. Tyler was friendly, responsive to my requests and overall did a great job!

As the consumer, the project went exceptionally well. I believe that Tyler encountered some deep concrete post foundations that he had to dig up. Then he had to use even more concrete than expected to secure the new posts. He also had to work around a small wire that was buried for the Invisible Fence. With at least 5 posts replacements, he did not damage the wire. The deck repair could not have gone smoother despite the inconsistent sizing of the screw heads. Tyler was very tolerant of my mother's dog that seems very aggressive but actually has an anxiety disorder. He also was very thoughtful and considerate in regard to my mother's particular requests. We have discussed future projects with Tyler.

Our shower floor was showing signs of moisture buildup under the tiles. Tyler removed the tile in the floor and sealed the area for a new floor. He retiled the floor. The tiles he found for the new floor were an excellent match for our older shower. He also removed old grout and regrouted areas on the shower walls. The work was excellent.

Tyler was very helpful in finding matching spindles that needed replacement as well as matching the paint. I didn't have to hunt down anything which was a huge relief. He worked clean, efficiently and was very punctual. He was also friendly and professional. We were VERY happy with the finished project and pleased with the price. He is definitely someone you can trust around the house even if you aren't there and that is a big plus as well.

Once again Tyler was very helpful, locating a door that suited our budget and our taste. I am SO happy with the beautiful door and the paint is such a great pop of color for the front of the house. He was very careful to preserve the interior trim and also careful not to damage our wood floors. He kept everything clean, endured our very chatty children with enthusiasm and was pleasure to have around. I highly recommend Lebens Improvements and will be hiring Tyler again for future projects.

We get so many compliments on this baby gate! He built us a custom baby gate out of a door that matched all the doors in our home and it looks amazing! It's a half door at the bottom of our stairs and it looks like it was built with the house!

He painted the main level of our home and did an incredible job! We have high ceilings and many cabinets to cut around. He came when he said he would and got the job done in a very timely fashion (which is great due to a large party we were having) We have used him before and will use him again!

Tyler Lebens was very thorogh and explained possible outcomes due to the uncertainty of what he could find underneath the ceramic tile that needed to be replaced. He took careful steps to move appliances and was very conscientious in the new installation process. My wife tells me that he is considering a new business venture, and I don't know how long he will continue in his current line of work. I have future needs to install new flooring in the upstairs of our house and when that time comes, I plan to contact him to see if he would be willing to take the project.

We recently moved to Burns TN from AL and needed to have some work done to make improvements to our new house we wanted. the work we decided to do first was install a storm door, ceramic tile for kitchen floor, install shelving in the garage and fix a loose kitchen sink. i contacted 2 handyman services for estimates. the first came to look over the jobs and never called back as he promised to do. Tyler Lebens came to the house and went over the projects and within a week emailed me his quote. after researching the company we chose to hire Mr lebens to do the work. He first installed the shelving which was custom sized to fit in what had been an area of dead space behind soem steps. He built the shelves as i asked and they were well built and finished with paint & caulking. Since Mr Lebens does all the work himself, we had to work around his availability for the floor tile with his other jobs which was not a problem for us. Two weeks later he returned with his daughter assisting and installed the ceramic tile floor in the kitchen. they did an excellent job very thourough and detail oriented work. Next he installed a storm door to our front door frame. the frame was not deep enough and he had to design additional framing to accomodate the door. when he was done you could never tell the door was not part of the structure,. my only disappointment was the handle was installed in reverse so you have to pull up to open the door. he explained that was due to the way he had to hang it im not knowleldeable enough to know if that is true or not but the door works fine otherwise. We are very pleased with the quality of his work and would certainly use his services again. UPDATE: Mr Lebens made a followup contact with us on his own initiative to resolve the door handle question. He called the company that we bought the door from and they directed him on how to make the handle work properly. Mr Lebens came out and changed the way the handle works to our satisfaction and at no additional charge. We appreciated his efforts and his initiative to take care of this.

It was a wonderful experience. My mother lives alone and is in the first stages of Altzheimers, Tyler was very accomodating and made her feel at ease through the whole process. He was very professional and we were very happy with everything he did. THere was a lot of little things mom asked him to fix and help her with and he did everything needed. We appreciated him so much for making this remodel a great experience!

I called Mr. Leben, and he came the next day to give me an estimate. Fortunately, he was able to come the following day, since some materials he had on order for his current job, were still unavailable. This man is more than a "handyman". He knows proper construction, and has a background in that field. I had an very annoying squeak in my master bedroom, because the subflooring seams were never anchored to a joist or proper bracing. He was able to cut out the sheetrock from the garage ceiling and do the repair, instead of having to take up the carpet, move furniture, take up padding and the subfloor - faster and less "downtime". He then made sure the squeak was gone, and replaced the sheetrock, including tape and bed, and sanding. I had also tried to install a bathroom fixture myself, and ran into a stud with wiring attached, so Mr.Leben was able to determine the stud could be removed without structural issues, moved the wiring and installed the fixture. I also had a warped deck gate, that obviously had never fit the opening, as evidenced by cuts on the gate by previous owners. A turnbuckle had been a temporary "fix", but the gate had become impossible to close. Mr. Leben built an entirely new gate, reinforced all corners with metal "L" brackets, painted and installed the gate. He had to cut the pieces to fit the slightly askew gate opening. I would recommend him to anyone. Clean-up was superb, and he knows what he is doing. We discussed shoddy home construction, and I could tell he knows the RIGHT way to do things. Unfortunately, he sees the effects of substandard home building in the area, but is very capable of addressing those problems. I will definitely call him for my next project/projects.

Mr leben was a pleasure to work with. He came everyday with his helper Nickey, who did the painting and cleaning up. All of which she did an excellent job at. . He answers all questions and listerned to my wants. His work was excellent and I would certainly hire him again . the whole job from start to finish went very smoothly. . Anna Jones

1. Estimate was on time and accurate. 2. Began work on the day we arranged. Did tear out, repairs, and installed new tile within the time frame he quoted. 3. Cleaned up each day. Left NO mess at completion of the job. 4. Bill was exactly what he said it would be.

I?m a simple man, so I decided to do a simple review based on several principles one would look for, and hope for, when choosing a professional for your home remodeling or renovation. The following is that list. I?ve also added an A-F ratings comment with each principle for Leben?s Improvements. I?ve listed these principles in what I believe to be the order of importance. 1. Integrity (A+) A wise man once said, Integrity is when someone does the right thing when no one else is around. After working with Tyler for a couple of days my wife and I knew we could trust him with our home. When you?re structuring your daily routine to a long term remodeling project, it?s important you know what a comforting feeling it was being able to trust Leben?s Improvements with our home. During the whole two weeks the job took, my wife and I never had to miss any work. 2. Design I.Q. (A+) Not only is Tyler a skilled craftsman, he has quite an eye for design as well. He had some keen advice for us as we were choosing materials for the remodel. 3. Clean as you go (A+) I daily remarked on how clean they kept their work area. There were tools and materials left on the job, but they were neatly stacked in a corner and out of the way. There was no debris or trash left around. 4. Communication (A+) Tyler would update us daily with phone calls, email and text messaging on how things were going and what the next steps were. 5. Job Quality (A+) With the specific updating along the way, we learned that Leben?s Improvements standard materials were several degrees above what the original home builders had used. Simply put, I feel decades from now, when I?m long gone and this house starts to wither, the shower will probably be the last thing to go.

Came out when he said he would. Took his time to get to know the job so that he could make the bid. Very easy to talk to. His was the higher of the bids that is the reason he didn't get the work, but in hindsight, should have gone with him.

He showed up on time to start the work. Removed his shoes at the door. Completed the repair in a quality manner. Final cost was below his estimate.

We didn't go with him because he was very honest and told me that the insulation was not my problem. I was impressed with his honesty. He was really nice and came out the same day I called him. I had other companies come out and give me quotes over a $1000 dollars for the extra insulation. He was very trustworthy. I would call him again if I needed. Also he was polite and came when he said he would.

I did not get work performed but did speak with him on the phone and he was very nice and suggested someone else who might help me with the projects I am considering which would involve faux finishes.
