What a sweetheart - loved Tyler and the work he did for us (installed our kitchen floor). The floor came out perfect and having Tyler around was a joy. Actually we plan to have him back to do all of the finish work in our kitchen AND tile our bathrooms.

Excellent work, very professional, took the time to get it right. Will definetly use Tyler again for future projects.

We had an unfinished room that was converted into a playroom for our kids. It has a window seat, a play nook, and a small kitchen area - cabinets, bar sink, refrigerator - in addition to the larger room. So our project included HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, hardwood flooring, door removal & installation, insulation, & some custom woodwork. We couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Tyler did a great job on all aspects of the project and was just a pleasure to work with. He was punctual, flexible, tidy (which is hard with drywall dust), and did exactly what he said he was going to do. He had good ideas & worked with us to come up with the best solution for our room. I would hire him for another project or recommend him to my friends without hesitation.

I was very pleased with the work that they did for me. I have no complaints about them. I will use them again in the future.

After torrential rains, our new roof leaked at the chimney to the point where water poured down the wall. Once the roofers corrected their error, the wall was badly stained. As we really didn't like the fireplace mantle or surround, we had it replaced since we would be repainting anyway. This is the focal point of our home and we wanted the paint job on fireplace and wall to be perfect. Adding to the inclination to not do amateur work was the new surround is travertine marble--very porous and unforgiving of alien substances such as paint. Mr. Lebens was immediately response via email, and scheduled a time to come estimate the work. He emailed an estimate within 3 days of his visit. The amount did not include wall paint, but did include the mantle paint. He worked our small job in while doing another larger one, and came 4 days in all to do the various steps of the work. He even bought a new brush so the job would be seamless, and it was. He used the shop vac while sanding the sheetrock mud down, to minimize dust; policed the area before leaving each time. He was flexible and considerate of our time.

I had a hose to my washer burst and significant water damage which required new drywall, paint and texture in my garage and laundry. Along with drywall repair in several other rooms and closets. They installed tile in my bathroom, painted and replaced the toilet. They replaced the vinyl in my laundry area and installed new cabinets. Although it was tedious and messy work, they came when they said they would and made good progress until it was completed. Very good about checking with me, especially at the end, to make sure that I was happy. I am very pleased with the result. I spoke with a number of contractors before choosing Lebens Improvement. After it was all said and done, I thought the estimate was reasonable and was impressed by the timeliness with which they got back to me and their professionalism. Since I was also working with some other installers at the time, I appreciated the fact that I had a time line that I could rely upon so that everything could be scheduled in a timely fashion. I was at work while most of the repairs were done, but this presented no problems whatsoever.

Did not go well overall, since we did not get an estimate or call back.

Mr Lebens was good about discussing with me the different paints and paint textures. He let me know what he would have to do each step of the way and made sure I was happy with the results.

This guy is amazing. He and his son worked all day long and into the night to complete our rush job (2 weeks!) and got it done with time to spare. Followed up with a call to make sure everything was ok and if he could further help out in any way. I have a vacation house he will also be working on very soon. Highly Recommended.

Tyler made multiple visits to diagnose the shower leaks. Systematically eliminated problems as he found them. All water damage repairs were done with attention to detail. Extremely happy with his work. I have a laundry list of other handyman items for him to work on now as well. Very positive experience.

Responded to call immediately. Was very professional, very helpful in proposing options. Purchased good quality materials and did an exceptionally good job. Have already recommended him to friends.

Tyler Lebens arrived the next day and was able to repair a hole in the ceiling in less than 24 hours including paint. Slam dunk job by Tyler. Highly recommended.

It went quite well - from the first telephone contact, through the work itself being completed.

They were excellent, It was just shocking. He was a contractor that showed-up every day and worked long hours and did what he was suppose to do. He was a perfectionist in his work. He is very trustworthy, he left the area in neat order when they left.
