Pool Sharks

We scheduled time for Jack to come out and give us several quotes for work we are thinking about having done (diving board removed, heater installed, tiles replaced, fence installed, salt water option). Jack gave us all the details of the work that would be required. Most impressive was the fact that Jack advised against some work that he felt was unnecessary, even though it cost him some potential additional revenue. Jack responded with quotes for the work requested within 24 hours. The weekly maintenance thus far has been phenomenal. Jack's crew are prompt, courteous and thorough. In addition to the quotes requested and the ongoing maintenance, Pool Sharks has also replaced a bad pool filter pump for us. We noticed the problem, informed Jack, and he was out within 24 hours evaluating the issue and replaced the pump the next day. Jack is incredibly responsive, professional, and trustworthy. He has acquired our trust and we will continue to use Pool Sharks for all pool needs.

Pool Sharks did not do the job but I would not hesitate to call them again if I need them during the summer.Their reviews on Angie's List and Jack's professional way of handling his business, makes me sure that he would do a good job!

They came when they said they would. Checked the box, then the bulb. Bulb wasn't working. They changed it and also changed the gasket which was rusty and old. The service was $99, bulb $12, gasket $20. Done in less than 30 minutes. Very happy with the service.

This is the second time we have used Pool Sharks. I can't say enough good things about Jack and his team. Jack is very responsive and always communicates in a timely manner. We had three quotes and the Pool Sharks price was the best. I can't imagine the service or timeliness having been any better too! I wholeheartedly recommend this company.

Jack and his team did a great job. They are very friendly and the pool looked great upon completion. I've never owned a pool so Jack has been extremely helpful in explaining the maintenance necessary to operate our system. He's been very kind and always shows up on time and does exactly what he says he's going to do. I would highly recommend Pool Sharks.

Excellent communication and service. Jack and his crew were in contact every step of the way and double-checked that everything was up to par. Price was the higher end of quotes but totally worth it for the level of service. Took the time to go through how new timer worked. Made recommendations to patch rather than drain and repair pool. Would definitely use them for any future service.

They are fabulous. They are prompt and quick to do the work. They respond to any questions or problems. They are very efficient and courteous. They did a fabulous job. We bid it out to several people. They were not the most expensive but they were not the cheapest either.

One word to describe this experience? OUTSTANDING. Jack was on top of the job from start to finish. Kept us informed of the timeline of completion, and any delays or problems that arose. The men that worked for him were professional, and very aware of doing a good job.....no haphazardness, whatsoever. The overall performance of this company is a rarity in todays business world. They say what they're going to do, and they do it. No excuses. No false promises. You can tell they take pride in their work.

This is the second time Pool Sharks worked on my pool this summer. On the first visit, they repaired a good sized leak, saving me from having to replace the liner this season. The light repair went extremely well - a lot quicker than I thought it would take. Jack gave me two estimates for fixing the pool -converting to a 12 volt light in the pool or going with another 120 volt light. I went with the 120 volt replacement as it would have taken about $300 more to convert the existing wiring to run the 12 volt light. (Although, I digress, if I were putting in a new pool, I'd probably go with 12 volts just to be on the safe side - a lot less juice in the pool!!) Scheduling was a bit more of a challenge for this repair as Pool Sharks diagnosed the problem (light fixture, an old one, had begun to leak from the back of the fixture and would trip the circuit breaker any time you turned the pool light on) a bit before I went on a week long vacation and worked with me on scheduling the repair for when I would be back in town. Pool Sharks showed up on time and quickly installed the new light fixture. I will definitely be using Pool Sharks in the future!

Jack Cantrell was very helpful throughout the process. Before he sent his crew out to dive the pool to look for the leak, he had me perform water level tests to eliminate the possibility that the problem was in the underground pipes (thankfully not!) but was indeed a leaky liner. I was worried that I was going to have to replace the entire liner but we made do with a patch for this repair. I will probably get one more season out of the current pool liner and will definitely call Pool Sharks when it is time for replacement.

He is very professional and pleasant to to work with. I hated to spend the amount of money I did, but I was very happy with whom I spent it with.

The owner, Jack Cantrell, was very pleasant and honest in delivering the end product as quoted. Crews arrived when scheduled and did excellent work. Only complaint I might have is the crew did not always clean up after themselves (which I pointed out to Mr. Cantrell on our final walkthrough). I was thoroughly pleased with Pool Sharks and plan to use them exclusively in the future. I might add that I got several quotes and theirs was a bit lower, but I went with them on a gut feeling that I could trust them and I was not wrong!!

They came out the day after I called for the estimate. Work was done 3 days later (2 of those days were the weekend). What they thought might be a 2 day repair was done in one day. Cleaned up after the work was done and even filled chipmunk holes with the extra sand. I will definitely use them again.

Jack and his employees are an amazing group. They were extremely professional in every aspect of the job. Jack gave a written estimate for the job with everything included. The workers showed up when scheduled and did their jobs amazingly well. In prepping the pool, they discovered that the concrete in one of the steps was failing and that part of the step would need to be rebuilt. No problem for these guys. While Jack was gone purchasing quick setting concrete, one of the workers removed the failing cement. An hour later the step was rebuilt and they were ready to start plastering the pool. In summary, Pool Sharks did what they said they would, when they said they would do it and did a better job than I expected.

We purchased a foreclosed house. The pool had been destroyed and the bank insisted WE pay for the repairs before closing. Pool Sharks came in repaired the pool within budget and more importantly in time for us to close. I can't recommend them enough. VERY PROFESSIONAL!!!!

They were easily accessible. They supplies were here in a reasonable amount of time. The prices were very reasonable.

They did an absolutely outstanding work. They were very attentive and answered all my questions. They answered the phone when I called. They came when they said they were going to come. My entire contract was done the way I wanted it done; each individual things that I need done was stated on the contract. They fulfilled everything. They were a little higher priced than any other companies but there was something about the way they made me feel that I was willing to pay a little higher. They did negotiate as people do when they hire and they were good.

The crew showed up when scheduled. Worked continuously. There was a day off as the new caulking dried. Any mess was cleaned up daily. No tools or products left around. Looks almost as good as new and certainly less expense than replacing.

Just a phone call and they came out and fixed our problem. E-mailed me the bill... quality work and would use again.

Jack and his employees are amazing. This is our first pool and he sent Bill out to our home to give us a crash course in Pool 101. Jack has been very responsive with all our questions and concerns.

No negative items to report at all. On time, professional, did the job correct. Gave advice on pool operation for the next year.

This company was fine overall, but we felt that the price was a little to much. The quality of their work was great though, and they were very professional.

Jack Cantrell came by the next day and quickly diagnosed the cause and stated their remedy for the severe liner problem. My wife was pleased with Jack's professionalism and attitude. I was due to travel for work over most of the following 2 weeks so my communication with Jack was mostly through E-mail; and Jack was always quick to respond; he even had their Insurance Agent forward certificates (Liability & WC) to me upon request. Because of Jack's attitude, responsiveness, and willingness to forwad the insurance info we decided to have Pool Sharks perform the work and even asked him to quote changing out the filter sand during the week of the liner fix. The liner job was quoted at $500 and the sand change out at $250. - later dropped to $225 if done at the same time. The job started the following Monday. Sergio & Beto were the 2 techs on the 4-day job that included a day of emptying the pool, a day to smooth out the liner and 2 days to refill the pool. Both Sergio and Beto were very nice & respectful to my family (a BIG worry since I was gone) and were equally diligent while there. I met them the last day of the job and I was impressed. I recommend Pool Sharks highly.

Perfect. Workers showed up as scheduled and worked until finished, which took several days. Worked around inclement weather. Communication with Jack is excellent.
