They called to confirm the appointment and showed up promptly. Work was quick and professional.

We recently moved into a new home and the home had different keys for every door. There also seemed like there could be quite a few keys floating around, so I decided to have the all locks changed so I would know who would have keys and also so one key would fit all exterior/garage doors. I called The Lockman on Friday afternoon, and she said they could have a technician there Saturday at 10:00. I said that was perfect. The technician (Jason) showed up 5 minutes early. I showed him around the home and the doors, and he quickly suggested what I should do. He ended up changing the locks on 3 doors, which turned out to be 6 cylinders. He keyed them all so one key would work on all of them. The whole thing including home tour, installation, and payment probably was about 25 to 35 minutes. The technician was very friendly and helpful. I asked him how long he had worked for the company, and he said he had worked for the owner for 13 years. I will definitely use them again in the future if I need any lock work done.

I cannot say enough about this company. We all worry who we let in and out of our homes for service calls but I have to say this company is top notch. They were professional, kind, hardworking, went the extra mile. I would recommend them to anyone. Class act.

Fantastic experience! Easy to set up appointment and was given an estimate over the phone. Day of appointment Mike called to see if it was ok to come early as he was already in the neighborhood which was great. We walked the doors and he went to work. He changed 22 cylinders (some double sided) and brought to my attention one door knob that needed to be replaced. He had a replacement on the truck and gave me a reasonable price. He completed the job in a little over an hour. Very professional. I will use again.

The technician was prompt and on time. He performed all the tasks we requested in about 30 minutes. When he was done all doors worked well and the key mechanisms were smooth.

Overall it could not have been better service.

I called in the mornig for service & they said they could be there today @ 3pm. They then asked if they were running ahead of schedule if it would be okay if they came earlier. I said yes. About 1pm the technition called & again asked if it would be okay if he came earlier. I said yes & he said he was about 10 minutes away. All the work was done quickly & professionally. The quality was good. I am very happy with their service. I have never had any service provider in Memphis come earlier than they said they could be there. I would use them again.

Mr Scott was fantastic! He explained that his philosophy was to repair instead of replace whenever he could to save us money. Not only that, but he took the time to explain the layout of the city which was really helpful to me as a newcomer. He offered his card and told me to call anytime if I got lost! Wonderful, friendly service at a great price.

Bought a new home and wanted to have new locks installed. They installed deadbolts in 2 of my doors and changed the lock in the 3rd. They were on time and very curteous. Would definitely use them again

It was an excellent experience. We moved into a new home and for security purposes, wanted to know that WE were the only ones with working keys to the house. I used Angie's List for references of vendors. Found THE LOCKMAN rated highly. I called Tony and he was straightforward with services offered, pricing, and availability. He told me the name of our technician that would arrive and the description of their service vehicle. The technician called to let me know he was running behind on the previous appointment. He arrived 30 minutes later than the original scheduled time and it took him about 90 minutes to rekey 12 locks. Rico (tech) walked through the floorplan to see all locks needing work and discussed exactly what he could do and asked what I wanted overall witht he doors (a central key for most locks, different key for unique locks, and the ability to lock my storm doors...previous owner had lost all keys). Rico was very polite & professional. He interacted with me and my son while doing his work, but spent most of the time in his van doing the rekeying as that is where all their equipment is. The only 'surprise' is that I didn't understand when they rekey a deadbolt, that could be 2 locks if it has keyholes on both sides. They were clear about "anywhere a key goes, is $8 to rekey). Since those deadbolts have 2 keyholes, it makes sense they charege $16 ($8+$8) instead of just a single $8 to rekey.

James came out, and was punctual, professional, and worked fast. He was in and out in a hour; I would definitely do business with them again.

Got a recording on initial call and receptionist called back within minutes. She gave excellent consultation and some good advice. I got prompt, same day service. Outstanding work on matching 4 locks to one key. Also replaced the deadbolt on a difficult security door. Technician was expert, courteous, and struck me as a perfectionist. The mobile shop was well equipped and well organized. If necessary, we will use this business again.

The gentlmen J.M was nice, professionl and punctual and got started on the work right away. He made quick work of it all, I was impressed and very satisfied with the results. He provided me with an invoice and warranty information, and there price was competitive about $100. I would use this company again, they have 24/7 service and competitive rates.

When I found I couldn't open the door, I called and set up an appointment for the next day. He was early, but unobtrusively sat in the truck until I noticed him and asked him to come in. He was able to open the door almost immediately. But on trying it, I was still unable to open the locked door. He worked on it for a minute. I was still unable to open it. He went to the truck to get another file, worked on it again and then I was able to open and close it easily. He charged me only for the service call, was friendly, polite, professional.

I call the company around 7:30 am and they answered promptly. James was the person who took my call and arranged to came out to assist me. After telling him the situation about having my front door lock replaced 3 times by someone else (not on Angies list). He explained the lock operation and provided me with some additional keys. He did not over charge me or perform unnecessary work just to make money. I appreciate the service and the information that was provided to me by The Lockman.

These guys were awesome!! He know exactly what he needed to do. He showed me the problem and proposed a solution. They were in an out in an hour. I would recommend this business any time.

I got the name from Angie's list and sent an email to The Lockman. I got a prompt reply. On the day I called to set up the appointment, I was told that the work could be done that day if it was convenient for me. We set a time and The Lockman came and did the work. One of the doors didn't close very well, so it was also repaired to correct the problem. The technician was polite, friendly, helpful and he obviously knew his business.

Called and got phone estimate. He was ready to come that afternoon but I scheduled for the next morning. Arrived on time. He was professional, neat in appearance and friendly. Nice people to work with. Completed job in about 90 minutes. No problems. I have used others but from now on it will be The Lockman. Definitely the best of the bunch.

Punctual, Informative, double teamed the work and it was done in a flash, very reliable.

Called two weeks out to schedule the doors to be re-keyed at a home we were purchasing and were told to call back closer to the time we were closing. Called one week out and scheduled the service for 1:00. On the actual day, no one showed up at the scheduled time so I called again. The person on the phone said they could not see my appointment but could see if someone was available. I needed to eat so I gave them my cell number to call with a time they were available. After eating and while at Home Depot they called and said the service tech was on the way. When I got home, he was there...working away. (the painter let him in). He finished the job and when I asked about the mix up, he said HE scheduled the original appointment. When the dispatcher coordinated the days work for his truck he was working off the wrong date. Whatever. The work was completed as per the request and before the end of the day. THAT's what was important. The price was fair and the tech was very professional.

He was quite knowledgeable about his business. He also does a lot of other things, such as making calls to start autos. He gave me a Senior diiscount, which I appreciated.

Was very punctual. Called at 12:30 am and arrived at 8 am the same day. Found the problem right away and had it fixed within 30 minutes. Let me watch while he fixed it. The part only cost $7.50. Very professional. Highly recommend.
