out the issue, and he fixed it on the spot. The company typically focuses on heating and air issues, but they worked in our service call ASAP (within a few days of the request) and assisted us! I would recommend this company to others or call them again if we had a problem.

The experience was great. They are really nice people. The first air-conditioning they put in, they turned it on and there was something wrong with it and they put in another one the very next day. They came back out and they have checked it to make sure everything was okay and then they came back out and there was some sweating on the outside of it, like there may have been a leak to the air-conditioning to the house. They came out and checked that and fixed the little leak. They are very easy to work with. The price is pretty good. I would use them again, I have a 10 year warranty on parts and labor.

i purchased an AC Tune-up for $49. The technician inspected both of our AC units. He replaced a capacitor on one of the units for $132. Finally he washed the filter on the outside unit. All in all, the coupon was worth the work performed.

Mid State Air Conditioning & Heating were very professional. They did a great job and they took time even though it wasn't a big service, he was here and carefully cleaned up after himself. He fixed the problem and we just thought he was great.
